    Good morning!

CHICAGO, IL September 22, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ — In a book to be released Oct 1, Drew Peterson reveals his timeline of events for October 28, 2007—the day his fourth wife Stacy Peterson disappeared. He disclosed his actions and whereabouts in full, exclusively to investigative writer Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed (Kunati, Oct 1, 2008). The accounting is just one of five major revelations in the new book, embargoed until October 1, 2008.

“Mr. Peterson gave me many hours of exclusive interviews,” author Armstrong reported, “including a timeline of the day Stacy Peterson disappeared—something he’s refused to give in full to any other journalist.”
In an excerpt from Armstrong’s foreword to the book, he wrote:

In this first meeting I told Drew Peterson, “Understand that I’m going to report everything. The good and the bad. I won’t hype or bash you, but I’m not going to hide the ugly. Can you live with that?”
Drew Peterson, always composed, nodded his head. “I have nothing to hide. I just want people to hear my side for a change.”

A few times during the interviews, I would sit up, alarmed and surprised by a revelation…
… I explore all of these elements as they currently stand, and reveal new evidence and information: life and history (the many infidelities and pranks that shaped the personality of our suspect), his motivations (the barely believable events that led up to October 28, 2007 when Stacy Peterson disappeared), the circumstances (a conflicted mess of timelines that I reverse-engineer) and finally, most telling of all, the…. (the remaining excerpt is EMBARGOED INFORMATION).

Drew Peterson Exposed, even as an embargoed title, is a McNaughton Selection for libraries, and is already in its third print run to meet demand for advance orders.

Drew Peterson Exposed goes to wide release October 1 and is distributed by Independent Publishers Group (Chicago)

    • Hardcover: 320 pages
    • 140 photographs and documents reproduced
    • Publisher: Kunati Inc. (October 1, 2008) Embargoed Title
    • Exclusively distributed by Independent Publishers Group and available October 1, 2008 in major retailers everywhere.

  2. “his motivations (the barely believable events that led up to October 28, 2007 when Stacy Peterson disappeared)”

Barely believeable = lies, what do you want to bet? LE will be able to compare it to the version DP gave them.

I really like to think the G-men have all of this already. Seagulls wearing wires? LOL

  3. His infidelities and pranks shaped his personality? WTF?

Thanks for forensic astrology link, Rescue. I find it interesting (tho mostly impenetrable) because I believe everything is connected anyway.

And I thank you all for EXplicit indications. 😉

  4. Wonder if his timeline matches what he told to the ISP? Also, wonder how many conflicts between this book and those who went in front of the GJ and have testified. To my knowledge Peterson only pleaded the 5th and the rest spoke.

  5. Also wonder if he wil explain the fight that Stacy and he had that Sunday night that one of the boys told Cassandra about. How it was loud and all of a sudden got very quiet.

Where was he was Cassandra called late that Sinday night? Peterson said he was home but Cassandra had just left the house and he wasn’t. Where was Peterson at? Where did Peterson go for the 3 days(Fri thru Sun) the week that Stacy went missing????

Media Alert: Publicist Confirms Release of Drew Peterson Timeline from Day Stacy Peterson Disappeared
    ThePublicityAgency.com – September 22, 2008

(PRNewsChannel) / Tampa, Fla. and Chicago, Ill. / Publicist for Drew Peterson, Glenn Selig, released the following statement responding to a report from Canadian publisher Kunati, Inc. that Drew Peterson reveals a timeline for the day his wife Stacy Peterson disappeared, being promoted for the upcoming book Drew Peterson Exposed.

STATEMENT FROM GLENN SELIG (pronounced Sell-ig)-DREW PETERSON’S PUBLICIST on Drew Peterson Exposed:

“Against the advice of his criminal defense attorneys, Drew Peterson disclosed to a journalist his timeline for the day his wife Stacy disappeared. Though our client has talked extensively to the Illinois State Police authorities about this subject, Mr. Peterson had not, up until now, revealed publicly where he was and what he was doing on that day.”

“His unwillingness to disclose this information on the advice of his attorneys, Joel A. Brodsky and Andrew Abood, has been the source of criticism by the news media and commentators. Mr. Peterson says he grew tired of the speculation and during the course of hours of interviews felt comfortable enough to talk openly to author Derek Armstrong and discuss where he was and what he was doing on that day.”

“It would be inappropriate for me to comment on what he said because Mr. Peterson has not yet seen the book. We hope that the book offers a fair and accurate portrayal of Mr. Peterson’s comments. As everyone knows, Mr. Peterson steadfastly denies any involvement in the disappearance of Stacy and he looks forward to offering his reactions to the book at the appropriate time.”

