  1. Thanks, Gatehouse!!!

    That other one was getting r e a l l y s l o w to load properly…

At least it was on my piece of poop computer…

  2. Basherette and Facsmiley. So thankful you all are back!
And thanks Gatehouse for a new thread.

  3. Yes Sir, Ma’am!
Or, should that be “Yes Ma’am, Sir!”?
    Or, “Yes Sir, Sir!”?
    Or, “Yes Ma’am, Ma’am!”?

Anyhoo, on my way now, SirMa’am…

  4. I asked JB (on the SYM site):

“Who put the “Bop” in the “Bop She Bop She Bop”?

Do you think I’m gonna be going do-not-pass-“Go”-or-collect-$200 straight to hell for that?

  5. Gatehouse,

I just wanted to apologize for what happened here earlier!! I love your site, you always have such good information here. We read here alot!! Just wanted to apologize to you for the disruption!!

  6. lori just because someone questions fsp financials that doesnt mean they are trolls, nor that they arent pro stacy? what does pro stacy mean anyway. i think everyone wants her found. as far as bb i have posted with him on a few boards. hes always the same BB. i remember you coming to a certain board crying that the cops were at your house over all this. & i still dont get why you have meth ingredients on your site.

  7. lorie, lorie, lorie………………when will you learn?

Being an alarmist who thrives on drama and chaos, you are really showing just how pathetic your mundane little life has become.

What is wrong? Annie blocked you from messenger? hmmmm………………… maybe she is afraid you will get bored and report her to the BBPD and FBI like you have done to so many others.

So, let’s see……………..just off the top of my head I believe you you and your sick conspiracy theorist self have so far reported BB, Cranky, and heaven only knows who else to LE and FBI. And then there is this recent turn of events that led you to turn Snickers, Justamom, Dottyrambo, and there is another name that I do not remember off the top of my head along with “others” to LE and FBI because you are afraid of them?? LOL! Why? Were they not nice to you? Or maybe they just saw through you and decided you are nothing? Karma? Yea, it always has a way of coming back to bite you!

This is not some little social sorority for the pathetic. It is called the REAL WORLD. One where going around accusing people of Federal Crimes because you are lonely and need attention is wrong. In fact, I am not sure if you are aware of this but it is against the law!

I believe that it is called “LIBEL” because it is actually written word and not just a verbal attack on those people’s character. Not sure if you realize this hun, but when you put something on the internet you are sending it out to the world.

Just a little FYI to you. What goes around comes around and you should probably think about that.

  8. I know first hand that Lori/Feistyone posts personal information such as place of work, home address, etc. Must say, I’m not a fan.

  9. Here’s some of my thoughts with regards to Kathleen’s info that was posted:

DP was the ONLY officer on the scene? Not sure I believe that. Usually with a death investigation, especially that of a former wife of a BPD, there is more than one officer needed to secure the scene. Not to mention DP was “off duty” at that time. Protocol dictates that when 911 is called an officer also responds.

  10. lorie, you still have not taken anyones advice.

btw, Sharon does not know lorie. Lorie told everyone she is a friend of Cass. She also told us the FBI was questioning her.

Could be because she and tigger’s “hackers” had sent all out IP info to the cops to waste their time, just like Annie did.

Oh brother, there are some strange people on the net.

Maybe the meth explains a lot. Who knows.

  11. RE: DP storing his bike in WI. The garage looked somewhat full to me. I know it’s common for many people to store their motorcycles, boats, wave-runners in barns. Many farmers make money over the winter months by allowing people to do this.

Perhaps DP’s friend in WI had ample space to do so? Was it common for him to store his bike there in past seasons?

  12. If ISP got the phone records in Nov. from Stacy and Drew the weekend of Kathleens death and still have not named an official suspect in Kathleens death. That tells me those phone records don’t back up what Stacy told the pastor. Also the water useage that they looked into must not have backed up what Stacy told the Pastor.
If both of those did back up what Stacy told the pastor then I’m pretty sure LE would at the very least name Drew a suspect in her death.
Sounds like LE doesn’t have doodoo after all this time, they have not released not one fact nor have they made an arrests.
So far all the evidence is internet fantasy!! IMO
speaking of internet fantasy WTF is up with this lorie/fiesty chick coming on her inviting people to her board then denying them and all this other bullhockey she is going on about??
    another fruitcake?? seems like it.
oh and to all those that complained over and over again about posters wanting to discuss FSP, hehehe same to ya concerning your new obsession with Joel at his new posting home!!
you are what you eat!! yummie!!

  13. Does anyone honestly believe that ISP was able to look at water usage for the weekend in question concerning Kathleen’s death? Personally, I don’t think the water system is that sophisticated especially since the amount of water it would take to run a small load of clothes would not make a large jump in water usage. I think that was all internet rumor as well.

  14. itssal // May 19, 2008 at 10:29 am

    ########################

Probably not, but no more than I believe SP grabbed a bikini, $25,000, and took off for the beaches. Lots of fantasy in this story.

  15. rescueapet // May 19, 2008 at 10:43 am

    ********************

So should I assume you are also of the opinion that her body was not strapped to the back of a motorcyle, drug through a hole in the fence and then manuevered through nooks and crannies deep into a mine. Or better yet, you most likely don’t believe that she’s been in the garage this whole time waving out waiting for someone to notice her?

Sorry, I just couldn’t resist. Some of the theories that have been passed around have given me lots of good laughs. 🙂

  16. no I don’t believe they can look at water usage at that level. You are talking pinning it down to a load of laundry in the middle of the night.
My question is why would drew bring back evidence in his house and wash it?? That makes no sense burn it, but Stacy needing to wash her clothes makes lots of sense.

  17. Who lived with Drew and Stacy when Kathleen was killed.
Wasn’t that when Yelton was living out back in the trailer/rv??
yelton now that’s a real piece of work. wonder if they checked his phone records and Cassandra’s also for the weekend of Kathleen’s death.

  18. Itssal, the only thing I haven’t heard is that UFO’s probably abducted Stacy and the man she supposedly ran off with. It’s unbelievable the imaginations some people have regarding this case, huh?

  19. Don’t know who Yelton is, and don’t believe anyone other that DP killed both women. Haven’t seen otherwise. Haven’t seen anything that would clear his name either.

  20. The water usage theory is a little farfetched too. Most meters are only read once a month aren’t they? How could a single day be picked out of a month’s worth of usage? Someone knows a lot more about that than I do if that’s the case. Sharon even stated that the pictures in her windows are for anyone who comes by the read her meters, so I would guess that would include her water meter as well.

  21. They had all kinds of people living with them, didn’t they? Steve Peterson lived with them also. He’s not exactly gold too many gold stars next to his name. But, then again, DP has a tendency to drag down a lot of people with him, whether their his street friends, his son, his wife, his stepbrother.

The saying, I believe, is ~ I go, you go.

