  1. I put this on the previous thread, but am bringing it to this new thread for discussion.

    If I remember correctly, Stacy only had the new cell phone for two weeks or less when she disappeared. It’s that new cell phone that’s missing.

    Going back to the timeline, there’s one area of the timeline that we can be fairly certain of, and that’s the morning and early afternoon hours of October 28th.

    Sharon reported that she left to run a couple of errands at about 9:30am – 9:40am. When she left, she noted that both Drew’s car and Stacy’s car were in the Peterson driveway.

    Stacy was on the phone with Bruce. The time varies on this, with some saying the called ended about 10:15am and other reports putting the call ending at 10:28am. But for the purpose of this timeline, it’s sufficient to know that Stacy spoke to Bruce and the call was anywhere from 10:00am to 10:28am.

    Sharon reports that she arrived home from doing her errands at about 11:30am, and at that time Stacy’s car was gone, and only Drew’s Denali was in the driveway.

    At about noon, Sharon called the Peterson home and asked to speak with Stacy. She had bought Halloween treats for the children and wanted Stacy to bring the children over sometime that day. Kris answered the phone and seemed flustered, not knowing what to say. Drew took the phone from Kris and told Sharon that Stacy had gone to her grandpa’s. He told Sharon he would bring the children over after lunch.

    About 1:00pm Drew brought the children over to Sharon’s and asked if she could babysit while he ran a quick errand. He was only gone about 15 minutes.

    This part of the timeline is pretty certain. It shows a sequence of events, with only small variances in minutes, but overall, a sequence.

    From this timeline, we can see that whatever happened to Stacy in the Peterson home, happened between 10:30am and 11:30am, sometime after she got off the phone from talking to Bruce, and before Sharon arrived home at about 11:30am.

    I believe that after whatever happened in the Peterson home, that sometime between 10:30am and 11:30am, Drew drove Stacy’s car to Clow airport, which was just around the corner and walking distance away. He left her car at the airport and walked home, a walk that probably only took about 5 minutes.

    With Stacy’s car missing from the driveway, no one would question Drew’s story that Stacy had left to visit her grandpa.

    In a recent interior picture of Drew and one of the boys at the front door of the Peterson home, I noted that the staircase from the second story is only about 5 feet from the front door. It would be very easy for Drew to come downstairs and out the front door to move Stacy’s car and go un-noticed by anyone in the house.

    What did Drew do when he ran that 15 minute errand, while Sharon babysat with the children at about 1:00pm?

    He could have used that time to move Stacy from the master bedroom out of the house. To accomplish this, he would have had to back his Denali up to the garage door, opened the garage door, and quickly loaded her into the rear of the Denali. He probably would have had her in some sort of container – a duffle bag or something, because it would be too much of a risk otherwise.

    From there, he could have driven his car to Clow airport and transferred Stacy to the trunk of her car.

    The only thing about the above scenario, is that it doesn’t account for Tom Morphey helping Drew move a rectangular container from the master bedroom to the Denali later that evening at about 9:30pm.

    Perhaps Drew used those 15 minutes to remove evidence from the home and moved Stacy later that night with the help of Tom Morphey.

    The Illinois State Police have stated that Stacy did not leave the Peterson home willingly, and that they have evidence.

  2. I believe the mostly dismantled nightstand, towels, etc. were in the blue tote, and that the reason it was warm is because is was on the floor next to the heat register.

  3. If he did not leave the house for those fifteen minutes, he could have just been moving the tote into the bedroom and wrnagling Stacy’s body into it.

    Sometimes I wonder if she was only injured at this point, bound and gagged and left in that tote until 10:30 when Morphey was asked to move her.

    BUT, this would mean leaving her, alive and bound in his house during his meeting with Morphey at the coffeeshop and whatever driving around he seems to have been doing that night. So…

    I don’t know.

  4. The more i think about it, the more I believe that she was dead before Sharon got back home and called for the kids to come over for candy. Since the cadaver dogs hit on the Grand Prix, I believe that he put her in the trunk, left the car at the airport and came home. During the time that the kids were over at Sharon’s, he was dismantling the nightstand and putting it in the blue tote, along with whatever else he wanted to get rid of evidence wise.

    He then had the rest of the day to figure out where to hide Stacy’s body, how to set up Tom, and how to draw LE’s attention to the wrong parts of town by using the cell phones.

  5. I think the cell phone evidence is going to prove crucial in another way…

    Tom. Tom was with DP when the 9PM calls were made. 3 calls. 1 minute. 2 minutes. 5 minutes. From Stacy’s *new* cell phone to DP’s. Tom wasn’t a frequent visitor to the Peterson home- so he wouldn’t have known about Stacy’s new cell phone at all. So, if he actually saw the phone (and it was rather distinctive) and gave LE an accurate description of it without knowing that it was the *new* phone, DP is royally screwed.

    He had NO reason to have that phone. How could Stacy call to tell him she was dumping him for someone else, if HE had her cell phone?

    Good points and good discussion!

    Remember when that female reporter (her name escapes me) had a brief tour of the Peterson home very early in the case? She reported that in the basement she saw a lid for a large Rubbermaid type of container, but no container. That struck me as strange, and that’s why I remember that one thing from the interview.

    I think it’s very possible that Drew only rendered Stacy unconscious through a choke hold that police use. She could have been alive and unconscious if she was in the container that Drew and Tom carried out of the house late that night. Whatever Drew did to Stacy, I don’t think she regained conscious that day. She was either dead or unconscious and near death.

    I believe the time when Drew and Tom moved the container was closer to 9:30pm. According to the camera at the cafe where Drew and Tom were, they left about 9:22pm and that cafe was only a few minutes from the Peterson home. Also, the friend that Tom confided in – Walter – said that when Tom came to his house, he had been watching the World Series and he mentioned that a particular inning had just ended, which would give an approx. time.

    *******************************

    I think it would have been necessary for Drew to clear evidence out of the house. Stacy’s purse, cell phone, any evidence of a struggle in that bedroom had to be gotten rid of. If the children saw Stacy’s purse or cell phone, they would question if she had left. There was certainly some sort of clean up that had to be done.

    What we don’t know, is what happened between about 1:30pm and later that evening when Drew met Tom Morphey – about 7:30pm. That’s a gap of about 6 hours that are unaccounted for in the timeline. If Drew used his cell phone to call someone to help him, his cell phone records would play a big role in the investigation.

    But, I wonder if Drew planned on getting rid of Stacy’s cell phone and used that one to make calls on throughout the day??? Disposing of Stacy’s new cell phone after he had used it to call someone to help him, would destroy the evidence of those calls too.

  8. I can’t wait til his cell phone records come out. Would he be that stupid to think no one would be checking them? not sure. I wonder if he made any calls from pay phones etc instead. I hope not, because his records will show when and who he didn’t call too when he was waiting on her to get home.

    They will also show that he called in to work too early to know she was missing and didn’t call anyone to babysit the kids. For that matter, if she had taken off, he likely would have left the little ones with the older one, like he’s done so many times now.

    If I was a couple hours late coming home from grandpas and my husband had to work, he would likely call many times my cell and grandpas house and tell me to get a move on, or at least find out when I’m leaving and then go ahead and go to work in the interim. He didn’t call her til 8:00pm.

    Her records will show the phoney voice mail “calls” and if he indeed did use it to call croneys, that would be really damning. Numbers she wouldn’t have.

  9. JB refused to answer my question about Drews “normal” activities after working the night shift. Like whether he normally would go straight to bed after work in the morning or stay up for supper & watch TV etc.

    Said it was a (back door) timeline issue. I didn’t ask about the 28th Oct specifically, just his normal routine.

    I personally don’t think he went straight to bed in the morning after getting off. Most night shift workers have to wind down, and I wondered what his usual method was. Not easy to fall asleep when the sun’s coming up.

    Right Bash?

  10. I think he came to bed when she was talking to friend at 1030, pissed off (maybe under the inflluence) and blew. I can’t see her chatting on the phone in bed taking a chance of waking him up while he’s sleeping beside her.

  11. Don’t you think he likely would, like most people, come home from work, be up a few hours and go to bed until an hour before he had to go back to work (at 5pm).

    He came home for evening meals when on duty, so nothing more to do than shower and grab a bowl of cereal before he goes in.

  12. lizanne61 // May 24, 2008 at 6:03 pm

    acandyrose timeline shows he got off at 4am.
    ************************
    His official statement (at least what he first said to the press, and now must stick to) was that when he awoke at about 11 a.m. Stacy was gone.

    Supposedly, it was 10:30 when she told painting pal that she felt too lazy and depressed to get out of bed. Yet Drew woke up a half hour later to find her gone?

    No wonder J Brodsky isn’t digging the timeline questions.

  13. I never bought the 11am and she’s gone statement. The fact that she didn’t take the kids should have gotten him calling her right away.

    Either he was in bed and got woken up by that phone call (which why would she say she felt depressed with hubby right beside her?), or he hadn’t yet been to bed.

  14. lizanne61 // May 24, 2008 at 5:48 pm

    ****************************

    Lizanne………..excellent point! If my husband were sleeping, I would have moved to another room so as not to disturb him.

    Since JB won’t answer that question about Drew’s normal activities when coming home after a night shift, we have to assume that he probably does as many and spends a little time unwinding. He might get something to eat, a cup of coffee, and read the newspaper before sleeping.

    If the children were up and about, he might get them their cereal and see that they’re occupied with cartoons or playing before waking Stacy up to take over.

    I think it’s very possible he was just coming to bed and found Stacy on the phone talking to Bruce. I believe and argument ensued and he became enraged over something. Perhaps Stacy confronted him and told him she was seeing an attorney the next day.

  15. Since the cadaver dogs hit on the Grand Prix …
    _____________
    Um … what?

    I’ve read about hits in the master bedroom and hits at Clow.

    Nada about the Grand Prix.

    _______________
    Did TM indicate that he saw another phone with Drew? Stacy’s new phone was pink, if I recall. Cass has posted a picture of what it looked like.

    The calls came from Stacy’s phone to the phone left with Tom Morphey (Drew’s phone).

  17. Noway All I remember hearing is
    DP left his phone with TM, and DP took off …I remember Stacy’s phone either being a treo, or some sort of smart phone..
    It was however like magenta..Deep purple..

    The hits were in bedroom, and denali..

    I dont remember if TM seen more than DP’s …

  18. Where in the house could DP have put Stacy (unconscious, not dead) that would pretty much have no chance of the kids finding her accidently.

    By that, I mean … if he had her in their bathroom, which I am guessing is attached to their bedroom … what would stop one of the kids from using it if the other bathroom(s) were in use?

    It seems that the rooms in the house were all in use … little kids came into DP/SP bedroom … so what would stop one of them from looking for their mom … not comprehending that she’d “left” that morning and wasn’t back yet?

    If she was alive and unconscious … camper … garage (but that is iffy since lots of the kids’ stuff was in there) … fridge in the corner of the garage … is it used for food or just drinks … or is it a freezer (saw it in photo once).

  19. Gosh, I wish that we could get back to the posts on FSP … just to read them. Wish I’d saved the entire forum! 😀

  20. I now as I need a awesome timeline again.. LOL!!!

    Im doing good, how are you?
    I think it couldnt hurt to ask FSP ,at gmail addy..
    Never hurts to ask!

    Ya know its commen sense new house probable of own bathroom.. So it can be locked for others to enter..

    I believe she did not meet a bloody death, as to much eveidence…

    Bathtub, and then removal.
    Now help me with the rest kid..

    I have pics to garage as it is seen in newsreporting clips, and I dont remember seeing lg. freezers do you?

  21. Good points Noway– I think she was dead from the get go. I think he had to put her in the disposal container (scuba duffel, cable box) right away and maybe hid that in the closet til Tom was with him. In a walk in closet there likely is a heat vent in the back and as someone said it could have been warm from a vent.

    The other reason he needed to was because of (sorry) rigor setting in, and then it doesn’t release again for 5 hours (?). With no def plan in place, he wouldn’t be able to move her much earlier into a different container. Maybe thats what he was waiting for (and darkness), wanting to put her into something else,

  22. I remember Stacy was going to the garage for a soda for DP the day the shot was fired into the floor. Frig?

  23. I think it was bloodless, as in broken neck, strangling. He had the power/training to do either. But is there usually a fluid issue after death of some sort?

  24. Don’t think she was dead in the house. I think the hit was from the nightstand which was from Savio home and was from Kathleen Savio’s death.

    If Stacy was dead and DP moved her down the stairs in a tote/barrel/tub … would there be traces of “death” for the dogs?

  25. The only problem I have with the garage/fridge is that what would stop any of the kids from being in there (look at the stuff for kids in sher’s photo)?

    What would stop them from wanting a drink from the fridge too?

  26. I think he controlled it to room, and blanketed it and moved it..
    Plastic shavings…HMMM

    IM wondering if chlorine barrel came with plastic bag inside and that was used?

    ok im really digging , but a possibility..

    Shavings of plastic may be from a bag and or defiitly plastic barrel..

