Speaking of SYM, Joel is cross-posting this all over that site (terrible chat etiquette – oh well):

“Sorry, but as you know Drew was arrested today on a bogus weapons charge. I will try to get to the questions latter this evening. Please bear with me. “
    _______________
It would have been worse if he’d said “Please bare with me.” 😉 So I can live with “latter this evening.”

  2. What I did see and notice today is they, Drew, Joel and company have everything set in place.

Steven wrote the check for bail etc.

They are just waiting for the arrest, and I dont think it will be all that drama people are expecting. I’m sure proper papers are filed in regards to the kids care etc.

  3. foaming foaming foaming
    Ms. Nancy’s foaming foaming foaming

    good evening fellow posters!
    may I have this dance??

  4. Nancy loves to foam and cut people off. I can only take so much of her, and in very small doses. But I do think she does a good service for true victims of crime.

  5. Joel is young enough to have been taught Illinois’ wonderful Whole language program’s way to spell. All phonetics; they stopped teaching spelling at about 5th grade. They’ve had to roll back all the English 101 classes to 094 just to get kids to write complete sentences in junior college. Not his fault!

  6. yes she does truthbfree, I had never watched her or even heard of her until the Stacy Peterson Case!
    She’s kinda narcissistic also!! IMO

  7. Don’t forget, tomorrow the guardians are in family court. Setting up the trust etc? I wonder if the kids actually have to be there, or can be represented by the CAG.

  8. You know I have to say something about the spelling and grammar comments.

Not all people are born with the talent of it. I am one of them. Somehow I missed that whole gene in the gene pool of my family.

It doesnt however make someone uneducated.

Just like some dont have a knack for math, or history, its the same thing.

And attorney and others in the professional fields usually have people that do all this for them.

I understand that is it annoying to some, but it’s truly not the end of the world, nor does it show his intelligence.

  9. I agree Freedom…and she has gotten worse over the years.

But I will defend what she does for victims.

  10. I have Idol on and everytime they do the group singing and dancing all I can picture is the Brady Bunch….lol.

  11. true truth.
but still dang she’s one vicious woman and NEVER corrects her misquotes or misinformation!

  12. Sorry Truth, but I’ve sent 4 boys through school, and studied and give personality/intelligence tests, so I know there’s differences in intelligence types.
But I also know that in our state many were not given the opportunity to even learn it because of this whole language crap. My remark was about our school system; not intelligence.
    So don’t insult mine either.

  13. An arrest….excellent!!!! That makes me very, very proud.

Remember the old saying: “They that possess the massive bags under their eyes, are merely trying to hide a lifetime of guilt and sin”.

  14. COME ONE!! COME ALL!!!

  15. Wow…alrighty. I didn’t realize I was around such greatness.

Oh and I might add, this discussion about JB poor spelling and grammar has been going on for sometime now. So my comments weren’t really directed at you personally. But it’s cool, if you want to think they were.

    Wow…alrighty. I didn’t realize I was around such greatness.
    ###############################

I won’t even sink to that level thanks. Id better get back up in the clouds (your last sweet comment).

Time to leave the bully board. BBL

  17. I smell a perp walk. Come on FBI and ISP, let’s make it happen!

Life in prison for Drew Peterson. This is, in fact, a great day!

  18. I wonder if Gene/Gene is watching Idol.

Donna Summers is on, I would think that would be something he would dig.

  19. What’s Brodsky going to say now.

Drew Peterson was issued guns by the BB Police Dept and they got their guns back. This was his own gun.

It’s illegal, but, yet, they’re petitioning to get it back. Sounds like he’s in the trick bag now. Why is he trying to get back an illegal gun?

  20. LOL, what a joke. When Brodsky goes into Court tomorrow about Drew’s son getting his guns, how is he going to explain why he needs back an illegal gun???????

  21. Pam Bosco is a superb spokesperson. I hope she is still involved when the jury returns a double murder conviction for Drew Peterson. I would definitely like to hear her response.

  22. via phone for sharon!

I had to turn it off can’t take NG’s voice gives me a head ache.

oh liz that was pretty uncalled for, bullies?