  22. Good afternoon everyone. New to this blog as a poster, usually only read. I try to make my way around to several of th boards about this case. IMO, I have to agree that DP sure looks guilty. I wish something would happen, I get anxious! I imagine LE is trying to get as much evidence as possible before charges come.

  23. so rescue what evidence do you have? I have yet to see any evidence that could be used in a court of law against drew except hearsay and rumor. that won’t fly in a court of law.
soo I say look at all players in this case. but LE might be like you considering IL has one of the highest rates in the country for convicting the innocent.

  24. I believe he’s in prison on a parole violation. Think he was also convicted on sex abuse (rape maybe) of a 15 years old when he was 25. You haven’t read anything of this anywhere?

  25. TY, cfs7360, nice to be here. With nothing happening with this case, and since I’m now addicted to blogs, I keep having to join where I see discussions going on. LOL

  26. Rescue, Eric was also living with them, and it was supposedly he, not Stephen, who gave Stacy a hard time, and fell out with his father when he married Stacy.

  27. just stating mine also and why such drama can’t you take discussing more than just your opinion?
obviously you don’t even know all the players in this drama, but down the defensive wall and learn something instead of what has been spoon feed to you with bias.
You have a great day also!

  28. Has anyone heard anything about the searches that were to be held this weekend? I can’t find any news on it, so far, so perhaps nothing good came from it.

  29. I state an opinion you don’t like, I set it out there stating I see where this is going, you liken me to LE and their high rate of nailing innocent people, I’m defensive, and I need to learn something instead of being spoon fed, and I’m being dramatic?

  30. freedom08 // May 19, 2008 at 10:57 am

My question is why would drew bring back evidence in his house and wash it?? That makes no sense burn it, but Stacy needing to wash her clothes makes lots of sense.

    ***************************

    Freedom,

You bring up an excellent point. There was no urgency at that moment for him to dispose of his clothes. IF he did it, he was not intending for her body to be found until much later. So why the need to come inside and risk someone hearing you washing clothes in the wee hours of the morning?

Furthermore, he was a police officer. Let’s give him a little credit and assume from he learned something about evidence gathering in all his years on the force. I would think that even washing a blood stain would not permanently get rid of it.

Or why not come home, change and then hide the clothing until it can be permanently disposed of later. If anyone was washing clothes at that time of night to get rid of crime scene evidence, then I would assume they no nothing about forensics, crime scene investigation, etc.

  31. Freedom, I don’t think ANYONE has seen any evidence because LE hasn’t released anything. Doesn’t mean they are completely empty handed. We’ll all finally know when the GJ is finished if there is enough evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, to make an arrest. Nothing anybody says means a hill of beans until the GJ concludes.

  33. Eric isn’t a convicted felon either.

I also don’t blame him for being upset with his father for taking up with Stacy. I also can see why Eric would not be so nice to her.
If I was Eric I would probably considered Stacy a home wrecker and someone his father should have stayed far away from.

  34. Sorry I don’t know why that double posted.

Somebody please tell me that this is just a crazy internet rumor……I just read on another forum that people now want to get married in front of Stacy’s garden on Sharon’s front law.

Somebody, anybody please tell me this is not true. If it is true, then this story just went to whole new level of Jerry Springer.

  35. That rumor’s a new one on me, but I haven ‘t been too many places yet today.
I can imagine that there are some people who would do that.

  36. Izzy, you and Freedom may have a point, but IF Drew did kill Kathleen and came home with dirty clothes (and there couldn’t have been too much blood on them from a small gash in her head) how was he to know WHEN anybody would try to get in touch with Kathleen and have the police come to check on her. I really think he was hoping for Kathleen’s boyfriend to find her and have the focus on him instead. But then, he lucked out when it was declared an accident.

  37. itsal, I think what Stacy told the pastor was that Drew was washing women’s clothes.
Also it’s said over and over again Drew could kill someone with his bear hands very quickly. Why then would he beat the crap out of kathleen and bruise her if he was trying to make it appear as an accident. If kathleen go into a physical fight with someone the night she was killed my guess would be it wasn’t Drew. He could have just rendered her unconsious in a heartbeat then drowned her.

Oh please tell me it’s a rumor, marry infront of the sharon shrine. good lord what is next in this saga. hell the more these so called friends and family of stacy’s put on this show the more I wonder did she run far away from all these idiots, including drew.

  38. I think it’s just a distasteful rumor someone started in jest about two FSP members. Been going on for days now…..

  39. Stephen is a law enforcement officer.
Yelton is a convicted child predator.

    I see a big difference!!
    **************************

If you look at Drew Peterson, you won’t!

    Ba-Dum-TISSSH!

Sorry, thought I’d enter with a bang.

  40. Freedom, the pastor said Drew was also washing HIS clothes, which I believe were said to be his dark swat clothes.

  41. cfs7360 // May 19, 2008 at 11:33 am

    *************************

cfs – that’s a great point!!! Maybe DP meant for her death to look like a homicide, what with knowing the boyfriend had access to the house, and now coming out by having Brodsky say they had broken up.

Wasn’t he surprised that they ruled it an accident then??????

According to Glagow, he claims as soon as they looked at the “crime scene” photos, it looked like a staged scene.

    Hmmm, very interesting idea!!!

  42. No matter whose clothes were being washed in the middle of the night. That move IF it did happen was just plain dumb. The noise of the washing machine alone would wake up someone, maybe even the kids….someone was gonna ask…”why are you washing clothes after midnight?”

  43. Actually, isn’t it LE’s theory that DP wanted to put the focus of attention on the male nurse that had been texting back and forth with Stacy, so they’d look at him as a suspect in her disappearance? Obviously, DP would want him to be a focus in case her body was found.

So, with all of the inept police work done on the KS death investigation, it’s not far fetched at all that he would have pointed his finger at KS’s boyfriend if things didn’t pan out the way he meant for them to. Obviously, he had to clean up the place so he’d hide any traces of him being there, but, if she was murdered by “another,” so would the killer do the same.

At the time of her death, his only concern was to clean up “his” evidence and get out of there, and make sure he had an alibi. What did he have to lose if her death was ruled a homicide, come to think of it? As long as he was “home in bed,” he was off the hook.

  44. cls yes I agree LE hasn’t released any evidence nor have they made an arrest nor have they declared drew a suspect in kathleens death.
So maybe they do have something and maybe they don’t. But the fact that a will county congressman is trying to get a hearsay bill passed so they can convict drew is telling that they don’t have much more than hearsay and also the fact that ISP had to resort to underhandely revoking drews foid card all leads to the simple conclusion that LE case is very weak. I’ll bet they extend the GJ investigation to wait on the hearsay law being passed.
or LE is looking in other directions besides drew but want the masses to focus on drew so.
    who knows

  45. He usually got off at 4:00 in the morning, and the kids’ bedrooms are all upstairs I believe, so they probably wouldn’t have heard anything or were used to being awaked by sounds when he came home. You’re right Rescue, didn’t really matter whether it was declared a homicide or an accident as fas as Drew was concerned because he had an alibi, unfortunately.

