  1. GJ Day.

Saying a little prayer for the GJ members, and the prosecutors and the witnesses .. may they be led to truth and justice, whatever they are in this case.

  2. I wonder….will there even be any more testimony..or if the GJ is going to deliberate
starting today….I also wonder…does anyone know if they announce when they go to deliberations, I researched ( although probably lamely ) the code for Illinois GJ and couldn’t
really decipher an answer….So if anyone should happen to know I would so appreciate a response. Thanks

  3. oh yeah Charlize Theron is a Leo too! I just love her! My birthday is tomorrow!!! yeah me! I know I share a birthday with Rikki Rocket from Poison…lol…Donny Most “Ralph Malph” from Happy Days…Dustin Hoffman….and the guy that played John on CHIPS, Larry Wilcox? I think?

well lets hope the quiet day at the Grand Jury means something is going to happen soon? Maybe tomorrow? hey that would be a bday surprise, I’ll crack open a box of wine if that happens!

anyone else think it’s TOO quiet??? hmmm okay I’ll check back in later

    have a great day everyone!

  4. Noway – watch the videos on the link I provided. They actually interview Zenaida Gonzolez. She says she went to the Sawgrass Apts and looked at an apartment (but not the one Casey pointed out) on June 17th. She is a real person. They have a 5-part interview with her. She says she does not know Casey nor her family and doesn’t know why Casey picked her name to drag through the mud.

  5. Hello everyone. I just posted this on the “Justice Soon For Kathleen and Stacy” site and thought I’d post it here as well:

    jury peer said…
With the SLIME TEAM attempting to make an issue of the “emotional trauma” visited upon the Peterson children following the announcement that Len and Paula had been wired, I had posted the other evening about a statement I remembered Drew Peterson had made shortly after he killed Stacy about his children’s emotional well-being at the time (3rd week in November 2007, as it turns out; 3-weeks after the children last saw Stacy on October 28th.)

Here is from an article written by Russell Goldman, ABC News on November 21, 2007 as a result of an interview with Drew Peterson: “When asked about his concerns for his two young children, ages 2 and 4, Peterson said, “sure their mom’s missing
and they’re upset but there are more important things to worry about.”

Here is a link to the article:

So Drew was nonchalant about what his children might be feeling about their mother’s disappearance, but somehow, in Drew and Joel’s perspective the fact that Len and Paula are no longer on the scene amounts to “psycholigal torture?”

    PLEASE, you two are ridiculous!

I have 3 children. I know that if I had disappeared from my children’s lives without a trace, whether they were 2 years old, 7 years old, 14 years old – at ANY age, they would be devastated. Your indifference to your children’s state of mind at the time their mother was first missing is so very telling!

And you do not fool the general public. I’m sure your recent “outrage” on behalf of your children in response to having been wire-tapped by Len and Paula is simply to set the stage for your own financial gain in the hopes of suing the state of Illinois for some kind of tort damages.

Well WE WON’T HAVE IT! We, being the taxpayers in the state of Illinois.

I am sure your children are psycholigally damaged, but NOT by the State of Illinois nor by Len and Paula.

The emotional pain they have been and will continue to suffer is because of your own acts, Drew. You killed their 2 mothers.

YOU, DREW, created this situation. No one but you! YOU are responsible for the state of your life, for the state of your children’s lives, and for the deaths of Stacy and Kathleen.

And soon you will be found GUILTY in a court of law by a jury of your peers.

My question – WHO does he think he’s kidding?

  6. Good point, Jury Peer. When Drew was on LKL he said

“KING: How do your children deal with it?

PETERSON: The older two are pretty much bored with it all.

    KING: Bored?

PETERSON: The 14- and 15-year-old. They see it on TV and they’re just bored with it. They just want to watch something else.

    KING: The younger don’t understand?

PETERSON: The younger two, Anthony and Lacy, their — they were their mom is on vacation. And I talked to a psychologist and he said that was age appropriate for them.”

and on Dan Abrams he said:

“All right. Let me ask you about your kids, Mr. Peterson. You said before that everything in your life is now about your kids. How are your kids dealing with, A, the fact that their mom is gone and, B, the fact that you remain a suspect?

PETERSON: Well, the fact that I‘m a suspect isn‘t really an issue for the children right now. I mean it‘s not really something that they‘re thinking about every day. But the children get my full attention every day of every week. So they‘re doing fine.

My 15-year-old is number one in his class in high school, straight A honors, along with my 13-year-old, he‘s straight A honors also. And the little ones are very happy, healthy children. They‘ve been looked at and talked to by psychologists and noted people in the field of child care. And the kids are doing great.

ABRAMS: How could the 14 and 15-year-old not be interested in the fact that their father is a suspect in his wife‘s disappearance and there are now questions about his third wife‘s disappearance? I‘ve got to believe a 14 and 15-year-old are going to kind of get it.

