  1. Scott, I don’t know about that.

Its creepy to me what they dont have to disclose.

I would be heartsick if I found out on the day of closing, after signing, that something terrible happened in the house.

  2. Sorry for the repost first one got lost in last thread.
I think the ONLY reason to remove the tub is to admit it into evidence for trial, or to show the grand jury. I believe the removal of the tub is a big red flag telling us an arrest is eminent.

  3. Thanks Gatehouse,

Is this why my husband loses at Call of Duty??? He says my long threads slow him down and the cheats kill him dead. I think I like this better that Call of Duty.

  4. I get an arrest is upcoming.

But the trial wont take place right away, it could even be a year or two, depending on many things.

What about the homeowners and their tub?

  5. Let, I think I would be alot more than heartsick and on the phone real quick (even though it wouldn’t do any good).

  6. Me too myblueshark, it will be a prop and i think it signals the begining of the end for him.

  7. Scott, I dont know what I would do.

I guess thats why they always tell you, drive by the house a few times, different times of the day, talk to neighbors etc before committing.

  8. Rescue, I think I have watched too many trials…lol.

Most say they want a speedy trial, but once it comes down to it, it seems like they are always asking for continuences (sp.)

120 days for a defense attorney to go through everything with their experts is not long…the States had months and months.

  9. Thanks rescue!

Just wanted to point out to everyone the “Front Page” tab at the top of every page. Whenever there is breaking news (like today), we try to post several updates throughout the day. Sometimes we don’t get a chance to post the link in the comments section so if you’re waiting for an update, make sure to click the “Front Page” tab. That will bring you to the main page of this blog and you all will be able to see if we’ve posted an update.

We had information on today’s court hearing posted about 10 minutes after the hearing ended, but many did not see it until someone posted the link here in the comments section.

Also, you all can try visiting http://www.mysuburbanlife.com/bolingbrook

Occasionally, that site is updated with more photos and videos.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

  10. Still trying to get caught up on all that’s happened while I’ve been gone- but wanted to say “Hi!” so you know that *no*, I didn’t fall off the face of the Earth! LOL!!!!! 🙂

Be back soon- lots and LOTS to read here… holy cow!

  11. Tub Evidence- So true. I really think they are going for the Kathleen murder first.

The association with a known felon will be brought into history, pattern. This Mucha guy, has he been brought before the Joliet GJ?? Taking cues from each other. the underbelly of society will find each other.

They dont operate in a Vacuum, there are always outsiders involved…

  12. You know, since the teens haven’t been before the GJ, that we know of, and the lawyers were able to keep them from appearing because LE supposedly said they wouldn’t be required to appear if they were interviewed by some child advocate or something, I wonder if those interviews would be submitted to the GJ?

I also wonder if DP would have been present during those interviews, and, if not, if he even knows that was said during the interviews.

These are things inquiring minds want to know.

  13. At least you’re getting the lingo correct—

    Holy Cow ! ! ! !

The Cubs and the White Sox might meet this year at the world series !?!?!

    WTFDYTID??

  14. Gatehouse – I always watch the top for your news. I KNOW you’re pretty much first with reporting it!

In California, real estate agents are required by law to disclose to prospective buyers if a murder or other event, like a suicide, took place in the home.

  16. goodnite all
    A very interesting site
You all have so much in depth knowledge, and even though the points of view vary, it is nice to see a decent level of respect for one another. How refreshing.
    See ya next time
    Ghostflyer

  17. Molly, your lucky then in California.

I guess the only way to guarentee you dont buy a creepy house is to buy new construction.

  18. Trust me, I’d much rather have been here than where I was…

Cat bite + infection + mega antibiotics + weak immune system crashing = 4 days in hospital

    I missed you too!

  19. With an arrest coming and the tub being taken, could it be that an arrest will happen within 2 weeks, the amount of time the state has to answer about Drew’s lawyers request for Drew to be allowed to go out of state while on bail?

  20. Night Ghost, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

Looking forward to seeing you again.

    Bash……….good to see you!

  22. My sister have a joke about not picking up bedbugs in even nice hotels.

We only go the the grand openings. So we never go.

  23. Wooo boy, Bash, that is just plain awful! I wish you nothing but the best, complete recovery, and good health to come! You have a lot to offer here and you were missed by all!

  24. Bash………..I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve been so sick! I’ve heard of terrible infections from bites. Glad you’re feeling up to posting – that a good sign! 🙂

  25. Cats have some weird toxic bacteria in their saliva… never knew that before! Kinda wish I didn’t have to find out about it the hard way… 🙂

  26. Mr. Peterson will be arrested within the next 3 weeks… bet it comes out that they had more than enough evidence all along and that they intentionally delayed an indictment from the GJ for legal reasons… its a chess game.. and so far they have been one step ahead the whole way…

by the way..for those that think what Mr. Brodsky says is of no importance to Mr. Peterson or the trial.. you are wrong.. he is making authorized statements.. therefore anything he says is completely admissable in court.. he is authorized to speak for his client.. so any lies he has told.. or any bad information he has gave.. can be used in trial if the prosecution wants to…

  27. Aw, beans…

Heading back to corner now, Gatehouse…

(it’ll give me time to read the gazillion posts)

Molly, your lucky then in California.

I guess the only way to guarentee you dont buy a creepy house is to buy new construction.

    ******************************

Hubby and I bought a new house many years ago – our first house. We sold it to buy our present home, also new construction. We’ve learned that our first house has had a number of owners, and one of them committed suicide by hanging himself in the garage. I cringe now, driving past the house.

  29. Strictly indoors cat- daughter brought it over when she was visiting me, and one of my son’s friends came over with their new puppy…

You can see where this is going, right?

Be funny as allgitout if it was in a movie…

  30. Miss Bash:
Just give us a b–r-r-r-a-g-g-g- type thing so we know its really you, for I was accused of being you and I think its too much work to keep up with more than my own life!!! Quite flattered but can’t stay up all the alaska nites to prove it.