  46. facsmiley // May 19, 2008 at 11:42 am

Stephen is a law enforcement officer.
Yelton is a convicted child predator.

    —-

ba-dum-tisssh?? big bang?? ok clue me in. So Drew is a convicted felon and so is Stephen?
Don’t think so but Yelton sure is and there are REAL FACTS to back it up.
more like entered with a big flop!!
    ching ching plop

  47. Freedom, I agree about the bill too. Since it passed in California, that other case went to verdict, and this one probably will too.

  48. Hey Freedom, no Drew isn’t a convicted felon….yet. But he is a borderline child molester, and also a policeman. I thought Facs was funny. Sorry you didn’t see the humor.

  49. lol borderline child molester now that is a good one!!
no I did not see the humor in Facs, I did see the intent to try and slam me or what is that called out here “back biting”
    lol

  50. Izzy, I can’t help but wonder about those phone records too. If they have them, they must feel like they aren’t strong enough evidence for an arrest, so it makes you wonder if they have them or not.

  51. cfs I don’t know if the hearsay law is going to pass at the supreme court level.
also in order to use the hearsay law regarding the pastor they first must prove that drew harmed stacy and that’s why she is not around.
it’s frustrating if LE has such a rock solid case then why no arrest? what are they waiting for?
so that tells me they don’t have a rock solid case and are grasping or they know where Stacy is.

  52. Freedom, I guess it all depends on politics whether it passes or not. It should also apply to the Savio murder as well, and there’s a LOT of hearsay involved in that. I may be speaking out of turn here, but that’s just my opinion. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but please do it nicely, lol.

  53. Freedom, this is just my opinion, but I don’t believe they know where Stacy is. I don’t think anybody but Drew does, and I don’t believe anyone will ever find her unless he admits to what he did and where he put her. He had too much time to do what he needed to before things started coming down on him. I mean, gosh, he just took off for three days!!

  54. Is hearsay allowed in murder cases in other states?

Just wondering about that. This push for a new law tells me they have next to nothing BUT hearsay for evidence. Which, correct me if I am wrong…

    Hearsay wouldn’t get a conviction with 12 jurors, I don’t think.

DP is going to walk, if he even gets to trial.

    Unless they find a body.

  55. it’s a tricky law, first you have to prove that drew harmed them and if you can’t do that without using hearsay then what?
I think the bill will pass, I don’t think it will stand up to the supreme court.
That a dangerous area, IMO there is nothing to back up much of the hearsay in this case regarding Stacy.
Kathleen is a different story she had much documented things with police reports, letter to the states attorney.
There is nothing documented that drew abused stacy or even threatended her life.
we shall see, I would just hope LE had more to go on than hearsay.

  56. cfs yes it’s very possible only drew knows where stacy is. but it’s very possible he doesn’t know.

amanda the only other state that has a hearsay law is CA and it’s pretty new. Hasn’t been supreme court tested yet.

  57. It’s Hip, it’s Happening, it’s NOW !

Here’s Lorie’s chance to be a star on the dance floor!

Come on down to my part of town and watch Lorie do the Hip Hop Dance.

She has a ” Multi-Groove” Board that is always jammed to capacity.

She also performs with Tiggers hottest Hip Hop Group, The FBI.

Dances included in this video are: The Sidewinder, Wavin’, FBI Stomp and more!

*You can buy this video at any local Forum or Blog.

    Good Bye
    Gene Gene
    The Dancing Machine

  58. Freedom, again I agree with you. That’s why I think they might try the Savio case first. If it’s proven that he killed Kathleen, then it will be easier to try to prove he killed Stacy as well. Just my opinion.

  59. I agree cfs, they have to try Kathleen first to use the hearsay law. Surely LE has some evidence so they don’t have to rely on a hearsay law????
but then again they still have not named a suspect in kathleen’s death and it’s been over 2 months since it was ruled a homicide.
this makes no sense to me if this is such a slam dunk drew is gulity of killing both wives and then some.

“intent to try and slam me”?

I can teach you the Electric Kick Motorcycle Jive.

    Good Bye

    The Dancing Machine

  62. As I stated earlier, none of this amounts to much other than voicing of opinions until the GJ concludes. That’s when we’ll all know where this is going, if anywhere. Sure will interesting to see how it all plays out.

  63. awe boohoo genegene, guess I’ll settle for the electric motorcycle kick

    noway are you sharon?? geesh

  64. I agree cfs it’s going to be pretty interesting once it does all play out if it ever does. there is a chance that the GJ doesn’t hand down an indictment and Stacy is never found.

  65. nope haven’t heard peep about any searches or outcomes.
obviously they didn’t find stacy if they did search

  66. I’m sorry, freedom08, but here were only three people mentioned in that post. If you’re not one of them, how could facsmiley have been slamming you?

  67. Did they search Dresden Dam? Does anyone know where the searches were taking place? FSP just notes where to meet.

Volunteer searches are resuming. Please meet at:

    Bolingbrook Aqutic Center
    200 Linsey Lane
    Bolingbrook, IL 60440

    Time: 9:00AM

  68. Cheena, no word from me either.

Freedom, that’s true, and is what I believe if Drew is NOT indicted. As I said, I truly don’t think Stacy will be found, unless Drew does confess to someone at some point. Even though on the surface it may not look as though LE or the GJ has enough evidence to issue an arrest, I hope there is so much more of which the public is unaware. If they conclude with nothing, then the civil suits will follow I would imagine.

  69. I do also doubt that Stacy’s remains will ever be found, or that Drew will ever admit to being involved.

But I do think that he’ll be charged in Kathleen’s murder. Time will tell, but I think it will happen.

  70. I wasn’t joking. I thought you were really one of the three and just wanted to know who. Guess I missed the joke too.

  71. cfs I agree and also hope LE has much more than what the public is aware of.
Everything about Kathleen’s death stinks down to the magic finding of the will.
I feel drew is involved in Kathleen’s death one way or another and also that others might be involved.
If he did kill stacy hopefully the body will be found.
I just don’t give drew the credit that others do. if he is infact a serial killer or even just a wife killer he’s not the sharpest tac in the box and will be convicted.
there are just way to many unanswered questions on both sides of the isle for me to do more then sit on the fence and wait for LE to show their hand. so far all LE is showing me is a bluff.

  72. Let me ask you this if any of your loved ones or you yourself were accused of a major criminal offense, would you hope that the state had more than he said/she said to go on?

  73. oh please noway you actually thought I was either drew, yelton or stephen? great imagination, I’m not even of the male species!