  27. IMO, she was only disabled in the house. Knocked out … bound and gagged. I think the 15 minutes was to get the little things out of the way … bikini, purse, phone, passport. And to check on whether she was still unconscious and bound and gagged.

    I think the nightstand and maybe the things above were in the tote …

    Why in the world … if he is going to go with “my wife left me” did he not throw some clothes in there too?

    Or did he not come up with the “my wife left me” until later … and couldn’t risk that something he’d choose hadn’t been seen by one of the kids?

  28. The cadaver dog is searching for a body, and probably decay. I don’t think they would hit on the floor where a container was placed temporarily, especially if the body is not exposed.

    A good spraying down with febreze and he’s good to go!

  29. It’s a full-size fridge. On the left behind the bike flag. I have seen a similar pix to this one … but fridge is more noticable.

    Remember, Stacy was getting soda from fridge when shot came through ceiling (floor of their bedroom).

  30. Ok im lookin and i see what your saying, but,, on left i do not see a fridge…
    I see as we look at my pic,, tool chest to his right, and a file cabinet to his left…

    Im thinking he has a upright fridge in back of him… Clutter to his left looks like a small dorm fridge..????

  31. Was just wondering what could have added to the weight of the tote. Nightstand and bikini, purse and phone not going to weigh 100 pounds.

    But of course … add the diving weights (what did they weigh … anyone know?)

  32. Sher, I will try to find another photo.

    I don’t think she would have been in the fridge … but garage? I mean it is a mess (and he is a control freak and likes a neat house … he said none of his wives kept house like his mom).

    What’s with the garage? It’s on opposite ends of the neatness of the house …

  33. The red flag is just touching the “seam” where the door of the fridge would open … lol … I keep pointing to my screen and talking to myself. Hubby threatened to take away my computer time. 😀

  34. I think canine noses are 100 times as strong as human, and cadav dogs are probably stronger. I wouldn’t want to smell that good, too many bad smells around here, every skunk in Wayne and all the horse manure on the road around here.
    When I pull in the driveway my dogs go right for my tires to see what I’ve encountered. To them its heaven.

    Oh but I don’t think he let her bleed. Do they pick up on the other ‘fluids, etc’ that she may have lost?

    I should know this, my dogs are from working lines, and I breed for obedience. I’m sure I have a book somewhere…..

  35. Too funny noway.

    Does anyone remember the cops looking for scuba gear, weights?

    I’ll check the warrants

  36. I just realized the JB will say that the dogs hit on the bloody nose DB had 5 years ago … hope the experts can dispute. 😀

    Yes, Sher! Thank goodness. Couldn’t find photo and if I said “It’s THERE … right BEHIND the flag!!!” one more time, my hubby was taking the laptop away! And he’s working on the other so I’d be offline!

  37. I wish there was documented eveidence…somewhere?
    I cant stand starting over from scratch..

    Hey Acandyrose is a good documented place…

    Rumor of NS there @ house when guns were seiged, and then missing when other warrents were served…

    HALP!!!

  38. acandyrose is good I agree

    nothing in the warrants there about the scuba weights.

    Also I heard the NS was there on dog day,, but was gone when warrant was served.

  39. Asked Joel about the weights. Don’t know if it will make the Top 10 of the day …

    Regarding the scuba weights which are missing from Drew’s home, how much did those weights weigh?

    I’ve also asked him if DP is going to change the wording on his reward since he (DP) now thinks Stacy might have encountered foul play at the hands of the man she ran away with …

  40. 3-day head clearing trip.

    If DP was in need of moving her,, or getting rid of evidence, having to park the bike for the winter in Wisc. would be a good excuse to rent a truck & trailor. (he has a garage after all).
    If he justifiably used a rental, that has now been rented again and again and any evidence in it compromised by multiple people using it.

  41. And of course, he could have rented under another name (I believe Mims said he had IDs from his undercover days) and paid cash.

    And as long as everything was returned A-okay, who would even pay attention?

  42. Sher, didn’t see that!

    A change in the strategy of Joel “An Interview A Day” Brodsky?

    I think he must have realized that very few people are feeling sympathetic to Drew Peterson, and the more he opens his mouth, the worse he makes it for himself.

  43. SNIP~
    12/17/2007 (National Enquirer) “Stacy murdered in Bed. Stacy’s final minutes of terror”
    “Mims said on the night of Oct. 31, Halloween, young Kris began to open up about Drew and Stacy’s final fight. The boy was out helping supervise his stepbrother Anthony, 4, and stepsister Lacy, 2, as they trick-or-treated, dressed as Spider-Man and Tinker Bell respectively.” Neighbor Sharon Bychowski was also helping, and at one point, Kris pulled Sharon aside. “Sharon told me Kris looked scared,” Mims told The ENQUIRER. “He said: ‘I was in my bedroom and I heard mommy and daddy fighting.'” “Kris told Sharon that Stacy was yelling she wanted a divorce and that she wanted his father to move out of the house. Mims says that suddenly things got quiet at that point, according to Kris.”

    http://www.acandyrose.com/stacy_peterson_timeline.htm
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We need facts!
  44. That National Enquirer Story is funny to me.
    Yeah, I can see Kris taking Sharon aside and telling her what he knew….NOT.
    It’s Ric M, Sharon B, and the National Enquirer, none of them have any creditablity to me at all.
    Just like so many others, they arent the only three.
  45. lizanne61 // May 24, 2008 at 6:16 pm
    I never bought the 11am and she’s gone statement. The fact that she didn’t take the kids should have gotten him calling her right away.
    Either he was in bed and got woken up by that phone call (which why would she say she felt depressed with hubby right beside her?), or he hadn’t yet been to bed.
    _________________
    I mentioned something along these lines before.
    By his own admission, Bruce tried not to be alone with Stacy for any reason because of Drew’s feelings about that.
    So … Stacy is going to be texting Bruce and talking with him on the phone while Drew tries to sleep next to her?
    Imagine trying to sleep and ANYONE chatting on the phone next to you. IRRITATING.
    I don’t think Drew was asleep at all. I think he was listening and getting angrier and angrier. . .
    IMO
  46. Well I dont know what to say to that, other than agree to disagree..
    Its cool!
    like I said, wish we had more concrete facts to all of this!
  47. letthetruth … yet another reason why the boys need to testify … to verify that this did or did not happen. IF it did, Kris may know more than he thinks …
    Have the boys spoken to LE at all?
    I thought someone from DFHS spoke with the boys but might be all confused about that too.
    Gosh, I wish that we could get back to the posts on FSP … just to read them. Wish I’d saved the entire forum! 😀
    NOWAY , you can look for the posting from that site , ya have to click the cached link to look at the fsp sites ,,, here ya go but you will have to proubly use back button alot.. to get to what you want to find.. or putting in the persons name to search for them and usually it will give you what sites they belong to ,, but here is link to find any posting you may have to got click 1 thru what ever to find it..
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&q=+site:findstacypeterson.com+Find+Stacy+Peterson&sa=X&oi=smap&resnum=1&ct=more-results
  49. Not that I know of Sher … we were talking about that, and wanting to put one together … but even the “sources” we trust differ … and who to believe?
    😉 LE has one … shall I give them a call?
  50. Noway, I agree with that.
    I don’t believe she was on the phone with Drew next to her asleep.
    But on the flip side she was a bit of a dare devil. When Drew told her to not go and meet Scott, she did so anyways. I would almost expect any man to be angry with his wife if she was going out to meet another man.
  51. Thanks, lugnut. I’ll have to do that on my other computer. This one is starting to aggravate me. 😀
  52. Sher, dont take this wrong, please.
    But you were tight with those on FSP, why don’t you contact them for the timeline they had on the site?
  53. I think I’ll ask Joel about the bike being stored up in Wisconsin, if that’s the usual. ALso what town. I lived near Madison for a few years, and travel thru frequently. I often get off the highway to find barns to photograph. I’m thinking of a well on an old farm property being a good place to lose a body.
  54. Noway….lol.
    Thats when you know you have been way too involved in a case and its probably time to step away from the computer and get back into reality….lol.
  55. lizanne61, like the idea of asking whether it was normal for DP to store his bike there … not sure if he’ll give you the town, but it’s worth a shot.
  56. NOWAY,
    welcome , glad I could help with that , oh when you get into it you can not click the next page cause gives ya error of page isn’t there .. so that is why I said you shoudl use the back button everytime if you want to search thru all of it which Iam doing.. as well.
  57. So you’re thinking drive motorcycle to some city, rent truck/trailer, put bike in trailer, go to wherever and get Stacy’s body and drive to Wisconsin to dispose of?
    No way he could have Stacy on the bike! It’s been discussed.
  58. Lugnut, I was able to save my own posts … and saved a couple pages of other peoples’ but haven’t dug through them yet. Can’t get to the files.
  59. Sher, dont take this wrong, please.
    But you were tight with those on FSP, why don’t you contact them for the timeline they had on the site?
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ill tell ya , It may be down for a reason, and I didnt even try as I know they have all been thru an emotional rollercoaster…

    I do not want to bother anyone..Ya know?

  60. Dang I would call ISP , but goodluck with a return phone call…

    They might say , a dude its a active investigation, Im not allowed?
    who knows?

  61. The timeline on Whereisstacy is okay. Maybe I could take that one and lay it out against the one on acandyrose … but truthfully, I don’t mind asking FSP for the timeline.

    They can send whoever they want to my house. 😀

  62. And when you did get through to the ISP with your request, dont get upset, but it might take them about 5 minutes to give you an answer….they will be far too busy laughing their butts off at the request…..hahahahahaha.

  63. The thing is, we want minute-by-minute, and the only one with that is DP and LE. And even those might not match. 😉

  64. Well, I’ll ask. It will be a welcome relief from my requests to spell Aquatic right. (Which by the way, they have.)

  65. I do not think LE will give a timeline!
    I tried also from my saves and hit back and it goes to URL not found…

    So WIS may be good idea..

    Im frustrated!
    FOOOOOOO !!!

  66. I read a blog that is run by LE, and some of the comments on their about the Drew Gun arrest are from members of the ISP, and it doesnt sound too promising as far as them clearing this case.

    From my take is the investigators are all political, and most dont have that much investigative expierence.

    I sure hope they are wrong.

  67. Noway,
    No I was thinking that the body was maybe temporarily in a storage unit or a forest preserve somewhere and on the 2nd or 3rd day he rented the truck//trailor, put the bike on the trailor, picked up body and transported her in the truck to Wisconsin. He returned minus bike & luggage, drops the truck off and walks home.

  68. Don’t you think someone was watching him even in the first couple of days?

    I ask that because they always say the husband is the first one they look at.

    And with the history of Drew being a cop etc, I would hope they would have had someone watching him 24/7 from the get go.

  69. By chance is anyone searching tommorrow?

  70. letthetruth, I sure hope so.

    How soon did LE think this was more than a wife ran off case? I think it was within the first 24 hours after Cass reported her missing. Heck, I posted something about it and can’t remember.

    I have to think they were doing more than just watching the FRONT of his house. Enjoying the Halloween decorations and all.

  71. Yeah, god knows. But I just have to believe he was being watched.

    Now if it was the BPPD handling the case that might be different, but it was the ISP, and they didnt know Drew from Adam.

  72. Eureka, that’s what was bugging me about his 3 day head clearing trip. He left and came home without any bags. Unless his bike had saddlebags to put a couple days worth of clothes in. DOes anyone have the pic of him leaving on his bike?

  73. Sometimes I think we give Drew too much credit.

    He was with the BPPD, and its not the biggest town around.

    How many murders do you think he handled in his 28 year career? I’m guessing the number is very low, so he wouldnt know the in’s and out’s of a murder investigation like some in a big town would.

    The town I live in is similar in size to Bolingbrook, a bit smaller, but we had one murder last year, and they knew instantly who did it. And before that I cant even remember.

  74. liz, I think someone commented on that on another forublogsite.

    Said he left on his bike to make it look like he was just taking a short trip (there were questions about whether someone would ride his bike all the way to Wisconsin).

    But then again, if you are clearing your head, are you going to care about changing clothes?

    But I see what you mean. If you’re disposing of evidence and a body, you don’t care what you wear.

    But if you are going to visit a friend and arrive all mucky from your drive, you might want to change.

    Now DP said “old friend” and “his” so that old friend might let you borrow some clothes.

    Interesting point though.

  75. If Cassandra told the ISP right away what Stacy told her, about fearing for her life, I’m sure the ISP would have him on the short list instantly of suspects.

  76. Not sure when I first heard this story … but saw it on news and had a few suspects (without knowing anything).

    Drew, Sharon, man behind Sharon (turned out to be Roy), person Stacy was on phone with (turned out to be Bruce) … but am sure that ISP also looked at other people and yet, the only suspect LE has is Drew.

    Let me just say that I didn’t have evidence that these people DID NOT have anything to do with Stacy’s disappearance, it is just that DP’s actions made me suspect him more.

  77. From Sher’s link:
    Now, when he brings the two younger children over at 1:00 o’clock, we have to understand that Sharon’s not paying attention to what cars are parked there.