    LOL

  31. Iknowwhat – yeah, but whatever Brodsky says, at least to me, is either twisted or confusing, so I don’t listen to half of what he says.

On top of that, he sees things that aren’t there (such as pictures he posts), or quotes the law to fit his needs, when, in fact, it doesn’t.

The only defense he’s shown so far is a defense of degradation and reputation bashing of anyone that has loved DP, is friends with DP, is a relative of DP, a relative of DP’s wife, or speaks against DP. Does that just about cover it????

  32. Thats kind of sad Molly because Im sure that house has many special memories to you.

There was a double murder, some years back in the town I live in. The house was so nice, but I can’t drive past it without thinking about it.

I know the house where John Wayne Gacy, killed and buried all his victims, was torn down by the new owners of it, and they rebuilt.

  33. scott i believe and have said for quite a while that Mr. Peterson will be arrested by the second week of June… call it a hunch… a hope.. a leak.. a guess.. thats where i’m putting my money…

i think when everything comes out..some people will be sitting with their mouths wide open while everything clicks and comes together…

  34. rescueapet.. i think he is trying to get in the world record book for the highest number of people conspiring to frame a single person for a crime.. at least thats what it seems like Mr. Brodsky must be trying to do….

  35. iknowwhatudont,
I agree an arrest is coming very soon. It seems that all the chips are now falling into place. The grand jury is wrapping up, and the hearsay law has passed state legislative bodies and is awaiting governor’s signature.

I’m feeling very confident that Drew will be indicted on both the murder of KS and the disappearance of Stacy.

  36. Oh my, Le Brodsque is fishing for feedback on his horrendous interview with Geraldo. How could he possibly think that he came out of that looking good?

    J. Brodsky:

“Did anyone see me on Fox News Channel mixing it up with Geraldo Rivera (Jerry Rivers). What did you think? Did his ignorance of guns come through? Did the fact that the issue is that the rifle was a duty weapon and the barrel length is irrelevant make it through the interview?”

  37. I can see all those things Molly, except the hearsay law. If the Governor signs that into law, you can be certain people will be running to the Supreme Court.

I think the ISP and DA think they have enough evidence, now it will just be show and tell, and let the jurors decide.

  38. he thinks he did good cause he pointed out the reporter didnt know alot about gun lingo… which is true.. but he also managed to point out he doesnt know alot about being an attorney..which isnt so good.. for Mr. Peterson at least…

Mr. Brodsky may have just talked his client out of his pension.. it really is double or nothing now with the gun.. right..

  39. You were? Hurm… that’s weird. Hope you weren’t *too* insulted! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    Um, ok. Proof I’m me….

Well, I’m in the corner now, does that help my case?

    How’s about this:

I have a gazillion queries for JB to answer, and I just found out that he’s not taking anymore queries after today, which TOTALLY depresses the heck out of me…

So I just asked him one (pardon in advance for the lawyerese language):

    Joel,

What is the name of the person DP knows who owns or used to own/works or used to work at/has or had access to a crematorium, and how long have they known each other?

    What else….

Um… I guess I could always complain about how hard it is to get kosher food at hospital nowadays…?

  40. letthetruthbefree // May 31, 2008 at 1:12 am

I know the house where John Wayne Gacy, killed and buried all his victims, was torn down by the new owners of it, and they rebuilt.
    *****************************

Yes, it is sad. It was our first home and our children’s first home and many good memories. But when I drive by it now, I think of the suicide.

I didn’t know that about John Gacy’s house! I DO think the new owners made a wise decision though.

  41. Did anyone see me on Fox News Channel mixing it up with Geraldo Rivera (Jerry Rivers). What did you think? Did his ignorance of guns come through? Did the fact that the issue is that the rifle was a duty weapon and the barrel length is irrelevant make it through the interview? Post your answer in the all things peterson thread. Thanks.

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Joel I watched the interview and came to a couple of conclusions.

Geraldo’s ignorance on guns did come across, but he is not a

gunsmith and I really didn’t expect much from him.

I was expecting you to come across as a good lawyer since your

client is facing a serious felony charge and I did not see that. If

you check the crime boards out today I think you will see the

message that got across to the public was drew altered the

weapon a year ago. That is all people are talking about. So

whatever your plan was for taking that to the public I think it

    failed.

  42. iknow, the gun charge made me wonder why they waited so long, but with how everything is starting to play out it makes sense.

  43. I dont know what hospitals are like in Alaska, but here they are getting nicer and nicer, or course for a hospital.

Room service and stuff like that.

  44. Molly, I think they did also. But even with a new house, I still look at it like its a cemetery of sorts.

    Just creeps me out.

But I bet the neighbor are and were thankful for the new owners.

  45. Iknowwhat – Jackpot!! You said it.

One day, I was following the posts of JB on LegalPub. He had written a piece about the Peterson, in case you’re not familiar with it, and then other bloggers wrote posts in answer to his piece.

He got them to publish the picture he fought so hard to get on Dan Abrams, the one of Mr. Morphey. In that pic, Mr. Morphey was looking straight on at the camera, from the chest up, with a Pepsi bottle on a counter next to him.

Brodsky claims that pic “proves” Mr. Morphy was doing drugs, even as late as last year. Sees things that aren’t really there.

Then, he comes back a day or so later and states that the bloggers are “demanding” LB publish the other picture of Mr. Morphey he submitted to them, which shows him with a pipe, or something to that effect. LP declined his request from the beginning, but Brodsky insisted the bloggers wanted it.

Not one blogger ever mentioned a word about the second picture, nor demanded it’s publication .

Hence, my conclusion that this is just another one of Brodsky fairy tales, and he gets his story line from none other than the prince of darkness himself!

I believe Brodsky has absolutely no control over his client, and I believe his client is running the show.

  46. bash, was it toxoplasmosis??

I got out of cleaning the cat box for the pregnancy and first year of baby Billy. It is a bad thing. I unfortunately had mrsa in 2004 so I;m real weird about hotels.