  74. What does Steve Carcerano do for a living? He was returning from work when Drew stopped him in the cul-de-sac (I think around 9) but Kathleen’s time of death was not until 11:17 p.m. or so.

  75. absolutely itssal and that’s why our justice system is set up so that you have to have some evidence to convict not just he said she said.
    my motto is
    there is
    her side
    his side
and then there is the truth

  76. Do any of you think that if DP is charged that he will get a fair trial? After the goings on at FSP and other internet forums, do you think that is possible?

  77. The problem here is that the “he” is still around to say … but the “she” is not. And all previous conversations with her would probably be considered hearsay.

  78. Noway – I think Kathleen lay dead for over 30 hours before she was discovered. Is that right? Not sure what Steve C did for a living at that point.

I have no doubt that DP can get a fair trial. As obsessed with the case as a lot of us are, there are plenty of people who don’t care at all, don’t follow the news, etc. DP was not a celebrity before Stacy disappeared and the story was reported. It’s not like trying to get a fair trial for OJ or Michael Jackson. I actually think that even they could get one. All it takes is jurors that are impartial and who can follow directions.

  79. nope he’s not going to get a fair trial. I say that because of some of the underhanded things I’m reading concerning LE.
A state investigator telling the 22yo LE is 100% positive he killed stacy and kathleen but yet they have not charged him???

  80. BTW, does anyone know if Summer is expected this year? It’s 58 degrees here and it’s making me cranky.

  81. freedom08 // May 19, 2008 at 1:39 pm

nope he’s not going to get a fair trial.
    ************

I guess someone will have to shoot him then.

OK, I’m kidding! But just pointing out that we can’t give up on the justice system just because of rumors we hear. Think of all the whacked out stuff we’ve heard about this case and the investigation.

On one end of the spectrum you’ve got Drew as a serial killer with 10 or more victims to his name – on the other you’ve got the Cales family as a troop of murdering trailer trash.

I prefer to stay level-headed as I can and to take anything that seems to have no factual basis with a big grain of salt.

  82. Itssal, it would kill me to know that my son or daughter did something so horrific. But if they were accused, and they told me they were innocent, and if I believed they were, I would hire the best lawyer I could find. If they were guilty, I would still do the same thing, and let justice make it’s mark. What else could you do?

Noway, her time of death is not when she actually died, but when she was declared dead by the coroner, or whomever.

Kimmer, I do think he can get a fair trial. There are thousands of people to go through for jury selection, and you know the attorneys are going to chose the ones least impartial to this case. There are lots of people totally unaware of all of the details of this case, so yes, I do. A lot of them could care less about it, and haven’t followed it at all.

  83. lol facs, I’m surprised someone hasn’t shoot him already!

I’m not giving up on the justice system at all, there are always appeals if needed to get to a higher court.
I just don’t have a good feeling about will county and the ISP they have way to much at stake and IMO lots of things to cover up especially concerning Kathleen. Remember ISP was the office in charge of kathleens death no bbpd.
so I feel that will all these big shots up for reelection in BB this case will make or break their careers and even if drew is innocent they want him charged and behind bars for the sake of their careers. IMO

  84. Yes, cfs, I know that the “time of death” was actually just whenever the EMTs or hospital declared her dead. But my point was that it was late at night, and I just wondered what Steve C. did for a living to be coming home from work at 9 p.m.

As far as Drew and a fair trial, there are lots of people who don’t blog and haven’t seen Drew and Joel on TV no matter how much they have tried to reach a greater audience.

Maybe that’s the plan? Be on TV as much as possible and then claim your client cannot get a fair trial because of it. Good luck with that. 😉

  85. I’m wondering whether coming home at 9 was a regular thing and Drew “planned” to accidently run into Steve or whether it was unusual for him to be coming home at 9 p.m.

  86. Freedom, with all due respect, Drew will be (if he actually is) convicted by a judge and jury, not law enforcement. They went a little overboard telling that girl those things, in my opinion.

  87. I wonder whether the Naperville officer who said that was reprimanded in any way.

I agree that he should have kept his opinion or that of his collective PD to himself.

Just give the girl her sign and move on.

  88. Seppy lost her password again, so I can have some quality time with you girls!

“Bolingbrook Aqutic Center” tried to go there last weekend, couldn’t find a place like this.
I asked Joel about this place at the Q&A thread and he said I need to wait for Sharon to get FoSP’s guys a spelling course with diplomas (from donation money of course)

  89. Noway, I’ve said that from the beginning about Brodsky over exposing Drew. I truly believe that’s part of his “plan” that he’s so proud of and that everyone is supposed to say how smart he is, and what a good lawyer he is when it’s all over. His “white noise” theory.

Don’t know about Steve’s occupation, and was he coming home from work? Don’t remember seeing that anywhere. He may have just been “out.” Who knows??

  90. Fascinating………..Brodsky needs a remedial spelling course as badly as anyone I’ve ever seen post on a blog!! Sound like “pot calling” to me.

  91. Yes Fac,

He told me that Sharon promissed him a spelling course too. She just wants to see the results with FoSP guys first.

If it’s true that they questioned her for two hours under threat of “if you don’t tell us, you’ll have to talk to the Grand Jury”, that’s pretty extreme. Who’s to say she won’t get called to GJ anyway?

I got the feeling that all the strong words about Peterson’s guilt were just an attempt to warn her away from him. If she’s really as ignorant as she sounds in her quotes, I guess I might be trying to frighten her as well. But yeah, it sounds like they overstepped their bounds professionally.

  94. But really … they’ve attempted to fix that spelling error several times.

    A-Q-U-A-T-I-C

    Say it with me.

  95. I know many people were calling for the badge of the officer that let DP off with only a warning for speeding.

My only thoughts on that were, if they were in the same position, would they have felt the officer should give them a ticket or just a warning.

My best guess is that what’s good for DP isn’t what most people would want others to treat them/their loved one like.

I think you meant to address this to cfs, but agreed, most people involved could use a spell checker before they post…including me.

  97. Kimmer, scroll up to the remark about the 22 year old.

Facs, I feel sure they were trying to scare some sense into her, but I was surprised to read they said what they said. I bet she’s called to the GJ as a result of all this. Actually, I read somewhere that they WERE going to call her, but I’ll have to find it.

  98. Forget the spell check. If the spirit your post makes it thru, it’s all good.

Picking on spelling gives ya a way to make an ass out of yourself. It’s like you’ve got nothing more intelligent to say, so let’s pick on some menial thing.

  99. kimmer’s right:

The young friend of Peterson said a state police investigator gave her an earful about what he thinks of Peterson’s involvement in the disappearance of Stacy and the death of Kathleen.

They’re like, ‘We’re 100 percent positive he killed them. His family thinks he killed them. You’re going to be next,'” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Then why isn’t he in jail?'”

above is what I am questioning. I was not aware that it was NPD that said this to her.

  102. cfs I understand that but all evidence comes from LE and we all know they can cover up for murder or even present evidence to convict the innocent.