    Were we wondering whether the kids all went or just the younger ones? Maybe other bloggerforium I’m reading. 🙂

  78. Yep, the other one. So that means it’s time to go to sleep. I think I’ll work on putting together a timeline from all these sources.

    Not going to bother calling ISP. 😀

    But I did ask FSP.

  79. SNIP~~~
    from others timeline cant put in link here!!!

    Oct. 28
    – 11:55 – Sharon calls the house, speaks with Kris. Sharon asks for Stacy, Kris stumbles at question and gives phone to Drew. Drew says that Stacy left for her grandfathers early this morning. Sharon asks if the kids can come over and have suckers and candy.

    Oct. 28
    – 1:00 – Drew comes to Sharon’s with the kids.

    Oct. 28
    – 1:15 – Drew leaves to run an errand.

    Oct. 28
    – 1:30 – Drew returns and picks up the kids.

  80. Sher69,
    In regards to the question of a refrigerator in the garage – I’ve got a picture of Paul Peterson in the garage and right behind him is a refrigerator.

    Did ya happen to see JB’s May 23,
    UNEDITED press confrence stating DP will no longer be giving anymore interviews?
    ***************

    Sorry, I ‘m just catching up but I find this very interesting becuase I saw a comment from JB on a different blog, about a different case yesterday and he criticized another attorney for letting his client talk to the press but only because the client had already been charged.

    SO…does this mean that JB is expecting a charge at any minute?

  82. Good evening ladies! Nice to see you and to see Basherette tending her fruits.
    Love the way conversation flows now.

  83. Interesting. Dogs can smell through water?

    They had a blurb on the 10 o’clock news about the new “Stacy Ann,” it was literally a 10 second story. It showed Roy out on the boat with a couple other guys.

    If this missing person gig doesnt work out for them they can always go into plastic recycling…lol.

  84. Sher – I click on that link and there is a one page intereview on the chicago tribune. No page 2.

  85. I wouldn’t hold it to him though. He’s probably reconsidering since the charge was not a murder charge.

    I don’t have a lot of faith in much of what he says. I’ve noticed he contradicts about 70% of what he says at a later date.

  86. BTW, I also read in another blog, Brodsky stating that the only person he wouldn’t let talk to Drew was Nancy Grace because she’s too scary!

  87. That was some weird, uncomfortable expression he had when someone asked for confirmation that Drew would not make any more appearances.

  88. More contradictory white noise answers from Brodsky:

    Q. Where was Mr. Peterson for those 3 days he took off to clear his head and where is his motorcycle? The good one, not the little Sportster.

    A. An old friends house near Madison Wisconsin. In his garage.

    Q. Did Peterson usually store his motorcycle at his friend’s near Madison, Wisconsin for the winters?

    A. The motorcycles were alsways kept in Drew’s garage. Drew didn’t re-connect with the friend who lives near Madison Wisc., until about a month after Stacy ran off. They had lost contact, and not talked or seen each other for more than 10 years.

  89. Fac, I don’t see any contradiction in Joel’s answers regarding the motorcycle.
    Drew reconnected with that friend a month after SP disappeared and NOW the motorcycle is in that friend garage. (When the bike got there in the first place, doesn’t say)
    The only thing I notice is Joel did not respond where Drew was for those 3 days.

  90. Sorry, I should have mentioned that Drew’s 3-day trip to visit his friend took place November 4th, which would make it a week after Stacy disappeared.

    In his second answer, he states that Drew reconnected with the friend a month after Stacy disappeared.

  91. What is confusing about Joel’s answer is “his garage” … many people read that to mean Drew’s garage. I read it to mean “the old friend’s” …

    So he went on his 3-day head clearing/evidence tossing trip and three weeks later reconnected with his old friend?

    There is where the contradiction might be. So the question now is: When did Drew bring the bike to Wisconsin, and how did he get it there?

  92. Joel didn’t say Drew went to that friend in Wisconsin those three days.
    He just answered where the bike is now.

  93. We have to answer him again about those three days and see what he says.
    If he says “drew went to his friend in Wisconsin “, then I agree with you, Joel lied.

  94. I’ll show you how the first question was originally typed. It’s clearer that way. I probably made it less clear when I put it in the Q and A format.:

    ———————-
    Larry:
    1. Where was Mr. Peterson for those 3 days he took off to clear his head? 2. Where is his motorcycle? The good one, not the little Sportster.

    Larry at 12:10 a.m. :
    (1) An old friends house near Madison Wisconsin.
    (2) In his garage.

  95. fascinating, JB did say that DP went to the friend’s in Wisconsin during those 3 days and that the bike was in “his” garage (which I meant to mean the friend).

    It was posted here but I’ll find the Q and A again.

  96. facs, thanks!

    So … do you agree that JB lied?

    Here is lizanne’s follow-up:

    Did Peterson usually store his motorcycle at his friend’s near Madison, Wisconsin for the winters? Did he drive it up or did he transport by trailor, and what town was it? Seems like a big hassle and bit ludicrous when you have your own garage. How’d he get home if no truck-trailor?

    7. The motorcycles were alsways kept in Drew’s garage. Drew didn’t re-connect with the friend who lives near Madison Wisc., until about a month after Stacy ran off. They had lost contact, and not talked or seen each other for more than 10 years, so the senerio you suggest is impossible.

    **************************************************************************J

    Joel,

    I don’t understand your answer. What scenario? I am asking how he got it there and how he got home.
    And now I want to know WHEN because the records show he went there with the bike within a week af Stacy’s disappearance, not after almost December; a little cold to ride in my experience.

    But you did answer than it was not the Usual place for him to store the bike, but it is being stored there now, correct?

    Thanks for a complete answer, counselor!

  97. So, I think the cut and paste makes it a lot more clera that Brodsky was saying that he was at the friend’s for those 3 days.

    But what’s up with the cell phone? Did she have a THIRD one that she kept secret? JB says that Drew received the bills from her ‘new’ one. We’ve always seen that she was having the bills sent to Casssandra’s place. I’m confused. Do I have to pick someone to believe or could they both be telling the truth and there are more phones than we know about?

  98. In general I think I try to get too much from these questions for Brodsky. I don’t think he’s going to bother to be precise in his answers, because I think the thing is that he is the one getting information from us. He wants to know what people are confused about, what they question, how they think about his client.

    It wouldn’t be in his best interest to be providing information in public that could be used by the prosecution. So…that’s why I wonder if the contradictions and muddle we see in his answers are part of his famous ‘white noise’ media approach.

    He defined it as putting out a lot of different information to the media so that no one statement could be used by the prosecution.

    So, a prosecutor could never say, “It was stated in the Tribubne on May first that Drew’s favorite color is green.” without JB answering, “Ah, but was it not also stated May fifth in the Sun Times that his favorite color is red?”

    Just a thought…

  99. I never believed DP didn’t have access to Stacy’s new phone records.

    My hubby has a cell phone for personal use, issued through his work account, which we pay for.

    I was able to set up online billing although I did not have authorization to do other things, like change the plan. Go figure.

    The information I needed was info I know about my hubby. DP could have easily … and I mean easily … done the same.

  100. It’s worth a try, Noway. Even if he gives you a totally different answer this time it will be interesting to see how he responds. 🙂

  101. Well, while I will agree that JB can say so and so misquoted him … these answers are HIS answers. His posts.

    And if people who “threatened” DP or “slandered” DP are held accountable for what they said in their posts, I suppose JB must be too … although since he won’t be the one on trial, it won’t make much difference. It’s not like DP is answering.

  102. To set up the online billing Noway, didn’t you need to know the account number and billing address?

    Just for the sake of argument, say Stacy did buy that phone on the down low (a friend or cass paid for it) and the bills were going to cass’ house, do you think Drew would still be able to access the account info?

  103. My guess is that she had the old phone that went to her son, and the new one. The records from Bruce would show what number the text and calls came from that morning.

    And the records of DPs phone would also … and Stacy’s records would show whether calls were made as stated.

    A third phone … OMG. I can barely keep track of my ONE phone.

  104. noway406 // May 25, 2008 at 12:19 pm
    … if people who “threatened” DP or “slandered” DP are held accountable for what they said in their posts, I suppose JB must be too … although since he won’t be the one on trial, it won’t make much difference. It’s not like DP is answering.
    ——————————-

    I’ve always thought those FSP slander threats were pretty empty, but that’s still a good point.

    If a judge was going to agree to admit forum and blog evidence from one side, they’d kind of have to accept it from the other as well, right?

  105. facs, according to JB, Drew paid for the phone, knew about it, etc.

    As far as the account number … you don’t have it in front of you … so they ask various questions … and since DP PAID for the phone (I believe with his credit card?) then the phone person might assume he was okay?

  106. facs, I can’t remember exactly what they asked me. But I did it online. And I’m not a cop with connections (keep wanting to type c-o-p-y!).

    I just don’t think it would have been that hard for DP to get this information.

  107. Ok, Fac I agree with you, Joel lied with this one. It’s not a gigantic lie but is a lie. You can ask him again and I guess he’ll answer, “sorry I meant 1 week after SP’s disappearance” (that’s why I’m saying not a big lie)

    Now, regarding the possibility of Stacy’s having the third phone. It can be easily checked out: The phone number she left on her father’s voicemail, is it the one for the phone Dp was paying the bill? (Unless she was hiding from her dad too; which I doubted. She wasn’t hiding the phone from Cass)

  108. You know, I’ve always hated when someone goes through every thread and posts the same post … and JB is no exception.

    If I *wanted* to answer his hypothetical questions I would.

  109. Blue barrel … blue container … blue tote … blue tub …

    MIKE: Do you think he buried her in that blue tub that everyone talks about? – RIC MIMS: Yes. – MIKE: You do. – RIC MIMS: Yes, I do, because the blue tub was brought up a bunch of times. And then when his, Thomas Morphey mentioned the tub with the silver handles. – MIKE: He helped him move it. – RIC MIMS: We used these big, blue tubs with the silver handles when we worked at the cable company to carry converter boxes in. And then the day I heard them say silver handles on the blue box, I knew immediately which box it was. I immediately grabbed pictures of the boxes I had that were similar.

    ____________

    Didn’t know that TM had said blue tub with silver handles.

    Thought TM had said blue container.

    But I suppose DP got rid of every blue container, tub, barrel, or whatever in his house just to be on the safe side. 😉

  110. that message she left was played on air on one of the shows and she gave out her new number but they bleeped it out … that we heard … thought when she left that message she said here is my new cell number…

    I also thought it was stated drew didn’t know of the new phone that she had gotten, and that aas you all are saying is cass and sharon had box and the bills going to one of there house so drew would not know about it…

    wonder if she hid that new phone from him or what ???? cause of people calling her on it know you know…

    Oh and drew is going to get 2100 for the stimulas check soon…

  111. Drew was also on the new cell phone account, and Drew paid for that phone, (the old phone was given to the the teenage son) so I don’t believe that the bills went to Stacy’s sister, (that is unless Stacy had some cell phone unknown to Drew). The new phone has not been found and to the best of our knowledge has not been used since Stacy disapeared.

  112. noway406 // May 25, 2008 at 12:30 pm

    You know, I’ve always hated when someone goes through every thread and posts the same post … and JB is no exception.
    ————————-

    No kidding. Freakin’ spammer!

  113. The above post is a quote from JB from SYM.

    Question:
    We know that Stacy bought a cell phone shortly before she disappeared. Apparently, the packaging stayed at Sharon’s and the bill was sent to Cass.

    How did she purchase the phone? Did she charge it to her own credit card and risk Drew finding out about it?

    Also,

    Did the new phone disappear with her or has it been located?

    Answer: Drew was also on the new cell phone account, and Drew paid for that phone, (the old phone was given to the the teenage son) so I don’t believe that the bills went to Stacy’s sister, (that is unless Stacy had some cell phone unknown to Drew). The new phone has not been found and to the best of our knowledge has not been used since Stacy disapeared.

    __________

  114. Now … she could have had a third phone identical to the “new” one but with a different number. But she still would have had to use the “new” one quite a bit or DP would have been suspiscious about her not having any used minutes but texting and calling all the time . . .

  115. here is from nancy grace show of what was said of that phone call, here is the link
    http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0712/07/ng.01.html

    I also posted that in the above post , what I thought was said as well but found it here …

    STACY PETERSON: Hey, Dad, it`s me, Stacy. I just wanted to call you and tell you I love you. I also wanted to give you my new phone number. OK, love you. Bye.

  116. here is a transcript from nancy grace of the voice mail that stacy left to her dad, and as I stated above in my post … this is what stacy said….

    STACY PETERSON: Hey, Dad, it`s me, Stacy. I just wanted to call you and tell you I love you. I also wanted to give you my new phone number. OK, love you. Bye.

  117. Hi everyone.

    I just read the article here, Front Page..New Boat & Equipment to Aid…..
    I think it helps clear up the blue barrel.container, tub thing that Tom Morphey helped Drew Peterson carry out..