I bring the lysol and spray everything down, and bring ny own linens and pillows. Never sit on the bedspread, oh my god, it never gets washed. Then I request the air cleaner. They do have good air cleaner

You see my sister has been managing hotels for years and has told me too many stories. Yuch. If you want an upgrade from a room just call and tell them u found the ubiquitous pubic hair in the bath and your wish is their command.

I prefer to find a house to rent for a week and they usually have higher standards for bed sheets, towels and general cleanliness.

I only go to hotels that are recommended by someone I know. Like my sister who has the scoop. But now we have the web.

I always travel with the Clorox and Allergy spray down.

  47. well if brodksy argues that the gun was used while Mr. Peterson was on duty in order to get the charges against him dropped… it ties the gun possession into his employment… which means if they prove it was still illegal..if he didnt follow the proper procedure to make it legal.. then he has just committed a felony which can be tied into his employment…

so either his defense from Mr. Brodsky will get him off on the charges.. or they wont.. and if they dont.. they will also cost him his pension based on his own arguement…

so its double or nothing…right.. he either walks away clean now..or he walks away a felon with no pension…

  48. I bought a home and the previous owner commited suicide. I told my kids about it and whenever they would be acting up I would go ” hey whats that noise, sounds like someone groaning.” That would stop them in their tracks.

  49. Liz –

I managed hotels for many years myself. The major, high end chains usually have very high standards, those hotels I dont worry about at all.

Its the others that scare me, and I will NOT stay in one, nope.

  50. When is Drew’s next court date? If a new warrant goes out for him I would like everything to happen at the court house. I’d rather not have all the helicopters over BB, they made it tough to work the last time the were there.

  51. Just checking in and I guess it takes longer that I think to do another load of laundry ……..
    Gnite All

    Happy weekend !!!

  52. Someone said:
think the course might have to do with if you shift weight in flight like have a person parachute, jump or throw some heavy weight off.

The thing about ultralights is they can fly “under the radar” so to speak. They do not have transponders so they cannot be tracked, they are small and relatively quiet and can fly quite low.
Not to mention that many can land off-airport, like in a farmer’s field or on a dirt road. They don’t need a lot of room to take off or land.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Now this is freaking me out.
“throw some heavy weight off” !!
May be Drew P. did more than “put a sticker on”!

  53. “The state police removed the bathtub from the home where Kathleen Savio was found dead,” said spokesman Charles Pelkie. “It’s our belief that the tub will be a key piece of evidence in the prosecution of this case when charges are filed.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
Oh , I just love the wording of that.
When, not if. I am glad Drew P. will pay (hopefully), for his manipulating, evil ways.

  54. didn’t drew have the kids with him when he went to put the ultra light sticker on? why would a non-instructor be able to own and register a 2 seater ultra light if it’s illegal to have a rider?

oh gooddie about the tub too them long enough but atleast they have it now!!
wonder if they took the drain pipe also?

  55. the tub is in storage? shouldn’t it be at the crime lab. I’m sure it takes more than 2 weeks for the crime lab to do their work.

  56. Just dawned on me I bet it was against proboards rules to practice law for money and that is why Brodsky had to leave BMs board.

  57. I don’t understand how that rule would affect his presence on the board … JB wasn’t getting paid to answer queries as far as I know.

    Can you ‘splain?

  58. The only reason I can see LE taking the tub at this point in time is so they can use it at trial to demonstrate how Kathleen’s death could *not* be accidental.

Any DNA evidence that remained after her death has *literally* gone down the drain, so it has no other value to the prosecution, in my opinion.

  59. Bash, he was representing Drew on that board and stated so. He was answering all those questions and getting feedback as Drews lawyer and for Drews defense.

  60. Oh. I think I must have missed that post somehow…

I’m still depressed that all the queries I thought of won’t get answered…

And he never got back to me about the name/company of the locksmith who opened Kathleen’s door the day they found her. Da bum!

  61. He’s probably quite relieved that he doesn’t have to “answer” any more queries from the wacky broad in AK… LOL!!! 🙂

  62. pat that weight shift change has freaked me out for a long time. & the dp is dead center in that pic is FREAKY too

  63. Feisty, do you remember that article we found where Drew was talking about a flashlite he bought that worked great for looking at his controls on his plane at night?

  64. yes been awhile ago for sure. i posted that pic at annies back at end of january so if your looking for article search around that time frame

  65. I’m not sure but the young lady on DP’s right looks like the one he “was” dating…….dunno for sure though

  66. Kim is the one with the hat on. I think they are at chucky cheese and he has the parental bracelet on for them.

  67. bash it is great to have ya back & glad you are feeling better. nope thats his new x 22 yr old gf who already been for a ride in the ultra lite

  68. They claim they never met until the end of april, but I think that beard and mustache takes the date back further than that.

  69. im gonna go do some reading on that ultra lite page see if i can find more info on weight shifts & changes

  70. My G*d… did the man’s IQ magically drop to a jaw-dropping, fantastic low while I was gone, or WHAT?????

  71. I’m wondering if LE confiscated the cell phone DP gave KM.

Also, anyone know if the GPS on cell phones is set to “ON” by default or do you have to manually turn it on?

  72. In California, real estate agents are required by law to disclose to prospective buyers if a murder or other event, like a suicide, took place in the home.
    _____________-

I believe that is pretty much all over, however, keep in mind when the house sold KS was not labeled as a suicide, or homicide. They do not have to disclose if someone passed away in a house. They DO, however, have to disclose if a house has been reportedly haunted.