  23. oh they did say the BBPD said that was not a police issued weapon. He had two issued forget the names and both were turned back in.
    so we shall see

  24. Pam Bosco said the FBI never contacted the admins, and the forum part of the board was changed by them, not by anything Brodsky did. She said she couldn’t even answer if he did, in fact, contact the FBI. She was emphatic Brodsky had nothing to do with it, nor the FBI. I guess that’s easily verified. If Brodsky has the proof that the FBI followed through on any complaints he made, I’m sure he’ll be the first one to throw it out there.

Haven’t seen him do it yet. Just talks.

  25. Nancy Grace is awesome. She continually is focussed on the victims and their families.

People who don’t like her are typically those who stick up for murderers or others involved in serious crimes.

  26. I watched Nancy Grace and it was the usual blar dee blar blar but the only real take-away I got was that particular gun was not issued by the BBPD.

  27. I didn’t see anything about Sharon on there. Only Pam Bosco, who absolutely wants the public to know Peterson and Brodsky had nothing to do with the forum change.

  28. AND Pam Bosco made sure to start out her interview by affirming that they had no idea tha Drew had ever contacted the FBI (if he in fact did) about the FSP forum, adn that the makeover had nothing to do with him or his lawyer.

  29. Did she explain why it was indeed shut down and why it took so darn long to finally do it?

And JB has never said it was because of him that it was shut down, it was speculation.

And they really havent shut the forum down, its still there, you just need an admin log in. Which I can almost bet you, most of the major posters have.

  30. letthetruth – I beg to differ. Even in the midst of the NG program, they reported the board was shut down due to complaints by DP and JB to the FBI of threats.

  31. Ok isnt it a bit odd though that Drew was arrested today, but Pam started out by talking about the forum.

Why would she care to get that out there. They have made their statement that they are taking it in an informational only format.

What did she say about the arrest?

  32. That Susan Moss was funny. What’s second prize in the “win a date with drew” contest? Two dates with Drew?

She reminds me of a dumpy Sandra Bernhard. Hysterical.

  33. JB was on NG tonight saying because he supposedly called the FBI thats why the board was shut down?

  34. letthetruthbefree // May 21, 2008 at 7:44 pm

Ok isnt it a bit odd though that Drew was arrested today, but Pam started out by talking about the forum.

    ***************

I believe she called in right after they reported that JB and DP were responsible for getting the board shut down.

I believe others were watching that shows? Agreed?

  35. I thought that JB took credit for FSP being shut down at the same time that it was reported that it was a decision by the family.

  36. Im sorry everyone, Im just getting confused thats all.

Not trying to start anything, just trying to figure out what was said.

I guess I should have just watched it.

  37. Yes, he took credit, it was reported that way on NG, and shortly thereafter Pam Bosco was on the phone to clarify it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  38. My guess is that it took more than 2 days for those changes to happen, so I believe them when they say the new look was in the works for some time.

  39. Ok I think Im getting it now. She called in, in response to something that was said about the forum?

  40. Yeah, Brodsky looks foolish Saying that gun was police issued, and BB is saying no way, Jose, we’ve got our gun back.

It was also shown that that gun had to be manually altered. It’s done so that it’s easily concealed. That’s the purpose of a short barrel.

But, Brodsky was going to go into Court tomorrow, on behalf of his client, and ask for a gun to be released that’s ILLEGAL.

    Good one, Brodsky.

  41. Just so Im clear. JB was on NG and said I was resp. for the forum being shut down, then Pam called in to correct that info?

And if they did know and were planning on shutting down the board to make changes, thats all cool and fine, but could they have not told those posters that had a lot of work history etc there? I feel badly for those that put a lot of their research etc there, only for it to be gone now…..:(

oh my apache your arrow missed!
please advise, I wanna keep in spirit of blog.

Is this one of those get the bug spray moments?
Or does this call for kryptonite?

  43. Normally Nancy Grace sort of bugs me, but she did make me laugh when she was asking,

Wah, WAH would you nee-ud and AYE ARE!?

  44. fascinatingtermsofdeservice // May 21, 2008 at 7:50 pm

Anyone knows why Julie in CA deleted all her posts?
    ______________
    She didn’t.

  45. I didn’t see JB on Nancy Grace at all, but then I tuned in 26 minutes into the hour. I don’t think he was on at all, tho.

  46. Yeah … I don’t know what was up with not letting anyone know their posts would be unavailable.

  47. letthetruthbefree // May 21, 2008 at 7:51 pm

Just so Im clear. JB was on NG and said I was resp. for the forum being shut down, then Pam called in to correct that info?
    ***************

No, JB was NOT on NG.