  103. Seppy, nobody is posting here under the name “Seppy” … it’s just that fascinating can’t get over calling another poster by that name.

That poster was told by others that she should take it as a compliment.

  104. I believe the 22yo stated that a State Investigator said this to her. Possibly when her mother called them! lol

  105. “Picking on spelling gives ya a way to make an ass out of yourself. It’s like you’ve got nothing more intelligent to say, so let’s pick on some menial thing.”

You so right Kimmer! I need a course like this too.
My only problem was, i couldn’t find that place…

  106. I wonder if Brodsky’s “white noise” media saturation technique also includes disparaging every reporter who writes a story about his client. First he took Joe Hosey to task and accused him of fabrication and misquotes and now he’s saying the same about Mark Walberg at the Tribune.

He’s stating that the quotes from Reem Odeh where she questions Peterson’s media exposure and Brodsky’s goal of getting book deals are fabricated.

“…always remember, believe half of what you see and very little of what you read.”

I wonder if that includes his own blog quotes!

  107. Noway,

Thank you! I know no one is posting under the name (at least that I can find) but I did try to register with it and it’s already taken… so I tried to get the password thinking maybe I registered and didn’t remember, but it’s not registered to my email, so it’s not me.

I just don’t want someone, or rather, anyone getting confused. Wasn’t sure if it was some sort of dig, or someone just honestly believing, or trying to make others believe it was me.

    Have a great Monday!

  108. Wasn’t it Greta who told him to stop saying things that the prosecution can quote back to him (That’s just the kind of guy he is.”)?

And now: “…always remember, believe half of what you see and very little of what you read.”

You made an excellent point Kimmer. However, an attorney (Brodsky) who constantly and consistently spells later as LATTER, and diappeared as DISSAPPEARED, not to mention numerous other words, has a substantially more serious problem than a subpar typing skill.

  110. May I have your attention please?
May I have your attention please?
Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
I repeat, will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
We’re gonna have a problem here..

Will the real Seppy please stand up?

  111. Well, any attorney that has a potential double murderer as a client and is posting on blogs has more than his own spelling skills to worry about.

  112. watch it not even be Brodsky that’s posting on these blogs!
ha that would not surprise me at all!

  113. iamseppy – fascinatingtermsofservice has an obsession with calling basherette, who posts here, seppy. Just thought I’d clear that up for you.

Everyone, sooner or later, gets accused of being someone they’re not.

  114. But the way that board is handling it leaves a chance responses could be changed, so in my opinion the credibility his answers once had (as his truth) is not pretty much shot to heck.

  115. cfs, I actually am willing to cut Brodsky some slack over the spelling because his spelling is SO bad that I have to think there must be some sort of learning disability in effect there. I’m not being a smartass, either. I actually think that.

I mean, “perverable” instead of “proverbial”?

When it comes to calling Ric Mims a prostitute and the other name calling, I guess I’d like to think that he’s got a professional reason for doing that…but it’s not going down as easy.

  116. Facsmiley,

I am a member of a couple of forums actually.

You seem so familiar to me- and have as I was reading back- including the username, but I can’t put my finger on it.

Can you give me a hint? 🙂

  117. what a fool JB is to post on the blogs. he had the upper hand with just fsp posting but not anymore!

  118. facs, I worked as a editor/proofreader, and one of the vps of the company was always making up words … I mean he really thought that was the word. It was very had to guess what he was trying to say sometimes. 😉

And I think the official site for the family of the missing person should have everything spelled right on their pages.

The blogs … don’t care so much. 😉

  119. But as far as the impression of being an intelligent person … I don’t think Joel Brodsky has made it. IMO

  120. I really don’t think it makes one bit of difference what was posted on fsp. Those aren’t going to be the people on his jury. The people on his jury are going to be questioned by both sides, and neither will want someone who posted on fsp. That being said, what possibly could be on those posts that could make him a free man, should he be charged?

  121. Now, a legal advocate, one who has significant relevance to the defense of his client, looks mighty stupid to me to be posting on blogs. So, if he wants to bring up blogs himself, he better be prepared for what’s going to get thrown back at him.

  122. Facs, you may be right….hadn’t thought about a learning disability. But, the responses he makes to the other threads about other cases and newsreports were written very well with no spelling errors. Go figure! Maybe he proofed those better before posting since he was trying to impress the posters what a good attorney he is, and how well versed he is in the law

  123. I think he’s trying to get in good with the little people by making forced mistakes in his blogs.

He doesn’t want to come off as some high falutin’ lawyer . . . just a regular guy /gal like you and me.

(By the way- Freedom said that Kathleen obviously struggled and that is why it wasn’t Drew who killed her.. But Brodsky claims Kathleen didn’t struggle, which is proof that no one killed her. My head is spinning… Did she struggle or didn’t she?)

    I beg your pardon?

  130. I think, though, of all the silly remarks he’s come up with, one, in particular, that stands out for me is the one where he was trying to put DP in a favorable light after the 22 year old story came out.

Would anyone expect him to say that Drew helped calm down a nervous Caucasian woman involved in a traffic accident? NOOOOOOOO. So, why the pointless fact regarding her race in this instance? The fact that he helped an “African American” woman. That just is shows you what an idiot he is when he opens his mouth!

    What a putz.

    This is just my opinion!!!!!!!!!!

  131. Love that Seppy made it easy for me and went back to her old nic!
So no more talking to herself now.

“Basherette: I just donated $ 100 from Alaska for beautiful Stacy”
“Seppy: If that woman were smart she would have donated $10 ten times”

The only problem with 10 bucks is : doesn’t give you the right to question FoSP tax exempt status…

Wonder if $100 gives you this right? Seppy can you help me on this?

  132. What if it wasn’t a matter of race, but rather a matter of saying that for story verification purposes?

  133. I never gave much thought to the fact that someone would have to verify an instance where they helped to calm down a traffic victim. Wouldn’t it be verifiable if she were white also? What relevance does that have? I’m not seeing it that way at all.

  134. rescueapet // May 19, 2008 at 2:58 pm

As an aside, wasn’t Brodsky there to “verify” that Drew helped someone?
    +++++++++++++++
Oh, come on…in not so many words, you just got done saying you wouldn’t believe a word they say.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++

Do you think the woman he helped would have appreciated being singled out as Afro-American? It was just an insensitive remark, period!

  136. cfs – I think that Brodsky saw this whole thing as his saving grace. Notoriety, money, fame. Reading an interview of his one time, he told his wife, after seeing Drew beg for a new lawyer (he had a lawyer in the beginning), that he “could do this.” Could do what? Because what I’m seeing is what legal commentators see also – he’s got an out-of-control client that he can’t get to shut up, and he’s got a strange way of handling his defense.

  137. fascinatingtermsofdeservice,

While I suspect you need help, I’m afraid I can’t offer you any.