PETERSON: They‘re 13 and 15. But the thing is, they‘re kind of bored with all this. And they –

ABRAMS: Really? I mean they‘re bored? I mean Dad‘s a suspect in Mom‘s disappearance and that‘s a boring story to them?

PETERSON: They‘re bored with it. The story comes on TV these days and they want to watch “Family Guy” or something kid-appropriate.

ABRAMS: Is that because dad is changing the channel?

PETERSON: No. I let them watch it and make all of them fully abreast of what‘s taking place. And they‘re pretty much bored with it.

ABRAMS: Again, so the older ones know everything about what your fiance had said about you, and what your second wife said, and what happened to the third wife and the fourth wife, et cetera. They know all of that?

    PETERSON: Yes. ”

So he is saying they are bored and just accepting of him being a suspect and thier mother missing but they are tortured now because Lenny and Paula aren’t in their life anymore? Hmm.

  7. Thinkaboutit- Thanks for pointing out how assinine the two nitwits are in their characterization of how psychologically damaged the children are now because of Lenny & Paula’s absence from their lives.

It’s rather shocking to re-read how nonchalant Peterson was about the mental well being of his children after their moms’ terrible fates, and how their dad is the suspect, yet, Brodsky has the bazookas to try and get the public to feel sympathy for Peterson, not necessarily the children, by laying blame on Lenny & Paula. It’s never about the children when it comes to Peterson. It’s about him using his children to garner public support for himself only.

  9. It’s like I’ve said before. Is it psychological torture each June when the school year is done and the kids wave goodbye to the teacher they just spent 9 months with? C’mon…

  10. Psychological torture is:

1.) Telling your children that your mommy is on vacation for over 9 months.

2.) Your daddy blabs his mouth about dating games and other women.

3.) Leaves you all the time and does not stay to comfort you.

This list can go on and on about all the ways these children have and are being tortured emotionally, it is all just so sad.

  11. This might start an interesting conversation? I hope that everyone is doing well….I haven’t been here in a long time.

    h ttp://,2_1_AU08_COUNTY_S1.article

Obviously, take the space out between the h ttp.

Where is the outrage towards this “coroner” that let Drew get away with Kathleen’s death for so long? Is there anything going on in IL to change this guy from being “appointed” again? I say that it would be a very good idea to get this guy out of office. If we can flood the right people about the Hearsay Law, who can we flood with this? I think that it’s outrageous that he and the Mayor are still in office and that there is virtually NO talk about either of them!! 👿

    What does everyone think?

I know there is a real woman with this name.

I’m just saying that there is no such woman who babysat Caylee … only that Casey used this name.

    Does that make sense?

  13. And if Eyewitness News is right … then I’m not the only one who thought that.

Sources Say Casey’s Phone Records Show No Calls To “Zenaida Gonzalez”

Eyewitness News learned Thursday that Caylee Anthony’s so-called babysitter Zenaida Gonzales was nothing but another lie in the case of her missing daughter, Caylee. Sources close to the Anthony investigation have told Eyewitness News that, in going through all of Casey Anthony’s phone call records, not one call was ever placed to someone named Zenaida Gonzalez.

I’d also read that Casey’s mom said that Caylee had a babysitter “Zani” for the last year or so, but that she (Cindy) had never met her . . .

And for the record, I’ve seen her name spelled Gonzales and Gonzalez … not sure which is “right” as far as how Casey would spell it. 🙄

  14. Noway – Got it! I was thinking you were talking about that particular Zenaida that they interviewed.

It just still seems so unlikely that there would actually have been a Zenaida Gonzalez that happened to be at the Sawgrass apartments the day after people had seen Caylee alive.

It just seems too coincidental that she could have used that name for more than a year and there happened to really be someone with that name there on that particular day.

  15. It is really weird though, isn’t it that an actual ZG looked at an apartment there 2 days after Caylee went missing…but there was none actually living there?

I guess if there are actually 400 ZGs living in the area it’s possible that it was just a very strange coincidence.

  16. I wonder whether we’ll ever know all the answers to the twists is this case.

I saw a post on Kimmer’s board that referenced picture comparisons of Casey and Zenaida on InSession but I haven’t been able to find the actual post on InSession that compared the pictures.

If I find it, I’ll post it here.

County board not rushing to decision

    August 8, 2008Recommend

JOLIET — The county board hasn’t made up its mind about a medical examiner.

Although they have discussed the issue at length during at three different public meetings — one of them featuring famed New York forensic pathologist Michael Baden as a speaker — the board usually moves very, very slowly.

The members of the county’s executive committee were supposed to decide during their Thursday meeting if there should be a November referendum asking voters if they want to dump the coroner system in favor of a medical examiner. But that didn’t happen. After a brief discussion on the issue Thursday, County Board Chairman Jim Moustis, R-Frankfort, said there should be one more meeting.

“Let’s decide it as a board and put it to rest,” Moustis said.