No! They merely reported that Joel Brodsky was responsible. Maybe that was their take on it, maybe that’s the way Brodsky played it up, I don’t know.

  48. You know how they say “his side, her side and somewhere in the middle is the truth” I think that might be the case with a lot of this stuff.

  49. Thanks Rescue. Yeah, Im blonde and was getting a bit confused, and its hard when so many are typing….lol.

  50. Maybe Joel was misquoted as saying he and Drew were responsible for shutting down FSP.

Personally, I think they finally took the advice of those people who told them how bad it really was.

  51. didn’t a caller bring up JB and FSP being shut down. Then someone on the panel responded that yes JB contacted the FBI about the threats and stalking, which btw are documented. Then I thought I heard sharon and it turns out it was Pam.
Which I agree Pam should be the only spokesperson for Stacy besides Cassandra.

  52. Maybe some of you can help me with another question that has bothered me for sometime now.

Early on with this case, it was stated that Cassandra had hired an attorney to basically watch over thing.

Whatever happened to this person? Why didnt he advise them better? Why havent we heard a word from him?

  53. I guess I came in at Pam’s rebuttal. I wondered why she said what she did instead of answering Nancy’s question. It makes sense now, Freedom.

  54. From FSP
5.14.08 – We have discontinued the FSP forum. Managing and maintaining the forum became too time consuming for all the volunteers involved. Those who were managing and moderating the forum are refocusing their time and energy more on the physical land and water searches for Stacy. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the forum. We just do not have the resources to continue to monitor the forum at this time.

  55. I thought Cass hired a personal defense attorney. Was there someone to advise on the web site as well?

  56. freedom08 // May 21, 2008 at 8:01 pm

well according to apache that’s a big fat LIE!
    _____________
    The closing of FSP?

    The AR gun?

  57. lug yes I agree it does make more sense now.
I just don’t know why they waited so long. They seized those weapons in Nov. surely it didn’t take them this long to realize it was illegal.

  58. If the electricity went off in Bolingbrook tonight, Joel Brodsky would take credit for it.

The only thing he is responsible for, is single-handedly ruining the defense for his client, the only suspect in the disappearance and presumed homicide of Stacy Peterson.

  59. Noway,
watching nancy grace and mike brooks talking about that gun drew had and showing pic’s of it an talking of it.

  60. cassandra did hire a criminal defense lawyer and it was report to ensure evidence concerning Stacy was preserved.
But later her public arrest records were posted and most figure that is why the lawyer was hired.
dk who advises about the website or anything else for that matter. My understanding is they are going at it along and are not utilizing any missing persons org. free help/advice.

  61. arrest drew I have no clue what you are talking about.
    sounds pretty juicy though.

of course anything drew is national news.

  62. I really do think that this gun arrest with Drew is not warranted. JMO. I want to see an arrest but not on something trivial.

  63. I am confused!

So apache58, are you saying that what is posted on FSP about the forublogsite being too much for volunteers is a big fat lie? Using freedom’s words there.

And arrestdrew, Lavanda was sent away last night after posting something similar to yours … so you might want to take a chill pill. Post it on Lavanda’s site.

  64. Noway. I’m taking that pill right now. Thanks.

Do everyone agree with this arrest? I don’t. I hope that they know what they are doing. It won’t look good if it doesn’t stick.

  65. Honestly, I don’t think law enforcement would have taken the time to pursue this if they thought it wouldn’t stick.

  66. I think it shows LE is getting desperate. Had they just got the gun well then yeah but 6 months later, nah looks like strong arm tatics of desperate lawmen and those up for re-election.

  67. a step in the right direction is evidence to put him behind bars for Stacy’s disappearance and Kathleen’s death.
this gun charge won’t do that. matter of fact IMO it makes LE look just as corrupt as when they ignored Kathleen’s death in the first place.

  68. I think this is just the prelude to the big arrest, the one that we all agree that we have wanted since 10/28/2007, the day Stacy was murdered by Drew Peterson.

  69. I just don’t want them to screw this up. Kathleen Savio deserves justice. I don’t want it to slip through her family’s fingers again.

  70. I am just wondering what Drew will tell Thom and Kris when it is finally revealed that Drew killed both of their monthers.