My grandmother used to say…whatever outcome you’re looking for…you’ll find.

The man could run into a burning building and save 180 orphans and most would still find something wrong with it.

  139. I wouldn’t find anything wrong with him running into a building and saving 180 orphans.

I’d find something wrong with the lawyer of the man pointing out the race of the 180 orphans, when, in all honestly, it has no relevance to the issue at hand.

  140. Kimmer, I didn’t say they were playing the race card, although someone, anyone might think that Drew helped this woman…..”even though” she was Afro-American, based on the way Brodsky said it. I don’t think they are playing the race card, but someone else might, especially if they were Afro-American. It was just inappropriately written or stated in my opinion.

Rescue, I read or heard the same interview, and I agree. Truthfully, I think he bit off way more than he can chew, and he’s scrambling anyway he can to try to build a defense, including blogging to get others’ opinions and state his own, with what he claims are facts. What Drew tells him, Brodsky relates and states as fact. Such as, Brodksy said there was never a visit with Tom Morphey the evening Stacy DISSAPEARED (sorry, couldn’t resist that). Drew said it, so it’s fact! Everything Drew says is fact!!! Drew disputes something, says it didn’t happen, Brodsky says it’s a fact….it didn’t happen! Brodsky is going to be hit with a whole bunch of other FACTS too if this goes to trial, and they’ll be coming from everybody but Drew.

  141. Well, they didn’t say that Drew helped a 22-year old Caucasian woman … so I see your point about mentioning that the woman was African American.

Maybe someone somewhere had accused Drew of being racist? I don’t know.

  142. truthisthere // May 19, 2008 at 3:13 pm

Kimmer, breast are like fingerprints with me.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Any particular reason you are sexually harassing me?

  143. cfs – the truth is Brodsky can’t control his client. Period. EVEN Brodsky, if he was worth his salt, wouldn’t have initially allowed him to continue yapping everywhere he goes. That’s basic law school, and any of us lay people can say we’ve learned that through watching legal analysis from attorneys on tv.

So, I think Brodsy figured if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. Thus, his explanation about the white noise crap he’s throwing out there, and how it got others out of guilty verdicts.

Funny, I don’t see Stebic and his attorney playing the same game, and he’s not half as hated and despised by the American public as DP is. DP is the one that made himself a national ass, and he’s only got himself to blame. Not the bloggers. Himself!

  144. Kimmer, I’m with Rescue on the burning building with 180 orphans. That’s my whole point! I think it would be wonderful if he was that brave, but then not turn around and let his attorney go into detail about what race the children were.

  145. noway406 // May 19, 2008 at 3:14 pm

  146. Oh my, wouldn’t that be funny if they moved on from Drew Peterson as Mr. Rogers (It’s a neighborly day in this beautywood, a neighborly day for a beauty – would you be mine?) to Drew Peterson as Rosa Parks?

After that I think we’ll see a media package with him fostering homeless kittens and suggesting the people neuter their pets.

Then maybe Joel is the one to blame…not DP.

And does anyone know if JB has even advised DP to keep his yap shut? Probably not, since it seems he’s tryingto proove his “white noise” theory.

  148. Precisely, cfs. Brodsky opens his mouth before he thinks about what comes out of it.

As far as Drew helping anyone, who her wouldn’t help someone in distress, given the same circumstances? I’ve seen strangers pull over and drag people out of a turned-over car, with a chance of explosion.

Sorry, but Brodsky’s analysis of his client’s integrity falls flat on its face. He’s no different and no better than the rest of us.

We just speak more intelligently than Brodsky does, though.

My point is, again, he tries to justify the actions of his client by saying he’s such a good guy, we just don’t know him. Sorry, but that’s not the way to show him as being a nice guy.

Yes, I think I did see something of this early on when DP hired him, about keeping quiet. In fact, if you’ll recall, when Brodsky appeared on the Today show again with DP, he did the talking and stopped DP from saying anything.

“Bolingbrook Aqutic Center” tried to go there last weekend, couldn’t find a place like this.
    __________________

It’s no wonder you can’t find the place, it’s

BOLINGBROOK RECREATION & AQUATIC COMPLEX (BRAC to the locals)
    200 S. Lindsey Lane
    Bolingbrook, IL 60440
(corner of Lily Cache and Lindsey Lanes)

Pretty bad that the organizers can’t get the name of the facility, or the street name posted properly if they expect people to show up. Or maybe it’s a test… if you can find the place, you are qualified to search for Stacy!

  169. rescueapet // May 19, 2008 at 4:13 pm

Can you share a little of it, amanda?
    *********************************

    What? The questions/responses?

I copy/pasted and made a thread if that’s what you mean.

  170. No. I think you can click my nic to find the place. But you have to register. We approve everyone. No polls, no seeing if you’re “good enough”.

We let you in, we let you talk, and you can say whatever it is you want. No barred words.

At the moment it is tame. It used to get rowdy.

  171. For the record, Joel Brodsky did not search for the “we speak our mind forum”. The admin of the forum sent Joel an invitation to join the board and told him he could have a place where he would not be attacked and still get to get DP’s side out.

  172. itssal – with all due respect, Brodsky has had six months to get DP’s side out. He’s been on every major news outlet there is – Today, Dateline, LKL, OTR, Nancy Grace, John Gibson. Where has Brodsky and Peterson ever been denied “their side.” All of the United States of America knows everything about him, Stacy, her family, his family, many friends, and on and on. They know she suffered divorce dreams due to her menstrual cycle.

That was just another way for him to get a forum for the time being, because there’s nothing left for him to say on tv. Right?

  173. People may think it’s weird that Joel is posting on an internet forum. But with today’s cyber world, it’s almost as if he is getting a preliminary at polling potential jurors. He can come here or any other forum and read, ask questions, asnwer questions and get a sense of what men/women, older/younger, etc. feel about the case. Then IF it ever goes to trial he has a better understanding of the types of people he wants in the box. Some of you call it silly, I call it using every avenue possible to insure you are giving your client the best defense possible.

  174. I don’t think your explanation is “silly” at all. In fact, you’re probably right on the mark.

What I do think is he is specifically zeroing in on people who actually agree with him, and he wants to know how they got to that place.

He knows most people have a negative opinion of his client, and he knows why, probably. It’s from the way DP has portrayed himself on the news, tv, what he says, and everyone he slices and dices along the way.

He wants to hear from the ones who think Stacy got what she deserved, she is “no saint,” or think that he’s getting a raw deal. Because the more he hears from people like this, the more he will get that line out there.

For example, all of a sudden he’s suggesting KS’s bf get a lawyer and take the Fifth at the GJ. Where did that come from? I hardly believe he came up with that idea himself. He probably got it from a blogger. I truly believe that.

So, yes, he’s getting what he wants out of it.

