Every little tiny thing drew does is put down. The man signed a hat for someone, how was he supposed to know that someone would sell it on E bay ? Gosh give it up, hes not a monster. As far as Joel, he does answer people with no problem. Its sad that both men are dragged around & criticized no matter what is going on. You may hate both of them but I will never join in that trashing of people.

The only reason Brodsky posts on any blog or forum is to benefit his client by attacking the victim, her family and friends. I’m not saying it makes him a bad person, it’s just something to be aware of.
Presently, his only job is to use the media to promote his client and he’s doing this under the direction of Gregg Selig. Therefore, anything the man posts is fair game for scrutiny.
As for Drew Peterson signing autographs, that’s just tacky. He’s no hero. If someone wants to sell it, yay for them.

A thought just crossed my mind. Last weekend (I believe) FSP posted that searches would take place but they were searching in areas that were not safe for the public.
It made quite a stir here.
A psychic (and I’m using that to mean anyone with a gift in the supernatural although some people use it for a particular area) revealed what had happened to her when she recently visited Bolingbrook. The whole experience shook her to the core. The area that she wanted searchers (divers) to go was extremely dangerous and required closing part of Dresden Dam.
At the time, I wondered why she was able to post this … but now I think it’s because the searches had already taken place. She posted it yesterday (I think) and if any guilty party had wanted to get rid of evidence, he would have time since the next search was not scheduled until Saturday …
Just want to know what anyone and everyone thinks.

IMO, they just realized that the forum was becoming a burden to maintain and was doing more harm than good. Who has time to moderate that mess when there’s a missing woman to find?

I never found a police dept. that did not use people with the 6th sense. They are used alot. Most cops believe in that and full moons.

I don’t know if you read Sonia’s posts, but she believes that Stacy is there and gave specific area. She said that the searchers needed to get there right away … but I’m wondering if this area (Dresden) was the area searched when FSP posted that searches were taking place in areas that were not safe for the public to participate.
From what was said, the Dam is dangerous, and they would have to close part of the Dam so that the water flow would not be so strong (protecting the divers).
Sonia’s posts made it sound like the divers had not gone there yet, and I thought it was stupid to post it (if evidence really was dumped here by Drew or anyone else, wouldn’t they try to go back and get it or move it? I know they wouldn’t be able to get into the water, but who is to say that the evidence was all put in the water? Some psychics “get” that area, but believe that Stacy is on land.
My horrible thought is that both are true.

I do think that if there had been a search with boats and divers that the media would have been covering with helicopters as they did before. On the other hand, the case is no longer new and fuel is very expensive now…so maybe not.
I do know that I’ve been hearing “dresden dam” for a long time. I always thought that if LE had any leads that supported the theory, that they would have searched it long ago. But then, I’m far from psychic and I’m not in law enforcement.

Well, from what the psychics who DID contact law enforcement said, they were met with skepticism if not downright disbelief.
And some have had that problem in the past with other law enforcement, so they were gunshy about contacting law enforcement in this case.

On that same board, Brodsky is now saying a car w/dealer plates pulled at at Sharon B.’s and a well-dressed man and woman went in to Sharon’s house and stayed like an hour and a half. When they left he says Sharon came out and looked all dejected, no her usually snearing look at Drew’s house.

Well, here is the way I look at it…in the State of Illinois, in 2006, the US Census Bureau calculated exactly 12,831,970 people resided in the state of Illinois, of those people, let’s say 9,831,970 people are excluded due to their age, incarceration, or knowledgable of the case. That leaves 3 million people who could be jury pooled. Of those 3 million, I’m sure at least 13,000 will reside in whatever community of Illinios that they choose for the trial. I don’t think there will be a problem finding 12 people who have no clue about the case. Whose Brodsky kidding anyhow? Actually, I think he is trying to convince himself.

Yeah, I did that with a few posts already. Doesn’t help to assuage the utter frustration I feel after losing all of that information…
Why the hell couldn’t they just make the forum an historical ARCHIVE only? That way, it would still be available to read, but no one would be able to post/alter a post/delete a post.
There is NO reason why that information should NOT be accessible- alot of people worked pretty damn hard on these cases, and though we may just be “arm chair gumshoes”, and not LE, we came up with some really good info, clues and timelines.
I think it’s deplorable. Downright deplorable.

noway - I think that was the first step to getting organization of the site. I can understand Basherette is upset about losing her “stuff” though. That site should remain informational, because it was getting too wayward sometimes. I, personally, felt some posters were over-the-line with their rants. There was a post that referred to the judge, among other things, as a “nut job” in considering the gun issue. Whew, that was particularly eye-opening.
Well, I hope everyone is comfortable with what happens in the future with it. This is more the place to do the bantering and opinionating, although, it can get hotted up in here!