  71. And I just said Kathleen because I think that’s where they will go first.

I’m not saying that Stacy does not deserve justice; she does.

I don’t want Stacy’s family to go through what Kathleen’s family did, and I don’t want Kathleen’s family to have to go through it again.

  72. they might be in a pickle concerning Kathleen’s death. Drew and Stacy very well could be responsible for her death. At the very least if we believe the Pastor, stacy is an accomplish after the fact. Which with her missing I don’t see as an issue. But if she did happen to have a hand in Kathleens death and that has been discovered in the last 6 months I don’t know how LE would handle that.

  73. “Kimmer and Amanda, would you ever change her posts or anyone else’s posts?”

    Interesting question!
I know that during the time that there were just three Mods (Amanda, Kimmer, Mona) at Kimmer’s forum, one of the Mods made posts using one of the member’s account.
Practically that member was watching in disbelief how posts were “appearing” on the daily thread in his/her name.
So you go figure which one of these three are into this kind of “fun”!

  74. I think it was absolutely dreadful what Kathleen’s family went through. Her sisters were immediately suspicious of Drew of murdering her.

Upon learning of Kathleen’s death, one of the sisters said, in effect, “…did he do it? Did Drew kill her?”

It was not like a huge surprise, yet I don’t think the Savio family received the right amount of support after the misinformed coroner’s jury ruled her death an accident.

  75. You know, I am a nitpicker for spelling, but I’m willing to just let it go.

Could we collectively agree not to post again for our errors … because we all have them.

If there is something like a “not” that is missing, that clearly changes the meaning of your post, then yes, explain .

But if it’s something like “monthers” for “mothers” then let it go? (apache, I’m just using yours as an example because it is there).

And arrestdrew, if you didn’t have any chill pills, I’ve got some here … uh, I don’t know how I’d get ’em to you, but I’d have shared. 😀

  76. I agree on the spellin!

yes it’s very tragic that Kathleen was denied justice or that any victim is denied justice.
hopefully she will receive the justice she deserved years ago.
if Drew did kill stacy, hopefully it won’t take 4 years or more for justice to be served.

  77. I’ve been posting on borrowed time, but my kids demand my attention, and I’m more than willing to give it … so good night. If the little buggers wake me again tonight, I may be back in the wee hours.

  78. Ok Im still looking, I know I saw it somewhere. I can remember thinking it was odd because he was out of Washington DC.

  79. Fascinatingtermsofdeservice-you and quite a few others. Do you think that she will have the courage to respond? A simple answer to each question would be great, keeping the rants out of it.

Noway-very nice of you to share. Thanks. Is it illegal to mail them.

The news said that if he is convicted then he could lose his pension. Interesting. I believe that they did this because of the hearing tomorrow.

  80. arrestdrew, I can’t tell which one of them are doing/did this things but I can tell without fear , I know for sure this was done there!

  81. rescueapet // May 21, 2008 at 7:36 pm

    ********************************

I haven’t read this whole thread yet, but wanted to comment on this aspect.

Bolingbrook PD states that they have had returned to them, the two service weapons issued to Drew. The weapon that’s the focus of the weapons charge is owned by Drew and was not one he used on the job.

If this information is accurate, LE has just cause for arresting Drew on a weapons charge.

How can Joel spin this into a “bogus” charge?

  82. Ok I give up….I’m sure I’ll find it at some point in time, and then I’ll ask again.

  83. Fascinating-I don’t think that anyone changed Lavanda’s posts to send them out to others. It may have happened to others but I don’t believe that Kimmer and Amanda did this to Lavanda. Confirmation from Kimmer or Amanda would be great.

Molly-but why wait until today when they have had the guns for 6 months?

  84. yes why wait when they got this weapon Nov. 2 and could have used this to deny his pension and arrest him then. He didn’t turn his pension letter in until Nov. 12.

  85. arrestdrew, I know nothing about Lavonda’s posts.
I commented on a fact I know happened for sure . It is awful for a Mod to “use/abuse” his/her powers to do this. It makes your head spin and think what else has been done there?

  86. Greta read a statement from Bolingbrook Police Chief McCury, who stated that the gun in question was NOT authorized by or registered with the Bolingbrook PD.

A reporter is in front of Drew’s house and the alarm in Drews car started going off.