    If I read it correctly, it says Tom Morphey’s description was a 35 gallon dark blue Barrel. And that is what they are searching for.

  118. Yes, lug, and I think that was October 17 if I remember the date right.

    So … if DP is on the account and has been from the beginning and paid for the phone … what’s with the bill going to Cass and the bag/box with Sharon?

    Makes no sense to me.

  119. And I had heard 55 gallon … I don’t think it clears it up at all … since RM says that TM said “with silver handles” … unless the 35 gallon barrel also had silver handles (Ric got the image of the containers he and DP had purchased from the cable company they’d worked for).

  120. facsmiley // May 25, 2008 at 12:05 pm

    ********************************

    It sounds to me like there were actually 3 cell phones – Stacy’s old one that was eventually given to one of the boys; a new cell phone that was on Drew’s account with Stacy; and another new cell phone that Stacy bought – leaving the packaging with Sharon and the monthly bills coming to Cass, in order to keep that phone a secret from Drew.

  121. I don’t think anyone questions that Stacy bought a new phone shortly before she disappeared.

    What is at issue for me is that Cassandra says that the bills for that phone were coming to her house to keep Drew from accessing them. The packaging was left at Sharon’s. This would indicate that the phone was kept a secret from Drew.

    However, JB states that Drew was receiving the bills from Stacy’s new phone.

    So…is JB just wrong. Or is there yet a third phone?

  122. But I wonder if getting all kinds of stories about bins, barrels and containers out in the public are a way to throw the scent off the REAL container.

    By that I mean … we are confused about whether they are looking for a barrel (Roy), a container (Ric Mims) … a tub … so it makes TM’s story look odd … like there are so many stories out there who can believe anything.

    I think this was the goal of JB. To add confusion to the “blue” anything story. Confuse the issue.

  123. So what Drew considered to be Stacy’s “new phone” may not have been the phone that Stacy used to make calls she didn’t want Drew to know about.

    I can only hope LE has subpoened all of the records! Sounds like fun.

  124. I don’t go to the blog that JB posts on, but I sure as heck have a particular question.

    Here’s a quote of his from Good Morning America regarding the “blue container.”
    ********
    Walter Martinek, a friend of Peterson’s stepbrother, told ABC’s “Good Morning America” this week that the stepbrother spoke about the barrel the night he said he helped Drew Peterson move it. “A blue tote,” Martinek said. “A sealed blue tote, and this is where he really got shook up, he goes, ‘I know she was in there.'”

    Martinek said he asked the stepbrother, “What do you mean you know she was in there?” And, Martinek continued, “he goes, ‘It was warm to the touch.'”

    But Joel Brodsky, Drew Peterson’s attorney, said the barrel is just another rumor in a case that has generated intense scrutiny for his client. “There is no container,” Brodsky said. “There is no blue barrel.”
    ********

    Now, my questions is. Why in the world would Peterson’s attorney state, as if it was fact, “there is no blue barrel.”

    What if there are actually shavings found in the vehicle of Drew Peterson? Or marks from a “blue” container?

    Wouldn’t it just have been better to not even address that issue at all? Then, if LE says they did, indeed, find shavings or evidence of pieces of a blue container immediately upon seizing the vehicle, he could have said the man loaded and unloaded all kinds of things from his vehicle. Doesn’t mean it was a container carrying a body.

    Now, I suppose he can, in fact, still say that. But, my point is, he changes his answers/responses as he goes along, and I would have the hardest time believing anything that comes out of his mouth. Should’ve kept it shut in the first place. Just don’t understand his logic, and where the heck he’s coming from. His public statement is there is no blue barrel. And if it’s shown there may very well be a blue container, he now has to backpeddle and explain that away.

    Just as now, when he made a public statement saying that KS’s boyfriend should lawyer up and take the Fifth, seeing that her death is a homicide and he could be a suspect. Huh? When did they change from accident to homicide in their thinking?

    Also, I believe their stating hints that Stacy may very well be dead, and it’s the missing boyfriend who could have done it.

    Sooner or later, I believe, he will be suffering a credibility problem, what with his remarks and now his blogging. Well, I should say, he has no credibility as far as I’m concerned, but I’m sure that will snowball eventually.

  125. noway406 // May 25, 2008 at 1:05 pm

    Yes, lug, and I think that was October 17 if I remember the date right.

    So … if DP is on the account and has been from the beginning and paid for the phone … what’s with the bill going to Cass and the bag/box with Sharon?

    Makes no sense to me.

    it could be that when she transfered old phone to the new , there are numbers on the new box as they where saying he could tap into her phone from previously .. like he had done so before . so this way he couldn’t do it to new phone with out box, but you can still get all information when taken out the battery though.. or looken at the settings in the phone and it says what phone is under phone info and gives version and other things of that phone if he picked it up . to check again on it…..

    but which person to believe is a ????? maybe it will come out in court during trial

  126. The third phone … interesting.

    But Stacy would have had to keep up appearances with the phone DP knew about. If he got the bill and saw that she used 15 minutes … but he himself had witnessed her sending and receiving texts and calls that would add up to much more than that … wouldn’t the gig be up?

    So it would be interesting to see whether the call from Stacy to DP telling him he was leaving was from New Cell #1 (that Cass and Stacy’s family knew about) or New Cell #2 (that Drew knew about).

    There is a quote flying around from Kerry … Simmons? That she had plans to meet with Stacy on Tuesday (two days after she disappeared) so they could talk in person because Stacy feared DP was listening to her conversation. Sorry that’s so vague. I’ve been reading so much on timeline and phone the last few days, I don’t know what I read where.

  127. Rescue – I’m constantly questioning it myself. Is the man weaving this intricate web of misdirectoin and intrigue…or is he just a moron?

  128. Stacy could not have possible taken the phone with her everywhere she went (shower) … and I’m sure DP had access to it at some point.

    I can enter my online account by typing in the account number or the phone number itself.

  129. Fortunately, the jury will only have to listen to whatever is placed into evidence. But I can see JB muddying the waters with “blue barrel … blue container … blue tote … and now a blue duffel … who knows what we should be looking for!”

  130. This is what it states Roy Taylor and the searchers are looking for. Barrel.
    Was Rick Mims speculating or did he have first hand knowledge of what Tom Morphey helped carry out?
    Is there an article stating Tom Morphey said it had silver handles?
    I have not researched this as much as you all have so I was just going by what I had just read.

  131. noway406 // May 25, 2008 at 1:21 pm

    Stacy could not have possible taken the phone with her everywhere she went (shower) … and I’m sure DP had access to it at some point.

    TRUE , noway,

    I can also do that online as well, but you need the pin to get into it and look at it… Iam under my hubby’s account , but mine is a second line at no extra charge.. but say if my hubby changed it with sprint I couldn’t access it online caus I would not know the new password..

  132. noway406 // May 25, 2008 at 12:39 pm

    Now … she could have had a third phone identical to the “new” one but with a different number. But she still would have had to use the “new” one quite a bit or DP would have been suspiscious about her not having any used minutes but texting and calling all the time . . .

    ********************************

    Its been stated that Stacy purchased a new phone about 2 weeks prior to her disappearance.

    Its logical that if Stacy was making plans to divorce Drew she would get a cell phone with only her name on the account, separate and apart from the cell phone that she had on an account with Drew.

    If Stacy was aware that Drew was tracking her through her cell phone, that’s all the more reason to get a new cell phone just prior to filing for divorce.

  133. facsmiley // May 25, 2008 at 1:16 pm

    So what Drew considered to be Stacy’s “new phone” may not have been the phone that Stacy used to make calls she didn’t want Drew to know about.

    I can only hope LE has subpoened all of the records! Sounds like fun.

    *******************************

    If LE has Drew’s billing, it might show a cell phone for him, a cell phone for Stacy, and a cell phone for the son that got Stacy’s old phone.

    LE would probably also have the billing/paperwork from Cass on any cell phone that Stacy had separate and apart from the one she had on Drew’s account.

    I bet LE also has the packaging that Stacy left at Sharon’s from the new phone.

    LE is putting this together.

    If Stacy was aware that Drew was tracking her through her cell phone, that’s all the more reason to get a new cell phone just prior to filing for divorce.
    —————————–

    That’s what we’ve all believed these last 6 months, but this morning J Brodsky says that Drew received the bills from that new phone.

    It doesn’t make sense to me. Is Joel lying?

  135. Again! This is what Joel Brodsky said today about Stacy’s “new” phone (which does not gel with what we have heard before):

    Drew was also on the new cell phone account, and Drew paid for that phone, (the old phone was given to the the teenage son) so I don’t believe that the bills went to Stacy’s sister, (that is unless Stacy had some cell phone unknown to Drew). The new phone has not been found and to the best of our knowledge has not been used since Stacy disapeared.

  136. I think Joel is lying. But the problem is, Joel is just a mouthpiece for Drew. Joel is only repeating what Drew told him.

    IF Drew told Joel that – “yes, Stacy had a new cell phone. We gave her old phone to one of the boys and put Stacy’s new phone on our account” – then that’s what Joel is going to repeat.

    But if Drew had no knowledge of another new phone Stacy had, one that was separate from the account with Drew with billing going to Cass, Drew wouldn’t know about that one.

    Drew is also trying to confuse the issue. He wouldn’t ever admit that someone out-smarted him. 🙂

    This was from Ric’s flyover the area I think. Not sure where I pulled it from. Thought I had the link with it but I didn’t (this text is upthread but no link).

  138. Remember … Drew has not been able to get his phone records. At least according to what JB said. And it was odd because Drew’s phone records are his phone records … so there most likely could have been two different “new” phones for Stacy.

    Lug, I’m the one who set up the online account, so I have the password/pin.

    If DP set up the online account, with the phone number … he would choose the password. So maybe Cass was getting the printed bill and DP viewing online … and that is why the laptop is gone?

  139. mollymcgee … we know LE is putting this together. We just wish they’d share the info with us! lol JK

  140. Reportedly Stacy had no income. She may have used their joint credit to buy the phone….hence the “I paid for it” comment. He had access to the phone when she dissappeared. He may have gotten a bill since that time because he could have gained access to billing after he obtained the phone. Does anyone get billed two weeks after recieving a phone? A bill prior to him accessing the phone could have been sent to Cass.

  141. Hi guys, trying to catch up on the reading, good topics.

    couple comments;

    A lot of white noise from JB— I hate helping him do his job, and helping him fish for reasonable doubts, but maybe we are also showing him it’s not such an easy sell, DP’s innocence.

    Seems most that he won’t anser is related to timeline issues. The other things he uses a lot of disclaimers. We’ll see if he gets more specific.

    About that blue container, here’s a link to latest version that I heard of.

    http://www.acandyrose.com/stacy_peterson_gallery4.htm

    Do you know those big plastic barrels are used in most of the parks, etc, not exactly a rarity, and they don’t sink easily.

    Here’s a question- if he were to put her in the above container, drive to a water location, then top off the inside with a bag of Quickrete, would that cement mix solidy or dissolve after being dumped in water?

  142. I agree Cheena, she was mad that he was accessing her call history, checking up on her. Whether he was using yellowbook.com or the BBPD computer to follow up is researchable.

    I think he paid for it, as in paid the charge bill, but she may well have had billing, and a new account set up in her name. Then she could make payments online, again with the joint credit card (her only access to money).

    JB conveniently walks around this, he doesn’t want anyone to think husband might have been controlling.

  143. If DP needed help loading a blue container into his Denali (that was the vehicle, right), how did he get it unloaded? If not alone, who helped him the second time? Otherwise, the only thing that comes to mind for me, in order for him to be able to dispose of her alone, would be to find secluded surroundings, somehow get her out of the container, and bury her; or pull up as close as possible to a waterway, roll or push the container out of the car, and get it into the water. Obviously, that would mean the container is close to the water’s edge, but it would need to be someplace that is deep, even at the edge.

  144. These are Joel’s exact words. This is all he has said:

    “Drew was also on the new cell phone account, and Drew paid for that phone, (the old phone was given to the the teenage son) so I don’t believe that the bills went to Stacy’s sister, (that is unless Stacy had some cell phone unknown to Drew). The new phone has not been found and to the best of our knowledge has not been used since Stacy disapeared.”

  145. I moved a 150# (weighs a bit more than me) pool heater out of the back of my SUV by backing it up to my porch and using two boogie boards to slide it down.

    It was too much, tho, to get it down the flight of stairs, so I left it there for the two techs to carry the rest of the way when they came to install it.

  146. I love the “I don’t believe” and “to the best of our knowledge.”

    They didn’t believe that she may have come to some kind of harm until last week either.

  147. Rescue, I think that’s why people were so excited about that first water search. If the cell phone pings put him near the waterway, andCass said he was out of breath, you could very well imagine him just rolling or dragging the container out of the Denali and into some water.

  148. Stacy had her own credit card … or a credit card that she was authorized to use because according to Cass, Stacy bought coffee or cocoa for the Salvation Army worker.

    She didn’t have cash; she used her credit card if I recall that right.