Media Note: Drew Peterson, Joel Brodsky, Andrew Abood and Glenn Selig will not be available for any interviews on this subject for now. This statement is all that’s being said about the book at this time.

To receive updates on the Drew Peterson case, send an email to glenn@thepublicityagency.com with “Drew Peterson Case” in the subject line. Or visit http://www.thepublicityagency.com/drew_peterson.htm.

Additional information about Drew Peterson Exposed from the publisher’s Web site: http://www.kunati.com/news/

October 28, 2008 marks the one year anniversary of Stacy Peterson’s disappearance. Since then, her husband Drew Peterson has been at the center of a media storm which shows no sign of abating—his most recent appearance on national television was one of the highest-rated television segments this year.

He is a person of interest in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson in October 2007, and his involvement in the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, is now under renewed police scrutiny.

As a introduction to the new evidence, the author draws on hundreds of hours of exclusive interviews with Drew Peterson in this journalistic inquiry based on a complete private investigation. The facts and testimony assembled here shed new light on the details of the police investigations, the possible timelines, and the motives ascribed to Peterson. Conflicting witness accounts, false leads, widespread rumors, and red herrings that have dogged the case are analyzed and 140 photographs and documents (including many private family photos published here for the first time) go beyond the headlines to the heart of this sensational story. The frank and unvarnished portrait of Drew Peterson that emerges is bound to provoke further controversy.

  8. Fiction is the telling of stories which are not real. More specifically, fiction is an imaginative form of narrative, one of the four basic rhetorical modes. Although the word fiction is derived from the Latin fingo, fingere, finxi, fictum, “to form, create”, works of fiction need not be entirely imaginary and may include real people, places, and events. Fiction may not be written or oral. Although not all fiction is necessarily artistic, fiction is largely perceived as a form of art or entertainment. The ability to create fiction and other artistic works is considered to be a fundamental aspect of human culture, one of the defining characteristics of humanity. It is fiction isnt it.

  9. Hmm.DP is supposed not to have read the book(er…”seen” it), We have to ask ourselves would JB and GS waved it through without benefit of a session with a red pen?It would be wonderful if it contains a confession so the healing can begin, but I’m not holding my breath.

  10. “In this first meeting I told Drew Peterson, “Understand that I’m going to report everything. The good and the bad. I won’t hype or bash you, but I’m not going to hide the ugly. Can you live with that?”
Drew Peterson, always composed, nodded his head. “I have nothing to hide. I just want people to hear my side for a change.”’

OK, If the sole source for your investigation is a first person account from the suspect, exactly how much “ugly” is the guy going to serve up?

Now, if he had opted to actually interview a few ex-coworkers, ex-friends or ex-wives of Peterson, he actually might have gotten some “ugly”.

  11. “A few times during the interviews, I would sit up, alarmed and surprised by a revelation…”

Because the rest of the time he was snoozing, since Peterson was saying the same old crap he’s been saying for the last eleven months?

  12. (My experience as a private investigator) served me well later as I took my cameras on the road as a freelance journalist, and later as an author of mysteries. And it certainly served me well as I arrived in Chicago as I investigated Drew Peterson.

The intrigue was immediate. Removing batteries from cell phones to avoid a record of my meetings (cell phone pinging, or even over-hears), parking a few blocks away to avoid having my license plate photographed. I even drove a circuitous route through oil tank storage facilities outside of Bolingbrook to “shake off” a car. A shot of adrenalin and paranoia had convinced me I was being followed. After three turns, he finally went the other way.

Can someone explain to me why an investigative journalist would find it necessary to “avoid a record’ of his meetings with a subject?

What he describes are the actions of a criminal, not a reporter. Jesus, it’s not illegal to interview someone for a book. What’s he think he’s got to hide?

  13. Facs said:

What he describes are the actions of a criminal, not a reporter. Jesus, it’s not illegal to interview someone for a book. What’s he think he’s got to hide?

    ***************

That is an amazing observation, Facs!!!!!! It does bring into question, exactly as you said, as to why he’d have to remove his cell battery, and/or avoid having his plate photographed.

If he was sharing information with the authorities, as he states, what’s up with all the mysterious dodging? Armstrong may have avoided being noticed, but it appears Peterson was, for the most part, in LE’s sights.

Geesh, what a bunch of propaganda baloney.

  14. “…life and history (the many infidelities and pranks that shaped the personality of our suspect)”

Is he trying to say that the suspect shaped his own life by cheating on his wives and playing pranks? I don’t know if that’s just bad writing or simply a ludicrous statement….or both.