  73. Bash…very glad you’re back. Had lots of folks worried. Very glad you’re home and feeling better…looking forward to your posts. (hey, maybe Brodsky decided since you were no longer asking questions he wasn’t going to answer anymore? lol)

  79. i just had a thought maybe this is the girl who went skiing in WI. she has on a winter hat but other girl is in sleeveless so maybe not. id love to know where this pic was taken

  80. For all of those posters discussing what we Realtors refer to as a “stigmatized property” I can only respond to the law in my state. Since Alabama adheres to the caveat emptor (buyer beware) property law doctrine, it is up the the purchaser to find out everything he/she/they can about a particular property, of course with the help of their Realtor, a home inspector, etc. If we KNOW a property is stigmatized, we ALWAYS need to disclose it to prevent a potential lawsuit against us. However, if we DON’T know of any stigma, and the purchaser doesn’t ask about the possibility of one before closing on it so it can be researched, then the Realtor can’t be held liable for something he/she didn’t know and wasn’t asked. Hope this makes sense. I’m guessing most states probably handle it this way as well.

Bash, I am SO GLAD you’re back! We’ve all been very worried about you. I’ve had a gut feeling that were probably in the hospital, but I’m happy to see you back with us. Missed you!

  81. Isn’t Steve Carcerano married? Guess his wife doesn’t have a problem with him being chummy with young girls…….he was the one that introduced DP & KM. Wonder if she knew about all this before it hit the press?

  82. Referring to my above post, I once showed a home to buyer that had two separate owners at different times in different years. They both committed suicide in the house. The first owner hung herself in a bathroom. The second owner who bought it later committed suicide by bringing his motorcycle inside and shutting himself up in his bedroom with it idling. I don’t get freaked out very easily, but when I entered that house it had a very eery, evil feel, and I couldn’t wait to get my buyer outside. Even though I had told my client about the things that had gone on there, she still wanted to look at and said it didn’t bother her, but there would have been no way I would have ever bought that house and spent a single night in it. By the way, it wasn’t my listing, but I would have disclosed those two suicides to a potential buyer even if it had been.

  83. DID I miss something , when was kathleens tub taken out of house???

as for discloser of houses if a murder accured or what ever .. law here IN AZ .. they cann’t tell the buyer anything,. we have to find out our selfs .. realstate doesn’t tell… that is what the law says here,,, my step dad is a realstate broker so he told me this ….

  84. Lugnut said: as for discloser of houses if a murder accured or what ever .. law here IN AZ .. they cann’t tell the buyer anything,. we have to find out our selfs .. realstate doesn’t tell… that is what the law says here,,, my step dad is a realstate broker so he told me this ….

That’s unfortunate Lugnut. I would hate to buy a home through a Realtor that couldn’t tell me, or find out for me, what I wanted to know about a home I was about to purchase if I wanted them to. All states aren’t exactly the same regarding this, I’m sure.

She also told me that in her state they are discussing a law that realtors have to disclose a registered sex offender lives in the neighborhood. One thing I know for sure…when we go to sell and relocate someday…the RSO site will be the first site I go to before I go look at the home!

It is slow right now Lavanda, but a little better than last year. That’s why I have time to post on this blog, lol. Thank goodness I have a husband with an income, or I would be working at something else fulltime right now. About the Sex offenser thing, we have the state website that I refer my clients to, but if I already know, I tell them about it. I don’t want to do anything ever to cause my clients to be unhappy after the house is theirs.

  91. Scott –

blm’s. They posted a link, no explanation of what it was, I tried to go to it, and it said the photo has been removed.

I’m presuming it was something I probably should see. Just from the title alone.

  92. Sorry, shouldnt see. Looks like someone has a picture of Drew and I assume its not a flattering one.

  93. It was a pic of Drew with his arms around 2 younger women with a man next to him. It looked like a pic I saw that people taking about in here before.

  94. Brodsky posted: about that 22 year old “1. I never met her, but she is a looker. Anyway, Drews comments did not help. I am sure that he was just joking around with the reporter when he made those comments, but that doesn’t translate well to print media. ”

    ______________

Wait till some 55 and 60 year old man starts checking their daughters out…maybe they may understand that what they think is best kept in their head and not out of their mouths.

Regarding the bathtub, it has no substanitive evidentiary value (no dna, no blood, no marks, etc.). I am sure that the police siezed it to preserve its value as “demonstrative evidence”, so that they could bring it into court at a trial and use it to demonstrate what occured or to demonstrate why what was claimed by whoever is charged could not have occured. Or, it could be as simple as that the owners of the house were going to remodel their bathroom and the cops just took the bathtub to preserve it and prevent the defense from claiming that they allowed evidence to be destroyed. ”

Talk about denial. Wish they didn’t cut he and Geraldo off…not that I much care for Geraldo, however…the smug look on Brodsky’s face is about the same smug look I see on Drew. I tell ya, the day Drew gets charged….”it aint gonna be a lawyer drive to the jail with a swing by Starbucks”……..I hate to say this…but I can’t wait to see the looks on BOTH of their faces when those handcuffs come out!

  96. One can only hope it happens soon ( an arrest) I have noticed that the question of the Grand Jury wrapping up has not been answered, does anyone know the answer or any suggestions on where I can find that information. Thanks so much. BTW …Great Group here, smart bunch of folks who play nice most of the time.

  97. They aren’t going to be one bit surprise at an arrest, I’m sure they fully expect it.

And an arrest doesn’t mean conviction.

As I have said before, my parents very dearest friend, the husband was 25 + her senior. They were were married for 37 years, and have two handsome, well adjusted sons. The day he died, Patty lost her very best friend in the world, and was, and is still, devastated.

And NO he didn’t have money, he was a normal working man.

I don’t have a problem with the age difference if it is truly love and mutual respect.

  98. Do you think they announce when they are done with the GJ? Queeny, I can’t find that info anywhere. Never could as far as who’s testifying etc. Secret….
I did hear that even when they are done they don’t have to make their recommendation, and have an unlimited time for making the decision. Or at least the SA doesn’t have to move on it right away. Don’t quote me tho.

  99. I don’t have a problem with the age difference if it is truly love and mutual respect.

Oh I do. If the woman is over the age of 30 and chooses to marry an older man…I have no problem….but to me any girl under the age of 25 DEFINETLY should wait……..and the man should know better. My half sister married a 40 year old man at 20 and my father about croaked. They divorced about 8 years later. Early 20’s is just too young. Fact is….nobody should marry until after the age of 28 😉

  100. Liz –

Maybe it’s not right for everyone, the divorce rate in this country is out of control.