    *******************************

    I think the Quickrete is going to have to be mixed with water, put in the barrel/container and allowed to set up first.

    I’ve worked with concrete somewhat. Years ago helping my hubby build a slumpstone wall, and recently helping him pour a small garden walkway.

    My hubby ordered a cement cart. It comes from the cement yard with one square yard of cement in it, all mixed and ready to go. My husband was supposed to have a friend helping him, but that friend had an emergency, so I had to help as the cement sets up so fast.

    My job was to shovel the wet cement into a wheelbarrow and my husband would push that wheelbarrow to the location for the cement, leaving a second wheelbarrow for me to fill. We had to work fast as that cement set up so quick! When finished, my hubby had me washing out the cement cart as you have to bring it back clean, and washing out the two wheelbarrows. I’d say that cement was set up in a matter of 2 hours – to the point where I had to use a chisel on some of it stuck to the wheelbarrow.

  150. I’ve been thinking about DP’s 15-minute errand.

    Thanks to Sher69, I read (and posted) that only the younger two went to Sharon’s for candy the day Stacy disappeared.

    If the boys were at home, they may have heard DP come home … or could verify that DP did not come home.

    Someone thought he could have used the 15 minutes to talk to the older boys about what was going on without the younger ones hearing.

  151. I see that someone has asked JB if he would consider having DP answer questions directly at SYM.

    Not. Likely. IMO.

  152. Another thought about the two boys………………..

    When Sharon called the Peterson home at about noon on Oct. 28th and asked for Stacy, Kris answered the phone and was flustered – didn’t know what to say. Drew took the phone from him and spoke to Sharon, telling her that Stacy had gone to her grandpa’s.

    I think there’s a good possibility that at that point, at least one of the boys knew something had happened. Maybe not exactly what had happened, but knew that something was wrong.

    Kris’s reaction to Sharon’s call is not normal. The usual reaction would be to say, “hold on” and then yell for mom, or “dad, where’s mom, Sharon’s on the phone.” A teenager doesn’t get tongue-tied over a phone call, unless there’s something wrong.

  153. Thanks molly on the cement lesson. So a single bag of quikrete wouldn’t need more than a 5 gln bucket then, right? Just had my floors done and the tile layer would mix up a bag of thinset in the garage in a 5 gln with a drill-mixer.
    Not too messy, and you could line the tub with a disposable drop cloth, and have plenty of time to clean up and dispose of these items later (15 minutes to a dumpster);
    Just another thought/opinion

  154. Especially if the boys knew the plan for the day as being that they (all 4) and Stacy were going to paint.

    Or if they heard DP tell someone else some other story.

    Was it Kris who had heard them fighting (according to Ric Mims)? If so, that could have made him tongue -tied.

  155. lol When I talk to my nephews, I’m lucky if they’ve even paid attention to what I’ve said (their minds are usually on the video game that my phone call has interrupted).

  156. Re: Kris being tongue-tied … say he heard them fighting, heard Stacy ask for a divorce, then silence.

    Now Sharon asks for his mom.

    What’s he supposed to say?

    Drew takes the phone from him and (according to Sharon?) tells her that Stacy is visiting Grandpa. Now maybe that is different than what Drew had said to the kids. Maybe it’s different than what Kris knows.

    This is why the boys’ testimony is so important. And why Drew is opposed to it. IMO

  157. I think he had had to tell them something–maybe that mom has taken off, even that would make a kid flustered. If he knew more, then he would be even worse, I would assume. If he knew nothing, he would likely say- shes not here, I don’t know know where she is, or she left an hour ago. Here’s dad.

    Truth comes more easily.

  158. I just hope they haven’t been too confused by the time they testify, if they do. They know more than they think they know, probably.

  159. Ok , ill go off topic, and just want to let everyone know where I stand.

    I am very leary of JB posting on a blog and answering ?’s pertaining to client..
    I in no way , will ever ask him a ?..

    Im sorry but it is his job to cause a reasonable doubt.

    I along with the majority do believe he had something to do with KS supposed accidental drowning now homicide.

    I also believe SP was afraid for her life.
    I also believe he has something to do with her disappearance.

    There is a reason all of these women have come forward, and friends to testify their ill feelings of DP’s involvement.

    We are outsiders looking in, and speculating. Does anyone know better than family, or friends who have dealt with him?
    Absolutely not! IMO…

    As far as Stacy having a hand in covering for DP’s swat suit catch at the washer, I believe she put 2&2 together, and became more and more suspicious.

    I know there are alot of opinions , and this is NOT STATED for arguments sake, but only to state what I believe..

    I have had others state that being a FSP member, I have had my head stuck in the sand.. Some may see it that way, but I dont.

    I am just amazed that a attorney would be screwing around on internet blogs and forums..Infact I’ve been amazed at all of his behavior..Just like DP’s behavior..

    I wish for JUSTICE and PEACE as we all discuss it…

    Thanks again!

  160. Sher69,
    I only lurked at FSP and not on a regular basis. So, I wouldn’t consider myself influenced by what was posted at that forum.

    I base my conclusions on the facts in the case, and a lot of the “facts” as stated by Drew Peterson just don’t add up.

    I’ve listened to interviews with those who know him, and those interviews are very telling.

    I’ve read the documentation as provided by the letters sent to authorities by Kathleen Savio.

    My only conclusion is that Drew Peterson is responsible for the death of Kathleen Savio. He’s the only one who had the motive and the means.

    I also have to conclude that Drew Peterson is responsible for the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. I believe Stacy is deceased and it’s very possible her body will never be found. Again, Drew Peterson has the motive and the means.

  161. And let us not forget, he had the opportunity.

    He lived in the same neighborhood as Kathleen and had tried to return the children (who is to say he didn’t stop by on his own without them?).

    He was the last person to see Stacy alive. IMO

  162. I would have liked to have been able to discuss all aspects of the case at FSP.

    I was not able to do that, and had posts removed.

    I’m glad to find places where I can ask questions about Stacy and her family (if not Drew, then who?) and have the chance to get others’ input.

  163. Sher said- I am just amazed that a attorney would be screwing around on internet blogs and forums.
    ++++++++++++++++++

    maybe he just plays one on TV…..

  164. I will say that with what I know, I don’t see that anyone else is a suspect.

    But I don’t have all the information.

  165. Sher, I guess it’s all part of Joel’s master plan.

    We will just have to wait and sit back and be amazed.

    😀

  166. No really I think he just found it easier that trying to read everything written on every blog. Though I think they still monitor it all. He can get the same info here or at other sites, even more of the doubts actually.

    He’s definitely not looking for the DP supporters so much, except to host his questions.

    If a poll were taken Guilty/not guility at all these forums, what do you think the results would be?

  167. Liz, hard to say, since lots of people register and read, but don’t post … but I’d think that guilty would win out.

    Now *that” is a suggestion … a guilty/innocent poll on SYM. 😉

  168. I know FSP was a little over the edge, but it was also a support for her..Im glad I was able to support Cass..

    I went thru a trial myself when my loved one was murdered ,and I wish I had support.. I seen how defense attornies played and DOCTORS who dont know HX. can twist alot..

    Thats why I say the famiy and friends KNOW what he is capable of doing and HX. of…
    IMO!

  169. Yes, the Amazing Brodsky stuns audiences with disappearing timelines, pulling bikinis out of his hat, holding a big bag of tricks.

  170. Gotta run out to the Dominicks for the mushrooms. Guess the sun came out after all and we can grill!

    See ya’ll later, enjoy.

  171. Ya know what gets me is GRETA always asking for a timeline..

    Now C’MON,at least they know when to keep their mouths shut there…

    I would think that DP would keep trap shut all day long, as he knows it can incriminate him…

    I believe it should be all black or white here…
    Either you STHU, or sing like a bird

    What you say , can and will be used against you in a court of law..
    Thats why no more INERVIEWS!!!

  172. He must have said something quite wrong (incriminating) then to be banned from speaking again. I wonder which something . . .

    Okay I’m going now.

  173. Sher, here is JB explaining a little more about his media strategy:

    “Joel A. Brodsky said…
    I have commented before on our media strategy in the extreme high profile case of my client Drew Peterson. However, Drew was only a suspect, and had not been charged. In the Hawkins case LP is blogging on Mr. Hawkins has been indicted. When a defendant has been indicted I believe the more traditional advise of “say nothing” should be followed. Also, I don’t believe the Hawkins case falls in the category of the “extreme high profile” case where my media strategy would apply. Therefore, I don’t know if this interview with Nancy Grace was such a good idea. Further, I don’t think Nancy Grace is the correct venue for a defendant. While Nancy is a very pleasant and genuine person off camera, she is very abrasive on camera. I did not put Drew on Nancy’s show for a reason. He did the Today show, Larry King, Dan Abrams and Greta Van Sustren, and we were well prepared for the interviews (with the exception of the second Today show (my first, Drew’s second)- but I was still learning at the time).”

  174. He pretty much said in the video clip that Sher posted yesterday that now that his client had been charged with a crime, he’d be shutting up.

    That appears to be his strategy. Woo.

  175. From JB “He did the Today show, Larry King, Dan Abrams and Greta Van Sustren, and we were well prepared for the interviews (with the exception of the second Today show (my first, Drew’s second)- but I was still learning at the time).”

    ——————————–

    Hello? But he was still learning? So who was in charge of the show? DP chose the lawyer, even that he could manipulate and overpower as usual; underqualified until bringing in the PR guy.
    JB must have more sense than ever letting him go on the Morning shows.
    Calling it loss control?? He’s been backsliding for 6 months. Too late IMO.

  176. Sorry, JMHO

    I’m sure JB is good at some types of law, but I think he was unprepared for what Drew was going to hand him. He seems much more relaxed without the DP next to him, worrying about what he will say next.

  177. Liz,
    I feel that the state did know of barrel being to short back in Nov….

    However I do believe they waited for the guns to be actually ready to be handed back to him, and they filed a charge. I do not believe it was harrassment either..If a former cop does not apply protocol to his weapon, it is against the law period.

    If ISP returned that rifle, they would not be doing there job, so hence they knew he was hounding for guns, and filed a charge classIII.

    Either you follow the law, or you break it…NO, i do not believe it was a ploy for pension nabbing…IMO!!!

  178. I agree that Brodsky is totally over his head with this client. He thinks he’s taken a big coupe in representing Drew, but in reality any big defense attorney took one look at the case and gave it the thumbs down. He’s not a celebrity, and he’s most certainly guilty.

    If they had expressed any interest, do you think JB would be there?

  179. No clue I say, about the breadth of this client.

    Where are you bash? Hope your day is memorable and that no one offends the road you’re on (old irish proverb).

  180. I don’t know the history, but what is this about a visine person sneaking into my county.

    Does she have double vision, red eyes or just merely uncomfortable with her eyes open?
    Can she cure my dry eyes?

  181. No, my county, or at least somewhere in Illinois, all the way from California. Maybe we can switch, I’m not liking this Illinois spring weather.

  182. Good for U. Yay, it’s summer! Ours is opening next week. Can’t wait except that I have 50 nieces/nephew/kids/friends and marquerita mongers that I have a hard time keeping up with. Maybe it’s time to retire.

    The Osterizer always gets itself quite the work out eh?

  183. Do any of you know where Scott15 worked … where the construction site was that he was talking about?

    Scott, are you out there somewhere?

  184. Noway that construction site I was talking about is in BB, between 53 and Quadrangle Dr, and between Lilly Cache and Remington Blvd, the site I was talking about they just put up the frame of the building (finally), they had started the ground work on it about a few weeks before Stacy went missing.

  185. Scott, Have you been out to the cemetary at Zion lutheran church at 111th and book? Creepy, my newphew & I were pulled there , I thought the quarry was more likely, but then my neph told me about how many crypts were open in old cemetaries. He had been dreaming of Stacy being under the rocks, like a movable cement crypt or an indian type burial under rocks.

    We went around the fences and scoped it out, quite small, but with a rock pile within a drainage sewer toward the back. Didn’t go in, too sacred.

    What about him going to Cushing Field in Newark on the 28th Oct 07 , to apply an FAA sticker. What’s with that?

    Our boats are in Wisconsin & we don’t apply the Stickers we are going to be there using them. WTH?

  186. No Liz I haven’t been to Zion cemetary.

    Does anyone know the pond that is by the weight station on the BB side, you use to be able to reach it from Frontage until they tore it out, now you can only reach it by driving thru the business park area. I’m just wondering if that has been searched.

  187. Noway, I just went outside for a view minutes and that constuction site could have people or vehicles there and I wouldn’t have a clue that they are there with how dark it is there unless they make some noise.

  188. Are you speaking of the site on the SW side of 111th and book? I’ll get out there this week again and see, it really struck me a couple of times when my nephew was looking up the hill at the graveyard, but what I saw was the quarries to the west.

    I went back to ric mims tape today about Dp going out to cushing to put on an FAA sticker on the Sunday Stacy went missing. Why oh why choose that day to do this?

    Have there been a lot of searches out toward Newark? I have been to some sites out there (Ottawa, YVille, Morris) but it is quite vast and countrified and with his advantage of aerial one is at a loss.