I guess violence and intimidation never come us during the course of this expose – just gay romps and swashbuckling adventures.?

    Oh barf.

  15. If he was sharing information with the authorities, as he states, what’s up with all the mysterious dodging? Armstrong may have avoided being noticed, but it appears Peterson was, for the most part, in LE’s sights.
    *********************

Right, Peterson is the suspect here and he doesn’t seem to have been able to avoid surveillance. But, why would this be a concern for his interviewer?

I would imagine that the interviews were recorded by Armstrong. Does he think those recordings won’t be subpoenaed if this goes to trial? Oooops. So much for your super sekrit sleuthin’.

  16. Not that I think the recordings would prove to be very valuable. After all, the interview he gave Armstrong is no different from what he says on Larry King, or the Today show. It’s just whatever Drew and Brodsky want people to hear.

They’ve just paid an author to deliver it.

  17. “We know the tapes exist,” said Peterson’s attorney, Joel Brodsky. “What we don’t know is the length and breadth of the tapes, whether they bugged him inside his house, they bugged him inside his car, whether anybody was wearing a wire. That we don’t know, and we didn’t find out.”

Would the author of this upcoming book know? He’s a former PI, and he said he shook off cell phone pings and license plate pics, so he must have been on to something, heh?

Besides, this was all “exposed” by Matt Phelps previously, and I assume if it was recorded, as Phelps said, LE has access to what Peterson and Brodsky are up to.

    Sensationalism.

  18. Drew Peterson, always composed, nodded his head. “I have nothing to hide. I just want people to hear my side for a change.”’

Are you kidding: hear my side for a change

What the hell do you call what you have been doing since October 28, 2007? Sports announcing?

  19. I am passing this along. In addition to Joel Brodsky and Drew Peterson, Dana Pretzer will be featuring this case as well (add the h ttp://www. to all the links as I removed them so the post wouldn’t go off to spamlandia)

Today is the day for little Becca McEvoy. If you haven’t heard of the case of the little girl who was sexually molested for 2 years by her police officer step father, and then died in a car accident just before she was to testify…..please go to the links provided to learn more. PLEASE shoot off a quick email to the addresses below showing support for Becca and that her testimony be allowed in court. This is another CrawfordvsWashington deal.

    Protest for Becca….Monday…September 22

Becca McEvoy was a vibrant young 9 year old when her life was lost in a car accident. She was a fighter and valiantly fought for her life for 10 days on life support. She did not win that battle.

Becca needs us to fight for her now. You see, Becca was to testify in front of a Grand Jury in Mobile, Alabama. She was bravely speaking of things which she had been threatened not to tell, but her story was cut short, as was her life.

Becca McEvoy endured a year of rape and sodomy at the hands of her step father, Bob Ingle, a police officer. According to reports, Bob Ingle not only had his way with Becca, but other family members as well as his own daughter. All of them were threatened, some recanted their own stories.

The legal process is tedious and justice is long in coming in most cases brought through the court system. However, there have been numerous delays in Becca’s case and Bob Ingle is still living free and easy in a home with other children present, according to family members.

Becca is a victim. Victims should have equal rights under the law. Victims should have a voice in a court of law. Becca’s voice is being silenced. The law in place that may jeopardize much of Becca’s testimony is Crawford vs Washington, which simply stated, may keep a lot of testimonial evidence from ever being heard.

Her case was scheduled to go to trial September 22, 2008, but now there has been yet another delay while defense attorneys challenge information to be brought into the trial. Another day is gone for Becca, another day that maybe her voice would have been heard and the scales of justice would have been balanced. Now her already grieving family must wait again before they can start to heal from their losses.

I appeal to everyone to join me in an “Online Protest” to join Becca’s family and friends who will be physically protesting in Alabama on Monday, September 22, the day Becca’s case was scheduled to begin.

There is a list of email addresses below. It only takes a minute of your time to copy and paste your opinions and email them to officials in Alabama. Let them know you support Becca McEvoy and her family. Let them know that she has the right to a trial free from unreasonable delay. WE have to be the voice for this little victim because the laws are trying too keep her quiet, just as Bob Ingle did when he was molesting her.

Make Monday a day of protest in support of Becca McEvoy.

Drew Peterson, always composed, nodded his head. “I have nothing to hide. I just want people to hear my side for a change.”’
    *********************

Because ….Stacy and Kathleen have been hogging the airwaves with their sides of the story??