  87. Well I’ll be darned, Sharon made the news.

That women is something else, I tell you. She has never met a camera she didnt love.

  88. K – I just spit diet-lime-coke on my keboard.

Joel B is asking us to help him with his defense. This is what he would like to know.

Please understand that I in no way am interested in or soliciting your answers. I’m only pasting this here for your information.

Personally, he couldn’t pay me for my answers to these questions.
    …………………………………….

    (1) If there was a “no body” prosecution of Drew for the murder of Stacy, what would you consider to be the one essential piece of evidence you would need to convict, and without which you would acquit?

    (2) If Drew was charged with the murder of Kathleen Savio, and you believed her death was a homicide, and a lot of the so called hearsay statements were allowed into evidence, but the State could not produce any evidence that would put Drew inside Kathleen’s home at or near the time of her death would you convict him beyond a reasonable doubt.

  89. Lets light up the street in front of Drews because he was arrested and released within a couple of hours….the neighbors have to be loving this…NOT!!!!!

  90. I have to give him credit for the attempt, but I’m not sure he’s going to get a wide cross-section of opinion where he is posting.

  91. Drew is so juvenile. The comment when he left the police station and the alarm. He thinks that he’s funny. Well, he is not.

  92. Thankfully not everyone is on the convict Drew Peterson bandwagon. I for one am local, and could be called as a possible juror, and I know I not the only person around that is open to hearing all sides and then forming a decision.

  93. my answers

    1. without a body I would need a crime scene with dna evidence from stacy

    2. I would have reasonable doubt if the only evidence is hearsay, so no I could not give a yeah for conviction

  94. if the only evidence is hearsay then i would want each witness investigated for credibility before i took their word & convicted.

  95. This is Crazy!!! Greta is interviewing Sharon in her front yard. Drew has both of his cars in the driveway and has set the car alarms off if both cars as a means to interrupt the interview.

  96. I couldn’t even begin to answer those questions without seeing what was admitted into evidence and hearing testimony.

  97. How friggen funny is that. Poor Sharon, getting her 5 minutes of media time today upstaged by a honking horn…..lol.

  98. it is funny but I do feel sorry for Sharon. She’s letting drew get to her.

ah did drew set off the alarms or did the reporters set them off?

  99. As if the few here who don’t like Sharon are going to make a difference.

Drew looks like the ass, not Sharon. She may have p’eed off a few people on a blog or two, but she’s no match for likes of Drew.

On the contrary. Just look at the viewers’ comments on Greta’s blog. It speak volumes about Drew vs. Sharon. LOL.

Most people think is a psycho. He is.

  100. I think there’s a certain logic in why the police waited until today.

I think the powers that be are getting their ducks in a row for an indictment and an arrest within the next few weeks. They don’t want Drew armed or having ready access to weapons.

  101. Don’t get me wrong. I may think the car alarms are funny. I still think Drew killed two of his wives.

  102. Thats Greta’s blog…it’s pro Stacy Peterson, so I would expect no different.

They are two of a kind, and that is what I find so funny. She does something stupid, he does something stupid…and who wins…nobody, but it does create discussion and some laughter.

  103. I think Drew will be held responsible for the murder of Kathleen Savio since he had the motive and the means. I find it troubling that any person could have doubts about him murdering Kathleen.

For the case of the murder of Stacy Peterson, it will most likely be testimony from witnesses such as Tom Morphey, the neighbor who watched Drew and Tom load a container in the Denali, and the testimony of Cassandra and Drew’s discrepancies in his timeline for 10/28 and 10/29.

Of course, it is impossible to predict what a jury will decide. We all thought they would convict OJ Simpson, and he got away with double murder.

I am proud to say, though, that his life has been pure heck ever since. I hope the juries in the trials for the murders of Kathleen Savio and Stacy Peterson are better at their decision making.

  104. Oh he’ll be arrested I certain of that, but that doesnt mean a conviction.

But that will be one heck of a trial to follow, all the characters, and both sides beating everyone up…that will be good stuff to watch.

I beg your pardon? What do you mean?

  106. from what I understand the jury in OJ’s did their job it was the prosecution that did not do their job.
it was a real lesson in reality that what the media feeds us and what is actually presented as fact and evidence in a trial are two different things.