So he scheduled a 9 a.m. Aug. 18 public meeting of the full county board. It will be held at the county office building, 302 N. Chicago St., Joliet. Will County residents who are interested in the issue are invited, too.

The Republican members of the county board first talked during a March 20 caucus held at a Joliet restaurant about the possibility of having death probes done by a medical examiner instead of the elected coroner. Medical examiners are physicians and might be better trained and equipped to handle complicated cases, they said.

Will County Coroner Patrick K. O’Neil, a popular Democrat, is running for re-election in November against Republican Chuck Lyons, a former deputy coroner.

If the county switches to a medical examiner, that person would be chosen rather than elected.

During the Thursday meeting, board member Wayne McMillan, R-Bolingbrook, began the discussion. “I’ve lived in Bolingbrook for 38 years,” he said. “Obviously the Kathleen Savio situation up there has disturbed and frustrated a lot of my constituents … and they are angry.”

On March 1, 2004, Savio, 40, was found dead in a dry bathtub at her Bolingbrook home. She was the third wife of Drew Peterson, now 54, a former Bolingbrook police officer.

Water was found in Savio’s sinuses, there was a cut on the back of her head and her hair was drenched in blood. At the inquest, a Will County coroner’s jury decided she died accidentally.

But that changed three years later. In October, Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, then 23, vanished. That prompted authorities to take another look at the mysterious bathtub death.

Savio’s body was exhumed, there were new autopsies, and experts eventually decided that the coroner’s jury was wrong. Savio actually was the victim of a homicide.

“Unfortunately, the perception in my area is the coroner is being seen as an unnecessary link — and sometimes a barrier — between the (forensic) pathologist and the police,” McMillan said. “(Savio’s death) is just a situation we never should have been involved in.”

Moustis asked Will County Assistant State’s Attorney Mary Tatroe, head of the civil division, to research the recent changes in Illinois law controlling the coroner system. She will present the information at the Aug. 18 meeting.

The full board will vote on the referendum issue during the Aug. 21 regular meeting.

  20. It’s so quiet I can hear a pin drop……………………………………………………………………………………………………

  21. Quiet? Maybe we’re watching the news coverage about John Edwards now un-denying his “oops” with a woman not his wife in 2006. Trouble is, he was in a hotel room with her just weeks ago.

Oh, and as much as one can only feel compassion for his wife, she called his admission “courageous.” Ah, no, courageous are the men and women who are in Iraq and Afghanistan dodging terrorists. Courageous is not John Edwards getting caught and forced into admission!

….. and, little Caylee, who’s 3rd Birthday is today.

  22. Why does it make me feel queasy the way Mr. McMillan calls Kathleen’s death “is just a situation we should never been involved in” . Gawd, even when they’re saying something almost sensible they use politi-speak. How about “it should never have happened, and we must take steps that it doesn’t happen again”?

“Unfortunately, the perception in my area is the coroner is being seen as an unnecessary link (BARRIER)….” It sounds like he’s apologizing for having angry constituents

If the elected coroner’s post becomes an appointed medical examiner instead, that’s a chunk of somebody’s political “assets” gone. No wonder.

yes I agree with you , I saw taht and wanted to post what they are doing of it.. I just think it would be better that a medical examiner is the one to do this not a corenor ya know… they don’t do good as LIKe DR.BADEN they should go the way of medical examiner

  24. Hiya lug,

Thanks for posting that. I’d never have seen it otherwise.

You know, it does seem to be very quiet. I think even without an impending arrest the flaying they suffered on Mike and Judy after Ashleygate (or Lennygate) may just about have persuaded them they’ve got nowhere to go from down there and perhaps Drew is getting his ducks in a row Lenny and Paula seem to have gotten “all the duck’s information”

I just think it is quiet before the storm , and things will start to happen soon. drew cann’t be quiet at all. there is always something he wants to say .

as for len and paula I think they did really good with what they got and this will fry him . me thinks at end of month drew will be with bubba

  26. I apalogise if this was posted before, but I don’t see it anywhere. Maybe I am loosing it!
Yes things with stacy are slow I’m sorry to hear about the boats, at mybs we are trying to stay updated on Caylee, Nancy cooper, and Mya Lyons during this time too.
I have a personal story about a friend that I am updating if anyone is interested, I’ll just post the first paragraph, if you want to read it stop by.

Women are expendable, or at least that seems to be the mind set of many of the male species these days. I just got off the phone with the mother of a 15 year old girl who, 2 days ago, was given GHB, then raped by 1-4 boys within the age range of 16-18. This girl is/was the sweetest little girl you could imagine. She is funny and happy and a joy to be around…well she was. Now she is an altered shell of that girl who goes “white faced” when she has flash backs of what happened to her during her 6 hour blackout and can ONLY speak of what she remembers if she hides her face. Here is what I know so-far……,505.0.html