  22. I sent Greta/OTR an email with the “uncovered” embargo cover. I wish someone would have the common sense to nip this crap in the bud before Peterson and his BFF go on The Today Show with this propaganda!

  23. I hope this batard enjoyed his cloak and dagger adrenaline rush. Maybe fate has in store for him the kind of adrenaline kick I’m sure you get when you realise someone’s going to kill you. The kind suffered by Kathleen and Stacy.

Derek Armstrong and GSelig have but one rescue karma option. Drop the pigs and drop them in it. Actually, that probably goes for a few people I can think of, but because these two in particular are exploiting the victims for their own agrandisement, well, I think they’re deserving. I guess. (No, i didn’t leave JB out. He’s a given, even if he’s ‘doing his job’)

But maybe they have already. Thing is, I see GS as a character that would fold immediately at the first approach by the FBI.

  24. Bucket – agreed.

I’ve worked in marketing and there’s a line at which the moral lapse isn’t worth the payoff (not to mention the potential legal troubles).

I’m not sure these guys even see the line…or they’ve left it so far behind them that they forgot it exists…

  25. I can only imagine that what Peterson wants with this line: hear my side for a change, is to so trash his wives that he’s convinced he’ll taint their images to the point that his jury pool, should he be charged, will flock to his side and set him free. I am thinking he’s going to exploit them in ways he can only conjure up. Why not, whatever he is willing to expose comes from his first-hand knowledge.

How a womanizer, wife beater, cheater, Internet porn sex-addict, and suspect in a missing person homicide case, can possibly find someone sympathetic to his plight is beyond me. He’s as low as they come, as a man, a father and a husband. Nothing would convince me, nothing, that he’s not deserving of a place in a jail cell for the rest of his life!

  26. Hey faxy

Alas, I think there are loads of people in marketing who have no line. Never had. (I’ve worked in pharma marketing)Reminds me a bit of lawyers. LOL It’s simply whatever they think they can get away with, and the more society tolerates, the more shite they’re going to get, all over everything.

  27. Hey faxy

  28. In the cases of Armstrong and his partner Kam Wai Yu, they have no moral check whatsoever. Derek writes, Kam does the creative, they edit it, they publish it. They reap the profits and add a new wing to their horse barn and sleep comfy at night 500 miles and another country away from Bolingbrook, Illinois.

  29. October 28, 2008 marks the one year anniversary of Stacy Peterson’s disappearance.

That one sentence keeps bothering me.

It appears that it was written whenever this book deal started which had to be a few months ago.

The statement is just that, a statement with such finality.

It is assuring the reader that October 28th will come and go with Stacy still missing.

Now, if Drew is so sure she ran off, how can he and the author be so sure she won’t be back?

  30. If the tone of this book is something like: Drew Peterson – hey, he may be a rapscallion but that doesn’t mean he killed his wives. He’s lived a man’s life, grabbing all the gusto he can and love him or hate, you won’t find him boring! Livin’ lovin’ rollickin’ – Petersin’!

If that’s what he’s selling, that book jacket better be barf-proofed.

  31. Well, maybe he has been done-up like a kipper.

Can’t someone get an injunction to halt the publication? Maybe with a lien on it for the Savio estate? ($$$)

  32. hedidit // September 22, 2008 at 12:14 pm

    It should have been written:

“October 28th COULD/MIGHT/MAY mark the one year anniversary.”

    No?
    ************************

Well, they all seem pretty convinced that she’s gone for good.

  33. Well, there you are. He thinks it’s OK. That’s what makes him ulitmately an unsucessful socio/narci. Even though they’re not feelin’ it, they take their cues from others about what is accepted behaviour. They learn to fake it. It appears to be his misfortune to have had a poor model. Just lke the one you describe, Facs. Lockeroom misogyny. It’s alive and well everywhere, but his version has no finesse, no sense of appropriate discretion.

  34. Blackwell, the book store that has the “uncovered” book cover online, is located in the UK. Maybe even the book is floating out there somewhere. I’d like to sure see a pre-emptive strike!

  35. STILL on the Gov’s desk, heidi? You mean, he did nothing about it, or did it get sent back, revised and is now waiting for signature?

  36. You all do remember Brodsky GUARANTEEING the body found earlier this year, (who was later identified as Carolyn Schranz), was NOT Stacy.

How is everyone so sure of these things? How can you be sure a body is NOT Stacy? How can you know with absolute certainty she will not be back on or before or around October 28th?

That is unless you know exactly where she is.

And, if you do, why wouldn’t you say where she is? Drop a hint-and not Peoria, Thailand or wherever because so far she isn’t there.