  107. Nobody will walk away from the witness stand at the Drew Peterson Trial without tons of bruised ego’s etc.

  108. Greta’s blog is pro-Stacy, letthetruth?

How many viewers do you think Greta’s show has? To say the blog is pro-Stacy is, in effect, saying MOST people think he’s a murderer, and a psycho. That about says it. That blog has a hell of a lot more people on it than this or any others out there. I don’t think anyone can dispute that.

If Dp would have killed Kathleen then he would have make sure when found she had no jewelry on and her hair tied up. This is the way KS always took her bath. She was found with her hair down and jewelry on. Who ever killed KS didn’t know these details. KS’ sister has disclosed these details and I found it hard to believe that dp went through his 10 years marriage with Kathy not noticing this.
IMO it was not dp who killed KS and it was not dp who “cleaned” the murder scene before they force-entered the house.

I actually like Greta, I prefer her to Nancy Grace anyday.

I just dont take anything written there, or anywhere else in blogs, or message boards as fact.

    Its that simple.

from what I understand the jury in OJ’s did their job it was the prosecution that did not do their job.
it was a real lesson in reality that what the media feeds us and what is actually presented as fact and evidence in a trial are two different things.
    ++++++++++++++++
I agree. I read a book, Beyond a reasonable doubt (i think that was the name) and it presented all the info the jury got to see. As guilty as I thought he was, I wouldn’t have been able to convict him based upon the evidence presented.

  114. hehehe I’m still laughing at the horn honking. classic guess he better mess with em while he can.
Even Greta understood why the horns were honking.

  115. Theoriginal, you talk about dirty laundry coming out in a trial…this one will be full of it.

In one respect Im anxious to watch it.

  116. Kimmer78 I saw a show along the same lines and think the name was the same as the book you are talking about.
Yes I could not have convicted him with the evidence the actually got to see.

Oh, rescue, believe me…been there done that and taken my share of the bridge people.

Fortunately or unfortunately, it’s made me more of a “put up or shut up” person than I EVER thought I’d be. I’ve never had anything to hide. I’ve had my name, phone numbers, property address, work location, you name it posted on the internet. What more can they do?

Here’s what I think the Bridge queen sosoa can do…PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

  119. I think all of the media coverage perpetuated by Joel Brodsky and Drew Peterson will be very damaging to their defense case. If they had kept their mouth shut, many in the public would not know Drew Peterson from anyone else.

To contrast, if Stebic came on the TV I wouldn’t recognize him. Their strategy of keeping out of the limelight will, I think, play more to their hand of reasonable doubt.

But Joel Brodsky has demonstrated ‘Unreasonable and Illogical bantering’ in an attempt to hide the guilty antics of his client, the sole suspect in the disappearance and presumed homicide of Stacy Peterson.

  120. funny when it came to OJ and even Scott Peterson no doubt in my mind GUILTY, no fence sitting at all.
I’m still on the fence concerning drew killing stacy or if she’s alive or dead and pretty sure he killed kathleen or had a hand in it.

Gosh, it was so long ago that I read it. May need to go to the garage and find that box of books it was in. I do think it had something to do with him and evidence he collected, etc…, evidence that was sealed, not let in…via Judge Ito.

  122. okay, kimmer, I just wanted to point that. His gig is getting real old, and I’m sick and tired of it. He picks and chooses his fights to disrupt this whole place.

Thus, my “bug” spray, for those that have seen me refer to that before.

  123. Gotta lighten things up a litte.

    MY LIVING WILL

Last night, a friend and I were sitting in the den and I said to her, ‘I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality of life at all. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.’

So she got up, unplugged the computer and threw out my wine.

    She’s such a *itch.

  124. you bet ya dirty laundry will come out in the trial and it won’t be pretty.
there will be no deleting of posts or browbeating when the questions are ask to shut it down. It will be ON and both sides will be ripping folks to shreads.
I have a feeling that the little dirt on most players that has already been on the net is just a prelude.

  125. 58apache

i agree with ya on drew being in the media way too much & not helping him.

on the swing side-sharon & the rest have ruined some of their credibility.

both sides should have taken notes from both sides of the Stebic case.

  126. My take on the Mark Furhman issue in regards to the OJ Trial.

Marsha Clark didnt prepare him, as she should have, and Mark didnt think quick enough on his feet when he was being questioned by Flee.