    My other hit was on Channahon and the area that Vaughan left his family. They seem to be searching that area now, so we’ll see. Just too many quarries along the river beds. And then so many rivers.

  189. Liz, I’m talking about a place in Bolingbrook, DP would be about 5 minutes from it, and I’m not sure how often the pond is fished anymore because you have to park in a business parking lot to reach it and when I was there about 2 yrs ago I was told I can’t park there by an employee.
    To make sure I’m understanding this right, he was putting a sticker on a boat that should actually be put away since it was October?
    I’m finishing up here at work, I’ll be on when I get home.

  190. No, he was in Newark putting his 08 FAA sticker on the lightweight Aquilla parked at cushing.
    A cop would know all the quiet biz parks for sure.

    ie….

    In South Elgin one day I sneaked back into the trolley park to take some pics of train parts, (abstracts) and was worried when I noticed a cop car parked in the lot abutting it, that I was gonna be busted. Tucked away behind the home plate structures I could see the front end of the car. I went to let him know I was trespassing but without malice, and he was freaking A S L E E P .

    So I took a picture.

    Haven’t gotten a ticket in that town since.

  191. yallo deeny,
    can you get on with it? If there is a threat to my safety please contact the ISP.

    If you haven;’t gotten the news yet, there is no blue barrell, it is a red herring.

    Nothing more or less thank you, go away if you have nothing important to say.

    Do you want me to go on and on about me and my dogs adventures thru the western suburbs and the farmland beeyond?

    Dog pees, dog poops, dog gets excited about oppossum skeleton discovered. Dog drinks water and rolls in mud. Pisses me off but I have a towel.

  192. If there’s visine in DuPage county, please get me some cuz I’m having trouble seeing through the crap right in front of me.

    Fac, I’m disappointed. Lizanne can’t get it out, you can’t get it in. Time to go to bed girls. See you tomorrow.

  198. Arrest, do you know what areas they have searched in BB? There’s a few areas I was asking about earlier and I haven’t heard if they have been searched or not.

  199. Right now I’m just worried if we’re gonna survive the storm that is about to hit (tornado watch until 3am). If you don’t see me for a while, assume my HP desktop went flying.

    Good look to anyone else in the path of this stuff.

  200. Fac, good luck with the storm. Looks like one is coming here, guess I should check the weather more often.

  201. Sorry mr/ms fascinating. What was your question? I’m a lowly dog farmer from the country. But I do a search a week in this countryside and work the dobes well.

    I apologize if I’m not on que with the bravo dog, but take it elsewhere is all I’m saying.

  203. Is that enought to go on? I’m sorry fascinating that I don’t provide a stimulating sentence at every turn, but as you know we cannot alll have a moment of silence, eh?

  204. Where are you guys from; deeny, Facs, and fascinating people? Scotty I think you’re from Joliet? or is that Jolliette?
    Sorry, my other bro is from Morris & he ran for some Dem office down there. We did the parade thing for the corn festival. Good time really.

  205. The 3 day trip can, just going by the excuse of having to clear his head. Is he clearing because she left and he’s depressed or is it wow I never expected the media attention, what do I do now? For what he may have done during that time, it’s enough to drive a person crazy trying to figure that out.

  206. Sorry Scott. They don’t divulge the search areas and tell everyone that if they have participated in the searches then they can’t say where they have searched.

    You might want to try to send a message to their gmail? I dunno.

  207. I do know they’re down by Channahon, ie Mugsy’s bar. I thought those quarries straight down weber rd were suspicious, esp south of the channel at channahon. I think his cockiness shows there’s a distance from BB involved.

  208. Really Liz? Brodsky and DP keep saying BB in all their interviews, that they won’t find her under a bush in BB? The more that those two say not in BB, makes me think that she IS in BB?

    Just a thought.

  209. His cockiness does make you think it’s a distance but maybe that is what he wants everyone to think. Plus would anybody really think an exPD would get rid of a body in his own town? He is cocky enough to do just that.

  210. Wayne, where the hell is that at, IL is where I live. More horses that people, Scott. 2200 pepes, 10,000 horses.
    I just live here with the dogs and lots of boys. Reading, researching, writing, and breeding the most wonderful golden retrievers. Also tending the fruits (4 boys, 10 siblings and a husband and 35 nieces/nephews) busy busy. Love this forum though, makes me doubt my role as the matriarch. I crave criticism.

  211. Cocky is all I see. Does he not get that that is not charming? Mother warned me about charming you know, the reserve of narcissism.

  212. So is that why I have heard females flock over him, that he’s cocky and their mother’s warned them about charming men? And since cocky isnt charming, they go to him?

  213. IMO. He has preyed on young, troubled women (girls) that didn’t have such a wonderful childhood.

    I believe that the only reason that any woman would “flock” to him now is to thy to gain fame and attention.

    I challenge him to find a real woman that is the same age as him, it would last about 2 seconds.

  214. I challenge him to find an intelligent woman who would stand up to a disagreement with him. What a crapload of personality defects! My husband at least walks away when I speak of republicans

  215. arrest
    A co worker of mine had seen Drew at a retirement party for a fire fighter and she was in shock with all the females hanging on Drew. She said she could maybe understand it if he was good looking but she said he is real ugly.
    I do agree with him preying on young troubled women, because older women who have life experience won’t pt up with his bs.

  216. I had also heard from a waitress that one night when Drew was in the bar she works females were flocking around him there too. She said they were even buying him drinks. I hope they were doing that so he would slip and say something about Satcy.

  217. Yeah Scott, pretend you’re an abbrasive type and maybe you’ll get his cast offs But then I’m an old lady now, and my way has always been to talk softly (it makes the kids withdraw and come close) and carry a big stick (ie wooden spoon. But theres plenty of girls at my pool all summer hitting on our boys (14-24), but I think you’re too nice to hit on the chicks just for being chicks, eh?

  218. Liz. I actually heard that Stacy did stick up to him. I guess that may not have been the smartest approach? They say that if you are abused or in fear, you don’t challenge them. You get out when they are gone.

    Scott. He is very ugly. I really hope that he will not have a chance to hurt another woman. IMO

  219. True, I’m getting sleepy (and maybe a little whippy), but don’t want to pass this up. If Drew went to Cushing in Newark on the 28th, why, why, why? Must be more to it than just putting the FAA sticker on the plane.

  220. I thought that he went to Clow Airport to put the sticker on his plane?

    Ok, off to bed. Thanks for the conversation.

  221. No, his plane was at Cushing in Newark, IL, SW of BB at least 20 miles. Clow was where Stacy’s Pontiac purple grand prix was found.

  222. Sorry, there’s thunder and my big baby Grace (5 yr olds golden retriever) has to go up to the closet now and find a spot to rest with my shoes until after the 4th of July. Firecrackers have been going off all day, I dont know if it’s just the Kane County Cougars or the neighbors, but sometimes I can’t wait til she goes deaf.

  223. Scott, thanks for the info on the construction. I’m sorry that you work so much … hope you have time for fun too. Life is short.

  224. Morning All

    how is it going today for you ? having nice day off work, Iam don’t have to work tonight but tuesday I do till 2am yikes boo hoo

  227. A little tired. I stayed up too late last night. Once the kids are in bed I lose track of time. When it’s my own it flies by.

    Why do you call yourself lugnut, do you know anything about cars? Is $1250 too much to pay for brakes & pads on all four wheels? I think I’m being gouged.

    LIzanne,

    Oh bummer, I lose time at work lol… or at home as well just like you. my son love to stay up playin video games as his dad does….

    YOUR FUNNY that name is part of my maiden name , in school they would call us lugnut but it is just like the name of a drum set … for the full name lol..

    YES that is way to much to pay call around look for coupoons on line at some places like brakes plus also meiniky ….. I payed only 80.00 for all 4 brakes . and have to get the rest done like you .
    HUBBY does my brakes on both cars so that way it is cheaper to get from autozone ….. if you have anyone to do it for you that way cost less. do you know of someone that can do it for you ??? if so ask them and you would make them lunch or dinner for doing that job..

  229. LIZANNE,

    GET a repair book for the car that your son or daughter needs work on. it tells ya how to change brakes and other things , we have them for both cars helps alot.. not hard to do your self , I called around for mine they wanted at least 200 just for the front , mine make noise so hubby needs to do the calipers on mine that will cost 50 to fix our selfs …. way way cheaper..

  230. Normally I would have my brother or nephew do it, but its a german car and they’re not so sure about it.

    Normally I would have my brother or nephew do it, but its a german car and they’re not so sure about it.

    IS it a volvo , ?? we have 2 of them and oh my really small brakes … not hard at all. just get a book for the car it will help it is just like other cars but easier to do ….

  232. LIZANNE ,

    HUBBY was not sure either but tryed him self and said not hard at all. it only took about half hr to do them …… and read how to .. get a chilton book or a hays one

  233. Yes, I think I will get the chilton manual on it. I find a lot online but the whole manual is better.

    No, Volvo is a good car. Its an old benz. moneypit.

  234. Lugnut, my hubs more than the kids is always online playing video games. Call of Duty etc, I used to tease him that his social life was all online, but now I’m meeting so many mostly cool people on line that I understand him better.

    However I think it’s funny that my introverted lab rat husband has given himself the name “bloodclot.” My 16 year old is some kind of clot too. Ish.

  235. lizanne,
    OH that is a bummer , I was talking to my mom she said yes they are a money pit .. maybe should get a different car , we had money pit of a chevy blazer wasting money on that an finally got ride of it … the main seal was goingg in that truck… sold it as is …

    but get it fixed your self cheaper though and good luck..

  237. Just wanted to pop in to tell everyone hello, and I hope you all have a safe Memorial Day. My almost three year old granddaughter has been visiting since Friday, so I’ve been REALLY busy…and no Rescue, haven’t had time to lurk, but did try to catch up with the posts last night after she left. Have a great day y’all. BBL.

    If you have sons or a boyfriend who play Call of Duty, you’d know. That phrase is shouted about evey 5 minutes during game play.
    🙂

  240. And really loudly shouted in my house ! !

    and a lot of AWWWW–COME ON MAN ! ! !

    (that means shots went right thru someone, a cheater most likely).

  241. Oh Facs, I don’t know which would be worse!!! Guess there are some postitves to being an empty nester! My husband has never played a video game in his life. Well, except for computer solitare, and that will ocassionally make him raise his voice.

    YES you should that would get him out of your hair lol.. I leave and when I get back he is like were did I go and I would say I told you lol and he goes back to playing , some times I have to stand infront of tv to get his attention lol..
    YOUr hubby would love that …

  246. EXACTLY!! But he would probably think I had lost my mind. Although, it would be nice to have something to occupy his time when he’s home besides wanting me to be right next to him every move he makes. He is definitely not the video game playing type of guy. It’s funny just to try to visualize it, LOL! I bet my granddaughter could show him how to play it though!

  247. Yes I do get a lot of shopping done!! Visiting my mom/sister for hours doesn’t phase him anymore either.

    After 24 years its about time I get some free time!

  248. Liz, I used to try to play online Scrabble (I think they called it something else) but people would take soooooo long to take their turn, that I’d get frustrated.

  250. Well, I’m leaving you all in the hands of Gatehouse. Will be interesting to see what has been filtered when I come back tonight. Have a good afternoon!

  251. cfs- good idea getting him a computer. I was actually jealous of my husbands time on it at first, but then I learned to take advantage of my new found free time. A much better balance all around.

  252. Hi truth, are you the one that said you fooled around with the infrared photog? Photoshop is fun, online gaming and brake repair, not so much.

  253. truth…yes…sharon told those people about blood…ask them. maybe you should post it at Lavanda’s b/c they all told her that too! I don’t know if it’s true but ISP should be talking to Smootch, Littlemama, KathyinJoliet, Mia, Mary2. They shared this with many others at Lavanda’s. I was NEVER told this by Sharon but they claim that she has said that, amoung other things.

    Prediction that the ISP will be knocking on their doors and Sharon’s too! They are STUPID for sharing details. Shame on them and the person that told them this stuff.

    THERE IS MUCH MORE THAT THEY KNOW!

  254. Gatehouse page is fine for me, do you if reporters will report seeing Drews younger boys go into the GJ or is their a restriction on that?

  255. Gatehouse page is fine for me, do you know if reporters will report seeing Drews younger boys go into the GJ or is their a restriction on that?

  256. truth –
    If they are seen, it will be reported. But authorities or whoever would take them to the grand jury could take extra precautions to prevent them from being seen.

  257. This is working fast enough for me … and I’m usually one of the early ones it slows for.

    Thanks, Gatehouse, for being on top of things. Forgive me for saying that I hope the boys get in and out without being seen.

  258. so true

    I do hope the boys testify; bad for them, but I’m sure they know more than they think. When there is ongoing fighting in a household, don’t you think that little ears are in tune with it? My kids have always worried that a fight could mean divorce. And we rarely raise our voices. We just make sure that the kids see resolution to any disagreements we have.
    But one of a kids greatest fears is that the parents will divorce so I think they try harder to hear what’s going on.