But I would hate to deny anyone something they cherish, just because we don’t think its right.

Patty was 22 when they married, their’s was one that worked. And I wish more marriage were just like their’s.

God I hate when my liberal side comes out….;)

  101. Lttbf- I think you were referring to someone elses comment on may-december marriages. My opinion is that a lot of 40 year old men are not as mature as a 24 yr old girl. That’s why it works in some cases. Your friend Patty was lucky to have that kind of love, but I think that’s not the norm. But glad she had him by her side for as long as she did.

Now my grandpa married the church secretary when he was 75 and Anita was 45. Lasted 20 years until he died last year. She’s younger than my mom but when he got sick I wouldn’t have had anyone but her take care of him. She was absolutely wonderful. She is lost now, too, just newly retired and alone.

  102. I think 30 should be the law for getting married.

I also think that we should think about having uterus banks to store reproductive organs until you pass a class on childrearing and family economics!! JMO.

  103. We’ve pretty much agreed to ignore our minor spelling mistakes. If the meaning is changed then we go ahead…like if you leave out the word ‘not’.

  104. I don’t remember who proposed that, but I think it’s a good idea. These threads bog down so quickly!

  105. Has anyone else come across any info about who it is that DiP knows who has access to a crematorium?

It’s yet another hearsay comment I stumbled across, but I’m actually researching its provenance, and could use some help if you’ve got an inclination to do so…

Safe to say, I don’t think JB will be answering this question for me…

  106. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!

Facs! NOT funny! Bad, bad, bad avatar!!!

    You are sooooooooo fired! LOL!!!!

  107. Oh, for the links I posted above, please remember to delete the space between the “w’s” when you cut and paste…

  108. So good to have you back bash—glad you’re okay. Thought we were gonna have to come looking for you. Still not a bad idea.

  109. Think its Steve, would go more toward his MO to provide eye candy for buddy. Of course not for him, as he’s a married man.

I guess Drew is technically married, but then he said it’s ok to cruise as long as the marriage is ‘technically’ over. So anything goes.

  110. blm59 // May 31, 2008 at 7:34 pm

lol It looks more like MR that Steve C to me
    **********************************

My first thought was that the other man in the picture looked a lot like Steve Carcerano. Could it be his son? Does he have a son that old?

  111. Wish we had a better pic of Mike Robinson… tried to find one, but then got distracted by a post I read…

  112. I’m not sure, but right now I don’t remember anything about Steve’s kids or even if he has any… sorry!

  113. Liz, my question is did Drew tell his other wifes, this marriage is ‘technically’ over, so I am going to sleep with other women?

  114. Steve Carcerano does have kids. I remember him telling about the day that he witnessed Kathleen and Stacy arguing and Kathleen hitting Stacy.

Steve said he was just waiting for his wife and the kids to come out and get in the car as they were going to some family function.

  115. I kind of doubt that he did, Scott. Otherwise, we’d most likely be discussing a missing husband case…

  116. Hurm… well, he could have a kid old enough to grow a beard, but I think it’s really Steve, after a touch up encounter with Grecian Formula to make him look a little younger than he really is…

  117. You know, the more I look at the various pics, the more I think that this is *NOT* Steve or Mike…

The guy in the pic is young- under 30 would be my guess.

  118. I think Drews been doing the Grecian Formula too. His hair has gone from gray to that ashy brownish color in last interview.

  119. The guy does look young, and not quite like either one of them. Another one for the GJ!

I’m sure DP has some groupies, even still.

  120. Even with the new hair color, if I saw him and his date at a bar, I would ask him if its ok to dance with his daughter.

  121. Bash, if he got tired of thinking his date is his daughter then he needs to needs to go after women his age. Of wait women his age wouldn’t touch him with a 2000 ft pole.

  122. The guy behind Drew in the picture with Drew hugging the kids is NOT Mike Robinson, Steve Carcerano and certainly not Steve’s kid.

  123. Wouldn’t you tho Scott? Just something not right about that. My hub is 49 and my sons girlfriends are 16, 21 and 25. Although he may not object to them coming over swimming……hehehe…….I would I hope he knows where the line is. Not worth it.

He even says even a one night stand is not worth it, its like, then what? I say divorce court and then I take more than my half. Maybe my husband has an extra brain in his wee-wee tho.

  124. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

    Darn it, not again!!

I *knew* I should have invested in Microsoft all those years ago…

  125. I don’t know why the guy’s smiling either. It looks like Drew is set for the night with a little tag team action and he ain’t got nothing but his hand.

  126. Someone post the pic link again. I have a thought.

Please hurry, my thoughts don’t last long these days.

  127. Actually, Scoot, I just put a clear bag around my keyboard. That way, when (not *if*) I spill stuff on it, it doesn’t give up the ghost.

Course, it took almost 2 dozen keyboards before I figured that out…

    *SIGH*

  128. Bash, if he is a bf, friend, or brother of a girl in the pic, why is he smiling? I would be no you are not getting your pic taken with him and would refuse to be in it if she insisted on having the pic taken.

  129. The girls are smilng… heck, they’re ALL smiling in the pic…

Who knows? Maybe they have gas?

  130. Speaking of Steve Carcerano……what’s up with this guy?

He states that he’s the one that found KS, and he’s Drew’s spokesman when Drew decided to avoid the media, and now he’s introducing Drew to a 22-year-old girl?

Is Steve so dense he can’t see that his friend has some issues?

  131. DP bailed Steve out financially… at this point in time, he’d probably have no qualms about publicly kissing DP’s arse live on FOX News…

  132. OK, I know I have seen the guy before somewhere and I want to say Tailgaters right off the bat so I trust that.

And I belief the picture was taken at Bar Louie at the Promanade.

Or maybe I’ve seen the mystery guy at Bar Louie.