Really surprised more people aren’t here talking about the forum at FSP being gone since so many posters wanted that to happen. Really quiet tonight, huh? By the way, I saw that awful picture of almost naked Drew on that other site. What was that woman thinking that posted it on FSP??? GEEZ! I would be FURIOUS if someone posted a picture of me half naked on a public forum without my permission. Surprised Brodsky hasn’t already filed a lawsuit on Drew’s behalf. Guess if he had, we would have heard about it already.

The only reason, that I can see, that Joel Brodsky would post in this forum would be to once again utilize the “media” in a different approach to make more of a mockery of Stacy’s presumed, and most probable, death status. It was quite apparent in his post that his purpose was to divulge the “AK47-near nude” photo’s of Stacy and her sister, Cassandra. What he forgets is that Drew took those photo’s. What kind of police officer dresses his wife and sister in law in provacative poses and proceeds to take photographs? That man is not right. Brodsky, your trial by media is going to fail your client. His history and actions are certainly not celebrity status. This is the case that those of your peers will walk away shaking their heads and laughing at the ridiculous means that you’ve partaken to try and prove your client innocent. A jury of twelve-year olds can see through all this. I hope you have a back up career in the works.

To my knowledge, those pictures of Stacy and Cass haven’t been posted anywhere and are just in Joel’s files. Drew gave them to him for some reason, as well as vacation pictures of Stacy and the family. Probably to try to prove what a happy family they all were, ya think?

I was also a poster there and was pretty moderate, but did get carried away one time. If you remember when Drew’s picture was taken with his mouth hanging open after the ISP officer refused to shake his hand when he picked up the Denali? I photoshopped a pic of an orangutan with a similar expression and put them side by side. Childish, I know, but no worse than a lot of the other stuff done there. Anyway, people thought it was funny, then all of a sudden J in CA comes on and has a fit about it being very inappropriate and boom my post and all that ensued were gone.
Like, I said, I know it was childish, but no worse than hundreds of others and I never figured it out. I was expecting to get banned, but didn’t.

The following are just my opinions that to the best of my knowledge are based on factual data.
1. I do not believe either of the older boys will have any testimony to break anything wide open. (These are two nice, intelligent young men. One extremely intelligent. IMO if either of these boys felt they had knowledge of something terrible that happened there have been many, many opportunities for them to “flee” or talk to share their knowledge).
2. I cannot find any reason to think DP has any sort of John Wayne or Terminator type syndrome - blast everyone in sight. (I believe he never fired a weapon in the line of duty in all of his years in LE. I cannot even recall any mention of him drawing a weapon)
3. The pictures of Cass & Stacy in Drew’s SWAT uniform? I do not think Brodsky has that in his file as I read somewhere today, someone representing themself as JB, asking where he could see said picture.

Maybe we are all getting the feeling that it’s getting close to the beginning of the end. When they do finally charge him, it’s going to be a long haul. I think they’ll start with the Savio matter first. Whew, it’s going to be complicated. I just wish IL had cameras in the courtrooms.

I only know of him from what I’ve learned by watching him from day one. I don’t like him, or anything about him. As to his career, it was also publicly reported that the chief was not fond of his antics, and wanted to have him fired. What’s up with that?

It’s been pretty quiet in the media. I noticed Grace and Greta have not had much lately. When it gets quiet…you know what happens…ol’ Drew will do something to get the media camera’s rolling again….or Brodsky. I still cannot get over how so many people are supporting Brodsky’s posts of what may have happened to Stacy. He reads far too many Danielle Steele novels. Nobody can convince me that she is “hiding” and like the “Runaway bride”. Not when she was an adoring mother. If she were one to run off like that…she surely would not have reached out to so many for help. The Pastor, previous friends, present friends, a lawyer, Sharon, her sister, Pam Bosco. No way did she up and run off “like her mother”, per Brodsky. Not too mention, as distressed as she was over her sister Tina’s death…she would not have left her ashes behind in the house with Drew either. Think about it. If we were to believe Drew and IF she ran away…(which I’m 100% pos she didnt) “to where she wants to be”…she would have taken Tina’s ashes with her. Certainly she would have taken the two smaller children.