  259. Liz, if you avatar is your dog … she looks like she is speaking to all of us … those eyes !

    Now … during my morning read-through of articles that I hadn’t read before, I came across something that I wanted to bring up here. Waited too long and promptly forgot it when I got here … so I’m going to go back and see if I can find what caught my eye to discuss. I may have to close this down, but I’ll be back every 15 or so until I find it.

  260. Yes thats my Uma

    What are you noway, my age? I don’t know how many times I’ve done that. I started putting my interesting posts onto a wordpad while I’m online, and my own comments too. That way you don’t lose them if you want to refresh before posting.

  261. Liz, I’m 44 … okay, almost 45. 😀

    I had been looking for something else, which I found, but read this other thing in the meantime and wanted to remember to ask about it.

    Thought I’d remember … read posts to catch up … and whatever was in my head — gone!

    Well, I found something else …

    Sharon says she went to the grocery store at 9:40ish and saw both cars in the driveway. When she returned at about noon, only the Denali was in the driveway (but Drew was there because she talks with him).

    This isn’t the thing I found this a.m., but I’m wondering now …

    Was the only errand the grocery store? Long time to be gone (2 hours 20 minutes)?

    Not sure how far away grocery store is. I’m raising this because I’m trying to create a fairly accurate timeline based on the other timelines.

    From 10:28 (end of call with Bruce) to 11:55 (call from Sharon) must have been the time DP allegedly rendered Stacy unconscious and/or killed her.

    If we had more details from other eyewitnesses (Drew’s teen boys) we could narrow it down more.

    Rip this apart or agree … don’t matter to me. Let’s talk!

  262. I’m pretty sure the Dominicks is close. Meijer is even closer. Even with feeding 4 big 6’4″ and under boys plus their friends and the hub, I get my groceries in under 1-1/2 hours.
    Must have done other things, IMO.

  263. It wouldn’t surprise me if Drew drove Stacy’s car to Clow during that time and then walked back home.

  264. One other thing I read is that Stacy had plans to move into the house the family had rented for Yelton (her brother).

    For those who were concerned that her family had not helped her when she expressed her fear.

    I think this was on the Q/A for Joel and that he said Drew was not aware of this plan. But I’m not completely sure where I read it.

    I think I’ll just give the whole thing a rest and do some housework … see if it comes to me again. I’ll leave the computer on and Wordpad open. 🙂

  265. cfs7360 // May 26, 2008 at 2:09 pm

    It wouldn’t surprise me if Drew drove Stacy’s car to Clow during that time and then walked back home.
    _____________
    Okay … so how long is that … airport about 15 minutes from house? Ten minutes to walk? Anyone know?

  266. It was SYM Noway. I saw it too, and was not aware that was a plan of hers. Maybe it’s just speculation, who knows? There’s so much floating around with this case, it’s hard to know truth from fiction.

  267. The younger teen told Cass that Stacy had left after the fight, but I wonder if he actually saw her leave, or if that’s what Drew told him.

  268. Drew could have sent them all to their rooms, or to the basement, then left in her car, walked home, and told them all she had left. They were probably all scared to death with a fight going on, and from what I’ve read, it certainly wasn’t an unusual event in their home, so they may have all retreated to the basement until it was over, or were sent down there, unaware of what Drew was doing.

    *******************************

    Noway, I think Sharon said she left to do errands. That included the grocery store, but could also include other stops along the way.

  270. Okay … this is running slow for me now.

    It was rumored that Mike Robinson had moved Stacy’s car to Clow for Drew . . . but would he have moved the car without Stacy? IMO if DP was going to involve anyone in this, it would be someone like MR.

    So if MR came by, they could have put Stacy in the trunk (or Mike could have kept the kids occupied while DP did it … or the other way around).

    So … she is in the trunk and MR moves the car to Clow where it sits until DP brings it back around 2:30 a.m.

    Not knowing what time DP left house that night … but at 11 p.m. when Cass came by, he was not there and neither was Stacy’s car. At 2:30 a.m., when she and Bruce drove by, both cars were there.

    So is this the time DP gets rid of the body? Is MR helping him …

    Hey! Found this … we knew we read it somewhere!

    Quote: At 2:30 p.m. the day Stacy disappeared, Drew Peterson called out from work saying he could be at his shift because his wife was gone and he needed to stay home with his children, according to Lt. Ken Teppel.

    Stacy Peterson still missing; Drew Peterson still denying

    By M&C US News Dec 25, 2007, 20:37 GMT

    http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/usa/news/article_1383137.php/Stacy_Peterson_still_missing_Drew_Peterson_still_denying

  271. Noway, I heard Ric Mims say it was about a five minute walk from Drew’s house. Really, don’t have a clue other than what Mims said.

  272. I read somewhere the Mike Robinson was who moved the car back home supposedly after Drew “found” it at Clow.

  273. I still think he called in too early; if she was just at grandpa’s how does he know she won’t be home in time for him to get to work by 5pm?

    Any cell records that he was trying to get a hold of her during those midday hours?

  274. Lizanne, Stacy’s car was already gone when Sharon got home, that’s why I think he took it over himself, and then told the kids she left.

  275. I was just going to say I thought that was too late. I was thinking of sharons phone call to the peterson house time, which was more like noon.

  276. So … 15 minutes to drive the car and return … and so maybe MR not involved in that part of it anyway.

    And yes, we thought 2:30 was early to call in and say that your wife wasn’t home … but JB said DP called in sick. Period. Nothing about the wife not being home and him having to watch the kids.

    If you didn’t have to be to work until 5, it doesn’t seem that you’d be calling in at 2:30 … he probably wouldn’t have had to leave until 4:30 or so to be there by 5?

    So calls to Stacy around 3:45 … 4 … asking the kids if they knew where she was … 4:15 … asking Sharon or Cass if they’d heard from her … 4:30 …

    And yes, DP could have just wanted to take the day off … but this day of all days? Of all the bad luck for him.

    About Sharon … yes, I’ve seen “errands” in a timeline and “grocery store” so wanted to hear what others knew.

  277. The only thing that bothers me about him taking the car and walking back is that surely someone would have seen him and remembered when all of this came to light. At least you’d think so anyway. Unless, he had on a cap and sunglasses and looked so inconspicuous that nobody noticed him.

  278. He’s good at disguise. Maybe a sweat suit, hat and glasses looking like a jogger.

    His luck was with him, it seems.

  279. Okay. I’m back to thinking MR could have moved the car since it was gone when Sharon returned from her errands.

    So if the car is there and Stacy in it, then maybe the nightstand (NS, Sher!) and other stuff was in the blue container (barrel, tub, tote) that Tom Morphey helped move. Or maybe absolutely nothing related to the case was in there and DP did this on purpose, being sure that he could act mysterious enough that Tom would start to imagine that he had moved a body … and DP coudl discredit him and move everyone’s attention away from the real crime.

    I think the 15 minutes could have been to organize and remove from public view the stuff he said Stacy took.

    Also remember that he left TM in the coffee shop … so he had time here to do more than just make a phone call to his phone from Stacy’s.

    And the moving of the barrel could be, as many suspect, a red herring.

  280. cfs, we have no idea if anyone saw him or not. We know their are witnesses that have not said anything in the public.

  281. Noway, I think if she had been in that car while it was at the airport, there would have been evidence of it, and Drew would already be arrested.

  282. cfs, my car is purple (1997). When we bought it, the car dealer said it was a special color and we wouldn’t see many around like it. We laughed, because we’d seen one in the town we lived in, which was the only reason I was considering a PURPLE car. Technically, mine is called plum.

    But trust me, they are everywhere. At least in MT. Not sure about IL.

    Also, mine looks black on cloudy days. Photo on candyrose makes me think Stacy’s is similar to mine.

  283. No offense Noway!! I see a few of them in Alabama too, but not many, and they do stand out a little, depending on the color purple they actually are, LOL.

  284. cfs, not if she was alive (no hit from cadaver) … and what kind of evidence other than that … it was her car … so he hair and skin would be in the trunk assuming she used it for anything.

    But I’ll go with that … so they or he just move the car. So where is Stacy … does he do something with her during the 15 minutes?

    Did Sharon say he “drove off in the Denali”?

  285. Truth, I wondered why acandyrose had the cars on her website, but that’s a good point.

    And I remember reading a post somewhere by a person who’d been on a country road near their house in Peoria and they saw a car they later believed was Stacy’s (around the time she was “spotted” in Peoria).

    Anyway, maybe someone did come forward and said they saw the car. And ISP is just keeping their collective mouths shut.

    Does BB have cameras at interesections for those that run red lights? Or for speeding …?

  286. Noway, I think it is funny that the ISP wanted info on the cars but they never asked the public if they saw Drew anywhere.

  287. I’ve seen alot posted about Drew’s whereabouts those 3 days he went on the head-clearing trip.

    I will tell you, it was VERY cold here that weekend. I remember, because I saw him leave his house on the motorcycle and thought it was awful cold to be riding one that nite.

    To go north to Wisconsin, it would have been even colder, so the story of him going to Wis. on his motorcycle that time of year, just seems odd!

    Also, how did he return home if he left his motorcycle in Wis.?

    And, we know the motorcycle did not come home, so still the question, how did he get home?

    Was there evidence on that motorcycle?

  288. Hello Everyone!

    Care to dance the Tinikling today?
    It is performed by jumping and dancing over long poles to music. Kinda of reminds me of a few peoples around the internet. Jumping and dancing around.

    Good Bye
    GeneGene
    The Dancing Machine

  289. Noway, I understand what you’re saying. I meant if she was dead in the car, and somehow, Ican’t believe he would take her to the airport alive and leave her there all day long and half the night…..alive. My belief is that he killed her in the bedroom, possibly put her in the bathroom (tub or shower) and told the kids she was taking a bath and getting ready to go somewhere (Grandpa’s maybe). Then he took the car, came back, and told them she had left. He may have even locked her in the bathroom for all I know to keep the kids out, and unlocked the door when he came home. We have these little pins that stick in the doors to unlock them if they accidentally get locked. Easy to do. These are just theories of mine. Nothing more, and I’m sure they can all be shot full of holes!! LOL.

  290. I just remembered what I was going to ask!

    Drew apparently asked Sharon if SHE would move Stacy’s car to HER driveway.

    Sharon said she did not feel comfortable moving anything the police would want to search.

    Drew said that if she wore gloves, that it would be okay.

    Sharon did not move the car.

    NOW I just have to find where I read that.

    luvpups, we’ll see if Joel answers the question about the motorcycle and when it was brought to Wisconsin and how he got back. I have read that he was dropped at the corner (I assume by the old friend?) but we’ll see.

  291. cfs, if she was put in the tub or shower, wouldn’t the dogs have hit there too?

    I just think she was alive when she left that house. Bound and gagged and unconscious but alive.

  292. I should have added, then he put her in something after he came home…the tote, the cable box, the barrel, or whatever…and then….Tom Orphey may have actually helped more her to Drew’s truck and he disposed of her somewhere else. As for the motorcyle….I think he left on it, rented a truck, and drove it to wherever he left it, turned the truck back in when he got back to town and walked home.

  293. I’ve reasked the motorcycle to madison story question on SYM- Joel stepped around it the first time.

    Noway I read that too. Sounds like he was trying to cover something with Sharons fingerprints. Setting her up or clearing him somehow.

    If was also the car that DP wouldn’t let them search without a warrant.

  294. I agree on the truck or trailor to wisconsin idea. He would have a good excuse to rent something and it would not be good evidence as there are many renters.

    But he also screwed up on his answer to me because he said that DP did not reconnect with the madcity friend until a month after stacy went missing, but he reportedly moved the bike up there the weekend after she went missing! !

    No answers from JB yet on that one.

  295. Maybe MR moved the car and DP met him somewhere (the 15 minute errand) and they made additional plans.

    Or MR was not involved at all.

    He could have moved the car to the airport and it wasn’t there all day. He says he is going to look for Stacy, drives to the airport, gets her car, and drives to wherever he disposes of her.

    Or he could have driven to MR’s and MR drives him to the airport, which is why nobody sees the Denali on the road (if they have not).

  296. What about him going to Cushing airport in newark on the day she went missing? That is odd to drive all that way to put an FAA sticker on the ultralight, tho it didn’t need them til January. While your wife is missing.

  297. Did you guuys look at the other timeline I listed from proboards?
    Oh stink , I couldnt post link..

    Its a dang good timeline..

    Remember P.Bosco reporting that we may be looking for more than 1 blue barrel?

    I only thought the babies went to Sharons, now i see, as some have said, it may have been all 4..

    Dang it ,Im flustered…

    I really do not see purple cars here in ILL., and as far as the cameras, it was said, and not officially- no cameras..

    Sheesh if ya look on http://www.amw.com
    youll see MIMS on and him looking for blue barrels…

    Remember annie54, she has the good timeline, or click on my name and it shows her link.