When Flee asked him if he had ever used the “N” words, Mark should have said, “the n word?” and put Flee in a position that he would have had to say the word, and then Mark could have answered with, “I used it in the same context you just did.”

remember that perfectly. thought it was a slam
dunk case & then witnesses for the prosecution had credibility issues. couldnt convict on a shadow of a doubt.

  132. That’s kind of funny. It seems like their pissing contest should be on Jerry Springer rather than WBBM.

And should that EVER happen…I want the royalties…

  133. I have a visual of Mr Sharons sitting in the house, watching reruns of Laverne and Shirley, not having a clue what Sharon is doing outside.

  134. Or the Steve Wilkos Show…I caught that the other day for the first time….its actually pretty funny also.

  135. Now, I DID lose respect for Furhman after that Dunkin’ Donuts video fiasco when he actually showed the surveilliance video that was supposed to be Drew and Tom, and then it turned out to be two truckers.

But if he wants to write a book…good on him.

  136. What Mark and Dominick did for the Martha Moxley case was fantastic.

The interesting thing is, it was only National Fox, Greta and Mark that came into B’Brook guns ablazing. Some of the other bigger networks that do investigative work also stayed away.

noway – a police officer can take his “retirement” with at least 20 years of service, and having attained the age of 50.

She he had, I believe, 29 years or more of service, and was 53, he was probably “maxed” out and able to retire at full pension. I don’t know if BB’s is 75%, 80%, or what, but that’s how it works.

If he saw something coming, like a charge for something he may have done while on duty, he was better off taking his retirement and ending it then and there. Otherwise, his pension could have been held up and no money coming in.

    Hope that explains it.

or enough action to have full time swat. So it’s very possible he was still swat but the question is was that weapon certified for official use.

it’s ok rescue just ignore it if it upsets you.

  160. Good thought Freedom, it might have been regulation for the group, but not for the BBPD.

For instance, in DuPage County IL, there is a group called DuMeg. Its the Dupage County Metropolitan Enforcement Group. Each department lends out an officer to the group for a couple of years I believe it is. Now this is a full-time thing, but they might have different rules and regulations than the local department has.

Something else to think about now….hmmmm?

  161. Theorignal, possible, but its still about evidence. All the side stuff is just funny, and I believe will come back to bite both sides in the arse.

the legal panel did say on greta’s they have charged him incorrectly and will have to recharge him.
The charge should have been unlawful possession not unlawful use.
I doubt that’s any big deal and they can get another show by serving him another arrest warrant with the correct charge!!

  166. Theoriginal….I have to agree with you.

Both sides are crazy. I cant find any sympathy for either. And before people jump me for that, I’m saying that as I have no proof that Stacy isnt alive.

  168. I will say this, the Assistant DA that spoke today didnt impress me at all. He seemed like he was caught off guard, and not very well prepared.

  169. And you know how everyone is always looking for the smoking gun in cases. I think this case will have a ton of little smoking guns, nothing too major.

I think it will be stupid stuff that trips them all up.

  170. That glass of wine idea while on the computer ain’t such a bad idea after all.

And, I did mean to say “ain’t.” Even spelled it right, LOL.

  171. when I first saw the report of stacy missing yep drew guilty.
Then I read an article about Kathleen and it mention that Stacy gave Drew an alibi for that weekend.
Now this was way before the pastor hit the media and that made me start questioning and making sure that I looked at all angles.
Since IMO you just never really know until there is some real evidence shown and for us that will be once there is a trial.
The fsp craziness just made things worse and also made me wonder why they were shutting down honest questions concerning many things.
    and well here we are.

Now, if that is true, its fantastic.

But you can also believe the defense is going to go over the finances with a fine tooth comb. Lets say there is not credit card charge between say Thanksgiving and Christmas for a hot choc. at Starbucks…that will be the stupid little stuff that happens.

I think it shocked lots of people. Especially those that have followed missing person cases in the past.

  175. And think about it, if it wasnt for Sharon and the all the stuff on the FSP, Drew wouldnt have had the chance to make his stupid comments etc.

They personally brought a lot of attention to themselves, and it wasnt good attention.

  176. Exactly Original, Im one of them. But the defense is going to look throught everything and try to trip up the witnesses on the stand, and make them out to be liars.