  37. I’ve figured out how Peterson shown in a picture hooked up to a polygraph machine is going to get past Brodsky’s prior comments that they’re about the same as a coin flip.

“Against the advice of his criminal defense attorneys, Drew Peterson disclosed to a journalist…

He did so against the advice of his attorneys. But, if it proves HIS point, then it’s okay. Heh?

  38. If someone asks Brodsky about the relevance of the polygraph he can state that he advised against the book, give the same old coin flip comments and again…Peterson may give contradictory statements and you got more white noise.

So what’s the point of the book then? Pfffft. Just money, I guess.

Woman’s decomposed body discovered in Chicago
Police: Body appears to be that of a female with reddish-blonde hair

Find sparks unsubstantiated speculation it could be related to Stacy Peterson case

Drew Peterson’s attorney: “I can tell you, it is not Stacy”. Stacy Peterson vanished in October; her husband is a suspect in the disappearance

CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) — Police discovered a decomposed body Friday in southwest Chicago — a find that sparked unsubstantiated speculation it could be related to the disappearance of Stacy Peterson.

An ambulance and police cars stand by near the location where a woman’s body was found in Chicago Friday.

The body appears to be that of a female with reddish-blonde hair, a Chicago Police Department spokesman said.

A city surveyor found the remains frozen to the ground near some train tracks at about 2 p.m. The body was taken to the Chicago medical examiner’s office, where an autopsy has been scheduled.

Stacy Peterson disappeared in October. Her husband, Drew Peterson — a former police sergeant in a Chicago suburb — has been named a suspect in the disappearance.

He has consistently said he believes she ran away with another man.

The body was found about 20 miles from the Petersons’ home, where she was last seen, CNN’s Susan Roesgen reported.

Speaking to Nancy Grace on CNN Headline News, Drew Peterson’s attorney, Joel Brodsky, said local authorities have already asked a state task force working on Stacy Peterson’s disappearance not to get involved.

“I can tell you, it is not Stacy,” Brodsky said. “I can guarantee you that.”

Brodsky offered no proof of his assertion.
Drew and Stacy Peterson have been married four years and have two children. Drew has other children from a previous marriage.

Authorities are re-examining the death of Peterson’s previous wife, Kathleen Savio, who was found drowned in a bathtub in 2004.

  40. Hey Diddy

You’re right. They’ve dropped some clangers.

I recall JB trying to argue the medical toss about the Savio autopisies.Tosser. Why on earth would you argue with the empirical evidence if you’re innocent?

How could you insist upon her wellbeing if you don’t know where she went or with whom? What, the imaginary man couldn’t have harmed her? I know he said something similar eventually, but distinctly unconvincingly.

  41. Rescueapet…..I just got off the phone with the Governor’s office and it’s still on his desk and he has until around Oct 9th to decide what he is going to do with the hearsay bill.

  42. Bucket – no kidding. Dude couldn’t remember from one day to the next if Savio had slipped and drowned in the tub, or been murdered by a boyfriend.

    Thanks, for the address Rescue.

It ocurred to me that we might get some results if we email the Today show’s competition…especially if we include the leaked book cover.

    Who would that be?

  43. Hi bucketoftea…I’m usually just a reader here. Lately I truly wonder what our elected officials in Illinois due to receive their pay checks??? JMO

  44. What I don’t get is why write a book before the case even goes to trial? If he goes to trial and is found guilty then the book is just a pack of lies…does’nt make any sense to me.

  45. Dunno. Hosey did the same thing. To Hosey’s credit though, he has amassed a lot of information from covering the case for so long. Publishing the book was one way to put it all out there at once.

The Armstrong book is a very different thing to me. He was approached by Drew and Joel to write this…it’s all about Drew and the information that he would like us to receive. ‘Exposed’ doesn’t have much to do with Derek Armstrong or research. It’s pure propaganda.

  46. It seems too that, by writing this book, isn’t he, in a sense, giving away his defense before he’s even charged and tried? Wouldn’t it give the prosecution a heads-up about that?

Not to mention comparing what he told LE about his whereabouts early on in the investigation, what surveillance has captured, and what’s in this book. Seems to me it’s a lot to keep straight on Peterson’s part.

    ________________
Whether she returns before October 28, 2008, or not (and IMO it would be impossible for her to do so) … the one year anniversary of her disappearance is still going to be October 28, 2008.

IF she returned before then, she would have been gone less than a year, but October 28, 2008, still marks the anniversary of her disappearance.

See that I’m just repeating myself … 🙄 time to press Submit.