  175. Amanda unless you have changed things there that isnt so….I was banned from there only because I didnt post I guess…went to sign up and it tells me I was banned

  176. I doubted it being him due to his spelling but I see where some talked to him personally. He needs to go for grammar lessons

  177. Itssal, I can see where you’re coming from, but I don’t any attorney on either side will be interested in a juror that has as much knowledge about this case, and preformed conclusions, as all of these bloggers do. I bet that will be one of the questions asked of potential jurors……have you ever been on a blog, forum, or any website where this case has been discussd and debated????

  178. To think, Brodsky is blogging and asking for help with ideas to help with his client’s defense, and reasons to find him not-guilty, if he’s charged and tried.

I never really gave it much thought, thinking, also, that he is a goof for doing it, but getting feedback from people who buy into his theories must be quite interesting, in fact, to him!

  179. itssal :
He can come here or any other forum and read, ask questions, asnwer questions and get a sense of what men/women, older/younger, etc. feel about the case.
    ******************

How would he possibly get stats on gender or age by blogging on a forum? For the most part it’s completely anonymous. For all he knows he’s talking only to two fifteen-year old boys who are posting under a variety of nicks.

Secondly, by agreeing to blog only on a forum where he is guaranteed an easy ride and no hard questions, how is he possibly getting feedback from a cross section of people? He’s preaching to the converted there.

  180. The one thing I’ve noticed Brodsky doing without success is asking for information about FSP. Now, if it’s FSP info he wants, he’s REALLY blogging on the wrong board.

  181. Beans, I was right. I *did* go to hell for asking JB the “Bop” question.

    Just flew back.

    Boy, are my arms tired…

  182. Rescue, I hadn’t thought of that angle, but I see your point. By talking to people who have a positive view of Drew, he can find out how they got there and try to use it. Interesting.

  183. I’m new here……..first post, but have followed this case from day one on several different forums.

There’s been discussion on why DP hasn’t been arrested yet.

I have a question perhaps someone here might be able to answer in regards to legal procedure in Illinois.

Some states, Texas for example, can only indict for a major crime (homicide) through a grand jury indictment. The county district attorney presents the case to the grand jury and they, not the DA, decide whether or not to indict.

Is it possible that LE has to wait for an indictment by the grand jury before they can arrest DP?

  184. cfs – agreed about the bloggers and intense case followers. But, I can now see that there is, yes, a method to his madness. Trying to get feedback from people as to how they came over to his side. That’s what’s important to him. He KNOWS how people came to the conclusions that he is, in all likelihood, guilty in the deaths of his two wives. It’s the other ones that he needs to pick apart and analyze. Of course, with the way he talks and writes, that is going to be a mammoth endeavor!

What he is doing, though, is putting all of his eggs in one basket. Saturating the media with his client (and himself), blogging, public relations. Either it’s going to work, or they’re all going down the tubes, Brodsky included!

  185. “Amanda unless you have changed things there that isnt so….I was banned from there only because I didnt post I guess…”

So you ended up so low, too! What was wrong with the poster being “nonproductive”/lurker?

Nazi camp …. you call it “forum”!

  186. By the power of Godwin’s law I now declare fascinatingtermsofdeservice offically the loser of today’s thread.

    We win!

  187. Let’s take Stacy’s case, for example. I’ve seen bloggers here who don’t have a kind word for her, just as many of us don’t have a kind word for Peterson. I don’t like Peterson, I don’t believe anything he says, and I can think of a few reasons he would need to get Stacy out of his life, permanently. I came to my conclusions solely by the way he has presented himself for six months.

How did the bloggers who can’t stand Stacy get to that point? Without her uttering one word. On one hand, I see her as just another victim of the man’s sorted life, being 17 when he “found” her, and her not having enough common sense to punch her way out of a paper bag, let alone be confronted with a murder cover-up. How does one get to the point of such distaste for her that they drag her and her family through the proverbial mud?

    I’m just asking.

  188. Rescue, I saw your post after I made mine, you made a very good point. However, from what I’ve read on there, he’s only answering their questions and not picking their brains about how or why they think or believe as they do. They may come at some point, but right now, he’s just answering fairly simple questions with no further elaboration from either side. Will be interesting to see if he pursues the question answering with a little more depth.

  189. The concept appears to have entered the public consciousness more broadly, as well. In 2005, the aphorism was the subject of a question in the British television quiz show University Challenge. By 2007, The Economist had declared that “a good rule in most discussions is that the first person to call the other a Nazi automatically loses the argument.” And in October 2007, the “Last Page” columnist in The Smithsonian stated that when an adversary uses an inappropriate Hitler or Nazi comparison, “you have only to say ‘Godwin’s Law’ and a trapdoor falls open, plunging your rival into a pool of hungry crocodiles.”

  190. Bash, I apologize on behalf of Mr. Fascinating here, not that you need me to, but I know how you hate such words. Welcome back from Hell! We’ve missed you today. It’s been very lively!!

  191. facsmiley – to be honest, I’m not sure I’d get a straight answer from Brodsky. It’s not a question he can use as a springboard to promote his client’s interests. But, I might give it a try just to see what his response would be.

  192. Molly, I’m not from Illinois, but it appears that is exactly what’s happening….waiting on the GJ to conclude to see if an arrest can/will or can’t/won’t be made.

  193. fascinating – Why do you sign on here merely to get reactions from people by your choice of words? You’re not here to blog, you merely come on here to stir up discord. Is that a personal issue with you that gives you satisfaction?

  194. At this point, I don’t think there’s actually any value in reading Brodsky’s Q&A on the SYM board. The questions that get through to him are now being handpicked by a ‘moderator’.

Good luck getting an answer to anything in the least bit revealing.

  195. Hell, my grandparents survived worse than anything some schmuck could toss in my general direction here…

    So…

Neiner, neiner, you’re a weiner, seppyfreak!

    WE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Plblbbbsssttststttttttttttt!!!!!

  196. Honestly, I have NO idea if the fella over at SYM is really JB, but if itIS, then I’m not about to let an opportunity like this slip through my keyboard. I’m asking questions, and so far, I’ve gotten 2 answered, 1 about to be, and a plethora of new ones just waiting for a new day.

Not to happy about the 10 a day thing, but it sure beats zero a day!!!

  197. I really couldn’t help the “Bop” question- I think just being surrounded by autopsy reports, my MD “paperweights”, the late hour and too much unsubstantiated bs just finally got to me and I needed a moment of levity.

Personally, I am kind of disappointed he didn’t answer it too.

The trip to hell was nice though- bit warm, but no snow there! Woo hoo!!!!

  198. cfs7360 – I expect that’s the case too.

I followed a murder in Texas in which the defendant was arrested for bludgeoning another man to death. The defendant confessed to the crime. He was held in jail until a relative posted bail. I wondered why the district attorney didn’t indict the defendant for murder.