  133. Ty for the compliment Bash, but the women Drew has been chasing could be my daughter (if I had one).

  134. Drew never bailed Steve out of nothing. Steve makes alot better money than Drew.

The bailout thing was thrown out there as a possible reasoning along time ago and it just stuck for some stupid reason.

  135. BB, I thought it was said by Brodsky that Drew is staying out of Tailgaters and going somewhere where people have class, this was back when people were calling for a boycott of Tailgaters when Drew goes there.

  136. scott I have no clue what you are saying. I said the pic looks like Bar Louie and I think I remember seeing the ??? guy at Tailgaters

I haven’t heard of him visiting TGs lately. I think the owner just asked him to chill for awhile

  137. BB, then why is SC such an idiot to stay involved with the guy. DP must have something on him. Or he’s just low IQ? Don’t think so— something weird there.

  138. Re: Steve C

I guess some people can never admit that they’re wrong. I’d love to be proven wrong, and that Stacy is alive and well somewhere.

  139. bb,

how do you know all this information such as how much Steve makes etc, that he makes more than Drew, and that isnt Mike R in the picture? Do you know these guys? and if so how so? I mean you must know something about these guys if you are able to answer questions about their earnings, and identity so clearly.

  140. BB,

    like this

Drew never bailed Steve out of nothing. Steve makes alot better money than Drew.

The bailout thing was thrown out there as a possible reasoning along time ago and it just stuck for some stupid reason.

How would you be able to say for certain Drew never helped Steve out of a jam?

  141. lookingforthruth,

I agree, but yet everyone sees them hanging in these bars including Mike Robinson, and Joel Brodsky is out with him also in these bars. Hmm Joel is married also. I guess being married means nothing to these pervert cheating arses from you know where lol

  142. ?4U-

Sounds like a neighbor or insider my friend.

Blind trust in these things, with considerations..

  143. Ok, this is kind of gross, but tell me what you think…

DP: “She’s where she wants to be…”

Stacy’s sister Tina died of cancer in 2006.

Stacy was on meds for anxiety and depression at the time of her disappearance.

Stacy had Tina’s ashes at her home.

DP has a friend with access to a crematorium.

After stacy’s disappearance, the Cales came by the Peterson house and retrieved Stacys’s motorcycle and Tina’s ashes.

    **********************

What if they really aren’t Tina’s ashes, but Stacy’s?
    *OR*
What if they are Tina *and* Stacy’s ashes?

  144. Well it is very common knowledge what Drew made and his pension. Public knowledge. And I know what Steve does and have a pretty good idea what people earn doing that.

Look at my name. I LIVE in Bolingbrook and have for over 30 years. Bolingbrook has grown ALOT and when people live here that long you know who’s who.

Try to understand that when people want to know something about something they do not understand and badly want to they will say all kinds of things to satisfy themselves and the stuff about Drew helping Steve out $$$ is a good example. This case is so full of stuff just like that.

I know these people when I see them.

  145. The guy in the picture could possibly be the one that got the DUI the night when he had to go pick up that Kim he was seeing, or stalking. Maybe that is his girlfriend the other one next to Kim? Just an opinion?

  146. ?4U- Don’t forget Joel blasted that he thinks Kim is a Looker. I’m sure anyone under 30 is a looker to them. Grrosss

  147. As to the Steve sticking by Drew issue………..

    Look at it this way.

Who is one of your very good friends? If they were accused of something like this and no evidence had been brought by LE and charged – would you run away from them?

I know I would stick by my friends.

  148. BBismytown, so you really have NO idea of the financial situation of Steve C. What if he has alot of debt?? His salary doesn’t mean squat then!

I mean no disrespect, but you make it sound like you are good buddies with these guys.

  149. Liz to my knowledge, Steve has no gambling problem. I actually did talk to him re that last time we talked. We both laughed about it.

And I will say this. If someone had never heard of Steve before any of this; and met him say at a backyard BBQ or some public event; I’d bet you would like him and say nice guy. I mean he’s no weirdo by any stretch.

    Now the Robinsons………………

  150. I wonder if DNA testing is possible when dealing with only ashes, and possibly a few burnt bone fragments and teeth… doesn’t it depend on how high a temp the burning of the body occurred at?

Be back… gotta do some more reading…

  151. Well that is my point, someone can make a million dollars and spend it all no problem. I mean especially if gambling is concerned, hanging in bars all the time. Those things get pretty costly quick I would imagine. I have heard of people losing thousands in one night, We also know how costly it is when you go to bars you can easily blow some money in there buying drinks for yourselves, friends and other women. Hmm hotel rooms maybe even? One doesnt know but gambling you can definately get in a jam quick.

  152. bbismytown, I believe the statement about Drew bailing Steve out of some debts came from Stacy’s sister Cassandra. Might she be privy to more than you?

  153. “Liz to my knowledge, Steve has no gambling problem. I actually did talk to him re that last time we talked. We both laughed about it.

And I will say this. If someone had never heard of Steve before any of this; and met him say at a backyard BBQ or some public event; I’d bet you would like him and say nice guy. I mean he’s no weirdo by any stretch.”

So, do you think he would tell an acquaintance his buisness about debts??

  154. The Robinsons? What about them? I have heard he does heating and air conditioning I heard Mike owned his own air and heating but nobody has been able to confirm that. I was reading on another blog site kind of like this one. Is this true? Is Steve friends with the Robinsons? Or just Drew?

  155. No looking that is what you want to believe.

Me and Steve are the most similar. Married, kids, homeowners. Our kids have been involved in things together.

All these people went to the same HS back in the day when you kinda knew who everybody was – they weren’t all your friends – you just knew who they were. But you kinda always knew someone who knew them, etc.