    ______________

    This has always seemed very suspicous to me. Apparently he took the kids with him on that trip though, so if the purpose of that trip was to hide or dispose of evidence the kids would have seen it.

    Still, not impossible to imagine.

  299. Facsmiley!!!!! Thank you for asking that question!!!!!! When I read it I thought for the very first time that he took the kids to the airport to get them out of the house while his helper moved things out of the house!!!! That has to be it.

  300. He may have gotten rid of something along the way, purse etc.
    I hadnt heard that the kids were with him. facs, just what mims said about DP saying that’s the only place he went that day.

  301. I believe the sticker business was to explain why he was in this area.

    I believe he got rid of evidence between his house and there.

    Does anyone know whether he went up in his plane? Evidence could be anywhere.

  302. Truthis – yes, the timing of that trip just seems very strange.

    Imagine taking a carload of kids all that way and then turning around and driving back with them.

    I guess he could say it was necessary since Stacy was missing and he didn’t want to leave the kids alone, but the trip itself was in no way necessary.

  303. Noway, you’re right about nothing about the dogs hitting in the bathoom, but I did hear bedroom, and the bathroom is right off of it. He could have also left her in the bed and locked the door. I mean, there are just so many possibilites here, and if he’s reading all of this, I’m sure he’s getting a kick out of all of us trying to figure it out, don’t you imagine?? I really believe also that he disposed of some evidence and possibly even Stacy on that 3 day trip. I’ve said all along he had too much time to do things after she went missing, and who knows if the ISP was on his tail when he left. Haven’t heard that they were, but they might have been.

  304. I had not heard he took the kids to Cushing either, but it must have been said or printed somewhere if you guys know for sure he did.

  305. Not likely that he went up if the kids were with him.

    He could’ve just stopped at McD’s and used the trash there.

    I’m not sure about DP involving anyone at this stage of the game, as in moving the package from the house. He already is going to have TM to help him later. Mistake to have another witness around, and I don’t think MR is as malleable as TM was. Drew knew to use the less credible, and MR wasn’t in any trouble at that juncture.

    More likely to enlist him after the fact, like Steve C.

  306. So if you ARE reading this. . . . where is she? You could become famous by telling Hollywood your story, and all the lurid details of your marriage.

    Fame & dates with (likeminded psychopathic) girls will come your way in no time.

  307. I found an uncorroborated story about DP that mentions him taking the kids but when I tried to read the story itself, my computer locked up and it’s taken me a long time to get back here.

    I searched for “Drew Peterson” and “Cushing” and “stickers” if anyone else wants to give it a try.

  308. 01/28/2008 (www.mandjshow.com) – The moring show with Mike and Juliet
    “Long-time Friend of Drew Peterson Speaks Out” (Ric Mims Interview)
    RIC MIMS: The only thing I found out so far, that he has told me personally, is that he drove down to the airport [Cushing Field] where he kept his ultra light plane to put his FAA stickers on, which aren’t due till the first of the year and we’re talking he went down on the day she went missing. – MIKE: What do you think happened? – MIMS: I believe he buried her somewhere down near the airport.
    ——————————————————————————–

    Scroll down to January 28, 2008

  309. I don’t think mims mentioned a time, but it had to be after 1:30. Killed a couple hours with that drive.

  310. It doesn’t say anything about the children being with him though, and he certainly wouldn’t have buried her there with them along I wouldn’t think. He’s not THAT stupid!!

  311. Evening All

    Noway in regards to the house that Stacy was going to paint with Bruce, I was under the impression they were painting it so Yelton could get his security deposit back.

    It’s just recently that I have heard it was for Stacy to move into.

    Do you know who said it was for her to move into?

  312. I believe that the idea of Stacy moving into that property is a (recent) rumor.

    Everything I’ve read has stated that the house was being repainted becuase Yelton was going back to prison and they needed to get rid of the stripes so they could get the security back.

    AFAIK Stacy asked about renting a property from Pam Bosco (Aunt Candy?) but there was nothing available. It appears to me that after consulting with the divorce lawyer shortly after that she decided that Drew should be the one to leave the home, told him she spoke to him on the 26th (? ) and told him she wanted him out and gave him a deadline of October 31st. She started packing his things up and putting them in the garage. Sharon saw her sitting at the end of the driveway in tears.

    She disappeared on the 28th.

  313. Thanks Facs….I thought that might be a rumor as I hadnt heard it before, but now its making sense.

    Just goes to show how little we really know, huh?

  314. I’m sitting here just imagining what must have gone through Drew’s mind if she told him that! ME???? Leave a house that I bought and paid for, while you’re running around with other men (or so he says)???? You think I’M going to leave????

  315. cfs, that story never rang true with me, Stacy sittting on the curb and crying.

    I think if she was the upset, she had plenty of plcaes to go and shed a tear, namely Sharons home.

    But who knows.

  316. How are ya’ll doin figuren this stuff out?
    Alot of rumors and specs to sort thru..
    So much has been said, and covered ,,,I forget some…

  317. Being young and not wise to, when the woman opens her yap, and dont get me wrong,,Im not saying this is for sure what happened in Stacy’s case; When you open your yap, and stand up in a abusive case, and shoot your mouth off, thats when you find out just how abusive they are.. Been there, did that.

  318. So whatever happened with the house they were renting for Yeltin? I mean with Stacy missing, it was not a priority to paint it and get the deposit back … but is that what was done?

    I had only recently heard it … was a Q posted for Joel to answer. He said DP had not been aware of that plan (paraphrased).

  319. As far as this statement: He then claimed Stacy called him and told him her car was at the airport, and that she was flying to Jamaica with $25,000 in cash.

    http://cbs2chicago.com/local/stacy.peterson.missing.2.480970.html

    Joel says that Drew never has stated PUBLICLY that Stacy left with her bikini and $25,000 cash. He’s not saying that he didn’t say it, just that he has not stated it publicly.

    At least that was my interpretation of his answer.

  320. There is one thing to standing up and defending yourself, and then there is another.

    Stacy blatantly went out to meet Scott, even with Drew asking her not too, that is defiant.

    None of the Cales seem like wall flowers to me, they seem to be able to handle life and all that has been thrown at them.

    And I’ll bet he said something like that too. And then she said, “If you try to stop my I’ll tell what you did to Kathleen!”

  322. letthetruthbefree // May 26, 2008 at 6:06 pm

    Stacy blatantly went out to meet Scott, even with Drew asking her not too, that is defiant.
    *****************************

    Remember, she met a group of nursing students at Denny’s, one of which was Scott. It was a group.

  323. Maybe she did it to show Drew he did not have the control over her that he once had?

    I don’t know.

    IMO, if you are afraid for your life when it comes to your husband, you don’t do stuff that is going to piss him off.

  324. Noway, I hope you didnt think I meant it as she “must” obey.

    I would have hoped she would have maybe respected his wishes that she didnt go meet some man, that Drew never even met.

    It’s odd behavior, just like his can be odd also.

    I dont think anyone of us would be thrilled if our spouse came up to and said they were going out to meet someone of the opposite sex.

  325. …of course if Drew had already accessed her phone/computer and seen the racy texts…it probably wouldn’t matter to him that she was going to meet a group of peope and one was Scott. I’m sure he’s the guy that Drew was focused on.

  326. Facs, when she met with Scott, it was just she and Scott, not a whole group of people.

    Now had she been going to be meet a group of people from school etc, thats one thing. But going off to meet a man, thats another.

  327. This is from CBS2Chicago:

    A man from Stacy’s past whom she had recently reached out to, 35-year-old Scott Rossetto of Shorewood, admitted that he and the missing woman traded sexually charged text messages for the three weeks leading up to her disappearance. Rossetto denies having carried on an affair with Stacy Peterson, but did say he met her at a Bolingbrook Denny’s restaurant nine days before she vanished. An uninvited Drew Peterson interrupted the rendezvous, Rossetto said.

  328. If Drew had never met him and didn’t know about the racy texts (at this point how could he?) … would it really matter that she was going to see Scott? If she was hiding something, would she have told him? Or did she tell him because he would have followed her and found her anyway?

    truth … I did see “defiant” as “not obeying” but see that you meant “as going against his wishes” not “against his orders.”

  329. Iam still wondering if THE POLICE USED luminal in the house ??? IF THEY didn’t they should have . I bet they still could do that and it would show something in that house?? any thoughts?

  330. Facs,
    I also read early on she met with a group of students and Scott was one of them and drew came and spent 20 minutes starring at him.
    I know Stacy shouldn’t have gone, That is not allowed with people like Drew. HE is the only one that is allowed to be with the opposite sex while still married.
    This whole scenario is like de ja vu
    I have been there, done that with someone similar to Drew. Just talking to the opposite sex is a big no no. I believe because he did it so much in his life he thought everyone was like him. When he is behind bars and the saftey of the women he was involved with is secure I bet we hear from alot of them.
    I have wavered re Drew’s innocense,
    But looking at his whole adult life and how he is appearing to the public now I don’t believe a thing he says.

    Can I ask a question? When people have to get a defense attorney , do they tell them the truth and let the attorney work it out or do they tell their story as they want the public to believe?????

  331. If they are innocent they tell the truth.

    If they are guilty, they tell their story as they want the public to believe.

    IMO 😉

  332. Seriously Yorkie, I sometimes wonder if Brodsky buys it from Drew. He’s made a Freudian slip or two while trying to defend him, so who really knows. He’s just being paid to defend him, that’s all, and one day he can be rich and famous from a huge book/movie deal!

  333. letthetruthbefree // May 26, 2008 at 6:22 pm

    Facs, when she met with Scott, it was just she and Scott, not a whole group of people.

    Now had she been going to be meet a group of people from school etc, thats one thing. But going off to meet a man, thats another.
    ********************

    It was a group of people. I’ll try to find some old articles later to show that.

  334. “He said that when Stacy Peterson met him and a group of friends at a local Denny’s restaurant for dinner Oct. 19, they were soon joined unexpectedly by Drew Peterson.

    “He just showed up,” Rossetto said. “He was actually driving around in a squad car. He drove around the building a couple of times.”

    He said Stacy Peterson had argued with her husband about her plans to meet Rossetto and the others at the restaurant.”
    ********************

    It’s from a november 22 story in the Chicago Tribune. It’s not longer on their site. 😦

  335. “”Stacy’s family and friends have said it is not the first time Peterson accused his missing wife of infidelity. They said that at her sister Tina’s funeral in 2006, as Stacy walked with her late sister’s husband, Drew asked her if she was sleeping with him. And Stacy’s friend Scott Rossetto said he, Stacy and a group of friends were having dinner at a restaurant Oct. 19 when Drew, who was still a Bolingbrook police sergeant, showed up unannounced and asked Rossetto how he would feel if his wife “went off with another guy””

    This is from the Chicago Tribune, December 13

  336. Facs, thanks.

    I was under the impression that he first said it was a group, but when the text messages came out, that is when he fessed up that it was just he and Stacy.

    But there again, its like everything in the media, nothing is consistant.

    And that brings up something else then. Have the other people that were in the group spoken with the ISP? That would at least back up Scotts story.

  337. I haven’t seen quotes from anyone else, and to your point, I haven’t seen anything since December saying that it was a group.

  338. Can I ask a question? When people have to get a defense attorney , do they tell them the truth and let the attorney work it out or do they tell their story as they want the public to believe?????

    **************
    AFAIK, your defense attorney does not want to know if you are guilty.

  339. A normal and secure husband wouldn’t have a problem with their spouse meeting up with someone in public, especially if it concerned her career.

    I have gone to other photographers houses by myself to learn how to make a computer negative, old silver processes etc. Not a problem unless they want me to pose nude or something.

    He’s actually supportive of my learning new ‘methods,’ meeting people in the biz, etc.

  340. I had always thought Stacy met Scott with a group … and that’s why I didn’t understand why it was such a big deal to Drew.

    As hard as it is for us … imagine being the only suspect’s attorney and trying to imagine all the scenarios and evidence.

  341. Can I ask a question? When people have to get a defense attorney , do they tell them the truth and let the attorney work it out or do they tell their story as they want the public to believe?????

    **************
    AFAIK, your defense attorney does not want to know if you are guilty.

    ************************

    But a guy with his vast experience must know. And with what he has been given to work with……I’m sure he has an opinion..

  342. Ask Joel whether it was Scot and Stacy only or Scott, Stacy, and a group of people.

    I wonder if Drew would say that it never happened. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard his take on that incident.

  343. Don’t you love when someone else’s post pops in before yours, making yours look like you were responding to their post and not a previous one?

    😀

    Can’t wait to see what happens her.

    I would like a new thread if Gatehouse is around.

  344. Personally, I don’t think she could have found the time, or a way to get out from under Drew’s thimb even if she wanted to, so NO, I don’t.

  345. lizanne61 // May 26, 2008 at 2:28 pm

    I think the candy with Sharon time was perfect opportunity to bring car, etc to Clow.

    But, Sharon said both cars, Stacy’s and Drew’s, were in the driveway when she left to run errands at about 9:40am, and Stacy’s car was gone when she returned about 11:30am.