I found a citizens guide to criminal procedure for the state of Texas, and learned that in cases of a major crime, only a grand jury could indict.

In that case, the grand jury only met for a few hours before they handed down an indictment.

I’ve looked online for a similar citizens guide for Illinois, but haven’t found one.

From all I’ve seen in this case, I suspect that Illinois may have a similar procedure for indictments.

Amanda unless you have changed things there that isnt so….I was banned from there only because I didnt post I guess…went to sign up and it tells me I was banned
    ******************************

We have rarely banned, but try again if you want to. Without knowing the nic, I wouldn’t be able to guess why.

Most who left deleted their own accounts.

  200. I am a moderator at SYM and I can assure that as long as the question is not rude or demeaning it will get passed on to be asked. JB was offered the 10 questions a day idea so that he would not become overwhelmed with questions and things would be more organized. If you have posted a question there, as long as he continues to answer, it will get posted. However, if you ask multiple questions, we are only allowing one question at a time to give everyone a fair chance at asking a question. He is not being coddled at SYM. We are simply asking that if people are going to ask him for information that they do so in a respectful manner.

  201. Ok, so the water utility company in BB isn’t the same kind of operation as the one where I live.

    Bummer.

  202. Nah, I think it was me this time bash. We were called hitler because some members expressed dismay over fascinatingtermsofdeservice calling SP a prostitute.

Whuch, btw, could have all been worked out, but…. oh well, it’s done.

  203. I believe it was Eric Peterson that was living with Stacy and DiP when Kathleen was killed. Shortly after her death, he moved out, and has kept in contact only with Stephen ever since.

  204. Not a myth- it’s the system they use here, and where my grandmum lives in the lower 48. That’s why I brought it up when someone mentioned the pasotr said Stacy saw DiP doing laundry in the middle of the night. I didn’t realize that BB didn’t have the same ops. So, basically, it was just an idea that petered out. No worries.

  205. “cfs7360 // May 19, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Mr. Fascinating, your choice of wording is offensive to some on here. Please refrain if you will.”

A well-known place where people were “forced to produce” is a Nazi camp. It’s part of the world history and is well used by all to exemplify forced labor. I found it odd that exactly someone that portrays herself/her family as a victim of those times finds it offensive the use of that word. Using that word we keep the history alive. What do you want seppy? You want us to forget the word? “A history that is forgotten is deemed to be repeated”
Cfs find me another word for Nazi and I’ll gladly replace it from my vocabulary. BTW, there are other “holocausts” that happened since the WWII and we, the survivors don’t come over forums showing off our “wounds” to get cheap sympathy nor do we get fricked out when people use words related to it.

  206. ” rescueapet // May 19, 2008 at 5:08 pm
fascinating – Why do you sign on here merely to get reactions from people by your choice of words? You’re not here to blog, you merely come on here to stir up discord. Is that a personal issue with you that gives you satisfaction?”

I sign here because I saw a bunch of people, things can be discussed with. Yes, I believe that Kathleen Savio is a great subject to discuss as we all (fsp and non-fsp members) agree on the subject.
I am surprised to find out here that people that were abused at some forums became abusers themselves.
To discriminate members by the number of posts is an abuse in itself.

  207. Sorry itssal, I didn’t mean to be insulting with the ‘handpicking’ the questions statement.

I assumed that since they were being sorted through that some sort of criteria was being used for which ones he answered. You sound like you are being very fair.

  208. I’m NOT “seppy”, you pernicious snit. Deal with the loss.

And, being proud of my heritage and ancestors has *NOTHING* to do with the fact that I DO NOT LIKE PEOPLE HURLING THE WORDS “NAZI” and “HITLER” AROUND LIKE THEY’RE PLAYNG SOME KIND OF FUCKED UP DODGE BALL GAME FROM HELL.

  210. amandareckonwith // May 19, 2008 at 5:50 pm

No, I am pretty sure that water usage thing was a myth.

    **********************

I agree it was far-fetched and probably a myth, but it’s one of those tidbits that Sneed from the Chicago Sun Times had in her column. So, that’s where that first came from, because I was one of the first to pick up on it being in her column.

  211. You mean someone else thought about the water thing too? I didn’t know that. Now I feel dumb. I should have read your local papers more…

  212. Is anyone familiar with Rebekah Price? There’s a lot of stuff in her article from today that I have never heard. Like, the 13-year old had a lot of anger and didn’t trust him to watch the younger kids, the teens have basement bedrooms while the younger kids sleep upstairs, Stacy showed Sharon a dent on the TV where Drew had thrown her against it, etc,.

    http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/62238

  213. thanks for the link, facsmiley. That was interesting.

Basherette. This is the same columnist, (Ms) Michael Sneed, that first let out that Stacy had talked to Pastor Schori about KS.

She published a tidbit back in Dec, I think, that LE was looking into water usage at the DP home on the night Kathleen was found dead.

  214. Haven’t seen that one yet, Facsmiley- thanks!

Yes, I knew the teen boys had their bedrooms in the basement, because of the filmed “Day in the Life” walk-thru show of the home DiP did.

I think the only reason I remember it is because of the computers comment he made. I was surprised that he allowed his teen sons private access to the internet via their own personal computers. Not very impressive or protective to me as a mum.

I figured the wee ones were upstairs simply because that’s where the master bedroom was, and it would be easier for mum to monitor the youngsters at night.

Ok, off to read it now…

  215. Basherette – With all the spy gadgets and satellites out there, I’m sure Mr. Man can even tell what time of the day you cut your toe nails!

    WTF is going on here?
Its ashame some people dont know how to play!

  217. Oh, who cares. Anyhoo, I read the AC article. More like an OP/ED piece than a “news” article- but then again, there IS no “new” news to break.

Thanks for the link, Facsmiley! It definitely took my mind off the autopsy for a while!

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Facs, great article.
Bash, I think only Tom’s bedroom is in the basement, and Kris’ is upstairs with Drew and the toddlers. At least that’s what the “Day in the Life” video shows. I had forgotten about Ton’s basement bedroom. Kris is also the one who supposedly heard his parents fighting when things all of sudden got quiet, so his bedroom may actually be very close to Drew’s.

  220. Yeah, the pieces I’ve seen written by her are interspered with published information and opinions, although it’s interesting reading.

  221. Basherette – you know when the Gatehouse police arrive, you’re going to go have to stand in the corner, right?

  222. Ah, ok, Cfs7360! I didn’t get to see the show- just read the transcripts.

The tv thing is- well, I dunno. Don’t remember Sharon ever saying anything about it before, so I wonder what source Ms. Price got that tidbit from. Not sure if I have heard about the angry teen stuff, but makes sense that they’d have a hard time adjusting after the death of their mum.

I dunno. I’m reserving judgment about this for now.

  223. Hold, I say, hold on thar, missus- I ALREADY went to the corner for that post!

I didn’t realize someone was gonna quote the sapsucker…