  156. Actually, it was an anonymous poster who made the original post at FSP.

    Here’s the post, verbatim:

http://www.findstacypeterson.com forum posting by “hopingtheyfind”, Newbie, Posts: 10, Thread titled, “Re: We need to dig up dirt on Steve C.”, Reply #93 on: December 13, 2007, 10:36:07 PM, Quote,

“ok, i did not feel like reading all the posts on here, but i’ve known this information for quite a while now and i just have to get it out, so if i repeat somebody, please forgive me. STEVE C. DID NOT FIND THE BODY OF KATHLEEN… he in no way was the first person in, i cannot say who it was, but trust me, he knows he is lying and nobody has stepped up to prove it and shut him up. here’s why he’s lying to help DP. steve used to have a problem, and he probably still has this problem… it’s called gambling. a couple years back steve was in a huge bind and almost lost everything he owned… guess which infamous former police sergeant helped steve get rid of his problems and guess who steve is now helping to get rid of their problems?? i hope they both enjoy living in hell…”

  157. basherette

To my knowledge you cant do DNA on ashes. I am not hundred percent but I think I remember reading something about that.

  158. That’s what I thought, but then I remembered on one of the digs that they managed to get some DNA from some burnt bones- it wasn’t a *complete* strand, but it was enough to make tenative identification and the carbon dating wasn’t affected. Trying to pull up that info now…

  159. I am not going to say what Cass says is this or that. She of course spoke with her sister and I know nothing of that.

I just know what Steve and I spoke of.

Again, what would you do if you were you and your friend? Let people on internet forums decide for you?

  160. “Me and Steve are the most similar. Married, kids, homeowners. Our kids have been involved in things together.”
    _________________________
bbismytown, are you saying you would be “most similar” in hanging in bars with the guy, setting him up with 22 yr. olds?? Doesn’t sound like Steve is such a “family man”
    JMO

  161. Sorry- the above “Huh???” was regarding this post:

    bbismytown // May 31, 2008 at 10:03 pm

I am not going to say what Cass says is this or that. She of course spoke with her sister and I know nothing of that.

I just know what Steve and I spoke of.

Again, what would you do if you were you and your friend? Let people on internet forums decide for you?

  162. The most similar comment was meaning I AM NOT similar to the Robinson brothers.

And as to the anonymous post at FSP? Well I for one ignore things that are “anonymous”.

  163. I have been hearing the Robinson brothers are trouble in the neighborhood and have been known for drug dealing in the neighborhood and law enforcement looked the other way and was protected in town because of Drew. I wonder if that is true?

  164. Found this on another site:
    “In Cassandras Own Words
Drew Paid Off Some Gambling Debts Steve C had…… I Wonder If Thats Why He Is Protecting DP.”

  165. “I think the current situation MR has placed himself in speaks volumes as to character.”

That is true bbismytown! I wonder if he is still hanging around with Drew??

  166. I wonder why M Robinson would place himself in such a situation like that? Owe favors? Involved in current situation more than just giving a cell phone? The guy that takes care of Drews dirty work, and he helps Drew out? I mean what reason would someone his age, be doing hanging with Drew, and this involved knowing he could be in trouble right along with him?
You say you would stick by your friends BB, but would you stick by one of your friends and get that involved knowing the consequences, for helping him hide evidence, giving him cell phones etc being an accessory?

  167. I was talking about Steve sticking by Drew – that is what friends do, stand by one another.

I personally would not help a friend commit a crime or knowingly cover it up. Me? NO WAY!

  168. The question I have seen raised about the photo of Drew, Kim M., another girl (possibly Kim M.’s sister) and the mystery man who may or may not be Steve C. or Mike R. (neither IMO) is that Kim M. possibly knew Drew in February or March, not April 25, as has been reported.

As far as Stacy’s ashes being in the vase that held Tina’s ashes, I thought it had been determined that was not possible. The vase was sealed … it was not just an open top so to speak. I thought Cass herself had squelched this thread topic as being impossible.

  169. Bb,
So you say now the Robinsons………what do you know about them to why you would say that? We dont really hear to much about them in the news etc. Very little if anything. I wonder why the media hasnt focused on them more?

  170. Beats me- I never read anything about it at FSP.

Depending on how it was sealed, it could be opened and re-sealed.

Or maybe it just gave someone an idea how to make sure a body would never be found… ashes are alot easier to dump than a body.

  171. Noway406, I believe you are correct about them knowing each other before April 25th because of the beard!!

  172. I’m going to put my money on the other girl NOT being Kim’s sister. The teeth and nose are very different.

  173. Yes, the beard is an issue. I saw pictures on another site … February he had the beard. April 11 (on LKL) he did not.

I remember hearing about an animal crematory … not sure about any friend DP had who owned crematory but vaguely remember something about a funeral home / crematory.

With the closing of FSP forum, so went my memory. 😦

  174. “I’m going to put my money on the other girl NOT being Kim’s sister. The teeth and nose are very different.”

Maybe one of them had some “work done” or “repairs”??

  175. No, I’m trying to establish whether or not he had the *opportunity and means* to have Stacy cremated.

  176. Anyone have the date of this picture? Could it be from the time he went to the Dells? The wrist band could be a giveaway.

  177. (quote)

    Bb,
So you say now the Robinsons………what do you know about them to why you would say that? We dont really hear to much about them in the news etc. Very little if anything. I wonder why the media hasnt focused on them more?

    (quote)

You didn’t hear of Mike slapping the girl around in the elevator and dragging her into another girls apartment, then threatening them to say nothing, being arrested, and showing up at Drew’s immediately after being bonded out?

That pic of him behind Drew in the street was when he came to Drew right after bonding out.

  178. Bash, did you look at Where is Stacy site? There is a thread called “Crematories” or something close to that …

  179. “You didn’t hear of Mike slapping the girl around in the elevator and dragging her into another girls apartment, then threatening them to say nothing, being arrested, and showing up at Drew’s immediately after being bonded out?

That pic of him behind Drew in the street was when he came to Drew right after bonding out.”

    Did Drew bond him out??

  180. Did DP go skiing? Somehow I got the impression they were in a bar after skiing.

Don’t ask me why I think that …

  181. Bb,

yes I have heard about that, but they dont follow him around like they did Steve and his friend Ric. I mean they interviewed the heck out of them on the news but never that Mike Robinson. Nobody knows much about him, everything is being kept quiet except for that.