  177. I don’t think it would be hard to tear apart the hot chocolate story even if she did use her credit card.
There is a story from early on, link on acandyrose, where stacy hit some guy in a parking lot. She asked him not to call insurance she would pay for the damages and she did not want her husband to know.
So she could get money without her husband knowing according to this story.

  178. vast difference from the Stebic case. if that case comes to trial it’ll be on merits. Peterson case comes to trial it’ll be who has told the most lies or most antics. i see a good horse race there.

I agree 100%. Things like that raise great doubt in the credibility of a witness.

  180. seriously does anyone think drew would act any other way?
why keep poking him with a stick??
sharon doesn’t get it, she needs to move before it really tears her down and she totally loses it.

  182. fascinating, people see you. Not many know all about you. Your “personas” I mean.

But to come on and say we are changing posts, posting as forum members, that sort of thing…. well, it just makes you look a bit more “out there”.

Also, it helps nothing, and it solves nothing.

There are no board wars, just in case that is what you’re trying to restart, they have all died out.

  183. what bothers me about the friends & family stating that stacy was truely afraid drew would kill her is that they want us to believe that she meant it-yet-they obviously didnt take her seriously.

  184. yep and also turns out the man was a social worker and stacy told him she was having marital problems or something along those lines. I’m too tired to get the link.
This guy came forward after she went missing. I think the accident was in april/may time frame.

  185. I think something got mixed up in the parking lot story.

How would Stacy hitting someone’s car get her (Stacy) money?

  186. True story about me and no cash. Last week went to the Cubs Game. Had the tickets in my wallet. At the last minute I decided to change and not take a purse. Get to Wrigley, opps, no tickets. Back home we go. Better half says to me, I’ll run and grab them. He came back out and said “all those damn reciepts in your wallet, I had a hard time finding them,” my response, “you havent taken them out yet to do the check book, so its not my fault”

I never carry cash, and about once a week he goes into my wallet and takes out all the reciepts and does the books.

in order for the man to do as Stacy requested and that is not turn it into her insurance company. Stacy would have to come up with the money to pay for the repairs.

looked like admin on the sidewalk, cass on the porch sitting next to who knows who. definately was them. perfect opportunity to search if you’re frantic enough.

who knows if the truth one way or another will
ever come out of the funds. however the doubt will always be there.

  201. My favorite FSP stunt was auctioning off Cassandra for a day.

You talk about shocked and stunned? I couldnt believe they even thought for one second that was a good idea….hahahahaha.

hmmm another visual im not liking right before bed. thanks. no it was a sick digusting thing to do-auctioning yourself off on a missing persons site.

  204. I believe they were advised in January that there were certain regulations to follow.

According to the agencies, as of March 20, they were not in compliance.

Now, who would be so stupid to do this in the name of someone they love?

  205. And I will never, ever believe someone offered them a 1,000.00 to stop it. I think someone got to them and told them to stop it, and they just said money was involved.

    They are/were good for laughs.

  206. i think fsp did alot of “firsts” in on a missing persons site & most of it just wasnt good. if ya want respect ya gotta be respectable.

  207. Amanda, I know nothing about Charities at all.

But I do know the attorney for this group, didnt know the players…lol. We were outside having a smoke and there was a player out there, we were talking with. When the player left I asked the Attorney who that player was, and he didnt have a clue….hahahaha. I figured it out later who it was, but I did think it was funny that he really didnt have personal connections, he just had a job to do.

  208. Fuzzy math Theoriginal…lol. You might be right, I know it was some stupid amount, that I didnt believe.

  209. Another personal favorite of mine from the FSP.

The misspelling of Stacy’s name on the bumper stickers, and then again on a welcome sign at the Ditka fundraiser.

did her best friend know how to spell her name? too funny.

  211. That was some funny stuff watching Sharon cover the mistake with her finger, it was so obvious, it was hysterical.

  212. If someone could post a link to the pictures I will try to tell you who is who that I know of.

There’s not much of a chance of mistaking the little admin turd.

  213. I thought I would figure out who Admin was, but I was just watching from the helicopter pictures.

  214. And it was all a lot of nothing.

To have a helicopter follow them for a gun charge was a bit of overkill if you ask me.

It wasnt like he was handcuffed, or did the whole perp walk with coat over head etc. It was all very civil, and happens that way all day long around the country.