  182. Here is something about DNA and ashes.

This is from Dr. Michael Baden:
    http://www.hbo.com/autopsy/baden/qa_6.html

Is it possible to obtain viable DNA from cremated remains?

Cremation destroys DNA, so one cannot get usable DNA from cremation remains. However, teeth stay pretty intact even in cremation ashes. There have been a number of times I’ve had to examine cremation ashes — which are called cremains — because there’s some kind of dispute as to whether an individual is actually dead, or whether there’s been a mix-up or commingling of ashes at a crematorium. During these examinations we can’t find DNA, but we can find teeth, fillings and posts. Also, artificial teeth are more difficult to destroy than natural teeth. One tooth, one post or one artificial tooth can be sufficient to identify the remains, even though DNA cannot be found.

  183. Yeah the Robinsons have stayed under the media radar.

Been nice chatting folks but I gotta get off here.

Y’all take care. Tell the folks ya love – “I LOVE YOU!” and of course say your prayers and thank the big man

    Good night

  184. So where is the link that Drew knows someone that owns a crematory?

Many funeral homes now are crematories, so I would imagine Drew knew of them from doing a funeral detail or something.

I dont recall ever hearing Drew was friends with a Funeral Director.

  185. Where did this picture come from? Does anyone know?

Could the guy in the back be Kim M.’s boyfriend? He really is the fifth wheel in that photo, isn’t he.

  186. I have never understand Steve C’s allegiance to Drew Peterson. After Ric Mims separated himself from Drew, I would have thought Steve C would take a hint.

It just does not jive with me. There must be more to the story. And then when it was said/reported that Steve C introduced Drew to the 22 y/o tanning salon employee, I am even more convinced that something is shady in Steve and Drew’s friendship.

  187. Hey Bash, I was actually going to change to the cat avatar when you said that it was looking too midwesty with all the dogs.

Then Liz said you’d been bit by a cat and this was that last picture I’d taken of my monster so…

  188. And the question remains … who took the photo? Steve C.? She said it was Steve C. who introduced them … could this be where they were introduced?

  189. noway406 // May 31, 2008 at 11:08 pm

Could the guy in the back be Kim M.’s boyfriend?
    ******************************

If you compare that guy with the guy she went to GJ with, they look very different. But I don’t know if either one is her boyfriend.

  190. It’s hearsay, Letthetruthbefree- which is why I didn’t post a link. I am, however, trying to figure out the provenance and see if it has any merit.

I gotta admit, using a crematorium would be one heck of a way to make DAMM sure that a body wasn’t ever found. Toss the ashes in a lake or by the side of a road, heck, even flush ’em down the toilet, and voila! no more worries about a lucky fisherman or hiker finding someone you don’t want found…

    Anyhoo, that’s what I’m working on now…

  191. Look at the angle from which that photo was taken. The person who took it was about as tall as the girls. Maybe another girlfriend was the photographer. Drew and the other man appear to be a lot taller than whoever took the photo.

  192. Hey there, Facs! Nope, wasn’t me who said it looked too midwest here… don’t know where that came from.

And I was just razzing you- I was like “Oh, MAN! Of all the “innocent” cheery avatars in the whole world, what are the friggin’ odds that I look up and find myself staring at one of a cat biting someone after all that just happened!”

Hey- it *was* one heck of a coincidence, no?

  193. Regarding the DNA question on cremated remains, I just did a search and see various answers.

One firm says you cannot retrieve DNA from cremated remains, yet, another says it depends on the cremation environment (heat, temp, oxygen, etc).

I am more inclined to believe that DNA would be destroyed. With typical cremations, the temperature is so high that I would think any and all cell structure would be destroyed. But, I cannot say definitively.

  194. Ok, here’s what I got:

If a human body is cremated in the proper manner, then you will NOT be able to get DNA from the *ashes*- but you CAN get it from the teeth.

Now, if a human body is cremated improperly (not a high enough temp, not burned long enough, not put through second step which pulverizes the bones, teeth and ashes into a finer powder), then you CAN get DNA from the teeth and bones, but not the ashes.

  195. The other girl in the picture is a friend of Kim’s. Her name has been posted on another site … but I’m not going to put it here.

Apparently this photo was taken in March.

  196. Got to get to bed. See ya later . . . .

reminds me I’d better feed the cats, they get a little snippy . . . .

  197. Okay…

Cremating an average human body takes an average of 2 to 2 1/2 hours, and requires a minimum temp of 1400 degrees F, and a maximum of 18oo degrees F.

Cremating an animal (average size pet) takes an average of 3 hours, and requires a mnimum temp of 1600 degrees F to 1800 degrees F.

The “pet” crematorium itself is quite a large piece of equipment- more than adequate for either human or animal remains.

    What does this mean?

It means that you CAN cremate a human body using an animal crematorium.

And vice-a-versa. Apparently, crematoriums can and do cremae both animal *and* human remains using the same equipment.

Which means that LE would have one dickens of a time trying to process any of the crematories in IL, unless they were strictly ONLY used for human remains *or* animal remains, but *never* both.

Why do I have the feeling I’m gonna have nightmares tonight?

  198. I know from having to put a pet down that there were options.

One was, they would take the pet, and cremate it with many others, you dont get ashes back.

So I imagine they wait until they get quiet a few, and then do them all together…that would be a dna nightmare, if it were to work.

  199. Just a quick FYI for everyone.

We recently found a way to delay publishing posts…which means we can now create new threads and then set a specific time to publish them.

What does this relatively useless piece of information mean?

Well, it now means that someone doesn’t have to stay up until midnight to create the next day’s thread. From now on, we’ll create the next day’s thread earlier and have it automatically published at 12:01 a.m. This also means that we may not be around to post the new link in the comments section.

So, whenever any of you are up and commenting past midnight, hit the “Front Page” tab at the top and the new thread should be the first thread on the page.
