  1. I wonder……Does the GJ only work on Thursdays ? As opposed to just hearing testimony on Thursdays ? Any GJ news at all ?
    Morning everyone.

  2. Hiya wonder

Nada that I’ve found. It’s been a few weeks now with no squeak at all from that corner. No Mike Robinson and Steve Carcerano news, either.

I’ve just spent ages going through google, acandyrose etc looking for next Savio estate hearing. I’m not having any luck.

  3. If you enjoy getting riled up by seing DP on national TV, there’s fun to be had on the 30th when he’ll be on the Today show with Armstrong.

At least, that’s what they’ve promised.

  4. Please don’t mind if I bring this post from yesterday over here…

Apr. 21, 2006: Staffed by a crew of book-publishing rookies, a new company by the name of Kunati hopes to release six books of genre fiction by national and international authors by early next year. Spearheaded by ad exec and published author Derek Armstrong, the firm hopes to get ahead, at least in part, with the help of Armstrong’s expertise in marketing and publicity.

With six employees and eight investors – all of the latter, according to Armstrong, are authors – the Mississauga-based Kunati bills itself as a publishing firm founded “by authors for authors.” But in order to position the company as something more than a self-publishing venture, Armstrong has established some rules. “The principals of the company are allowed to submit one manuscript every 12 months,” he says. “And they need the okay from three different principals. They need to go through an editorial review just like everyone else.”

    by Derek Armstrong (Author)
    ISBN: 9781601640178
    Publish date: May 2008.

    Drew Peterson Exposed
    by Derek Armstrong (Author)
    ISBN-13: 978-1601641878
    Publish Date: October 2008

Blogertize: A Leading Expert Shows How Your Blog Can Be a Money-Making Machine
    by Derek Armstrong (Author)
    ISBN: 9781601641649
    Publish Date: January 2009

Oh well, rules were made to be broken I guess!

  5. “With six employees and eight investors – all of the latter, according to Armstrong, are authors

So, if the Kunati authors are also investors in the company, they are essentially paying to publish their books. It’s truly what they call a “vanity press”.

At first I thought that it was just Derek making himself a publishing house in order to publish his own books, but now I realize he actually makes his own authors pay to publish. Oh, ewwwwww. The lowest.

  6. Gosh, I left out another title from Armstrong scheduled to be released next month. My, he’s a busy bee!

The Last Quest : Song of Montsegur (Hardcover)
    by Derek Armstrong
    ISBN-10: 1601640110
    Date: October 2008

  7. OT … Yeah! I can actually read the wordpress page … don’t know what was going on with things but for the last several days, this page was all wonky.

Links all around … strange font … bullet points in odd places. 🙄 I’m glad it (and me) are back to “normal.”

  8. Hey Faxy!
I see what they’re doing…like a co-op. Clever. But we’re used to publishers as separate entities who have reputations to protect as a kind of screen, and we feel we can trust certain publishing houses. On the other hand does that make any difference once books are on the retailers’ sheves.

  9. I don’t think I’ll ever get to see the fun that I’d like to. It involves the vengeful spirits of Stacy and Kathleen executing a prolonged and painful retribution upon the saggy carcass of their murderer.

    I think about it though.

  10. Hi Bucket, showing the author/publisher in his true light might make a difference in upcoming interviews. If the interviewers are aware that Kunati is the equivalent of a publishing “puppy mill”, and that Armstrong is not an investigative journalist, but a master marketer and opportunist, then hopefully they will bring such things up during the course of the interview.

Since we know that ‘Drew Peterson Exposed’ won’t be exposing much of anything, then I’m all about exposing this morally corrupt ‘author’. I think that the spectacle of Armstrong on the Today show, squirming under the pressure of a few direct questions could certainly have an impact on book sales, and any future bookings for interviews, etc.

I’m just fighting the way I know how.

  11. Facs, I think he’s suffering. There was some heartfelt mewing coming out on the Pretzer show. From both of them. Something else on that made me laugh. When they were talking about big bad Geraldo, DP kept saying how he’d ovewhelmed Joel!

  12. Facs, I agree with you totally. I was just thinking that there may not be much influence past those tv interviews. Right on, Facs!

  13. I think that the spectacle of Armstrong on the Today show, squirming under the pressure of a few direct questions could certainly have an impact on book sales, and any future bookings for interviews, etc.

You are assuming there would be sales of the book! 😀

  14. I’ve spent the last couple of hours looking into Kunati books and found an interesting thread on an author’s forum about them.

From what I have read, they appear to claim that they are much more successful than they actually are. I suppose that’s part of the marketing strategy so no real sin in that, but it might help explain why Armstrong suddenly took on Drew’s book project.

This Q & A with Armstrong is pretty telling as well:,date,2008-05-15.aspx

Author Question: “I have to tell you…I love your strategy and insight…What I’d really like to know…Is there anything in particular (subject-wise) that you haven’t yet found ? Is there something you’d like to see submitted that hasn’t yet dropped into your lap?…Here’s my problem—I’d like to know what genre is selling right now, and what isn’t. What type of fiction can actually cause a “buzz”? Or…is it only nonfiction that is on the publisher’s mind at this time?”

My Answer: “At Kunati, we haven’t yet felt the urge to assign, since we’re riding a tsunami of submissions as it is right now. I suppose if we did assignments, it would inevitably be in nonfiction, which is the area most publishers count on to “pay the bills.” Fiction is more a passion and love, and the nonfiction helps pay for our addiction to good fiction.”

  15. From what I’ve been reading, it looks like Derek Armstrong took on Drew’s book out of desperation, possibly to save his failing enterprise, Kunati books.

Face it, publishing is very difficult area to break into…even if you are a ‘marketing genius’.

  16. So I guess bottom line is, there’s nothing wrong with needing money and finding ways to make it. But there’s a line that most authors /publishers were hesitant to cross, and Armstrong did it.

What was Drew’s joke? “What do you get if you cross the media with a pig? Nothing, because there are some things even a pig won’t do.”

Just switch ‘the media’ with ‘Derek Armstrong’.

  17. You’re right, facs. I think I’m maybe more cynical. I feel it’s another given that many would lie down with a pig because they immediately smell the bacon. LOL

Stebic, Peterson Cases Featured on “America’s Most Wanted’

    Jennifer O’Neill , WBBM NewsRadio 780 Reporting

The stories of two missing area moms are featured during a roughly six-minute segment of the Fox TV show “America’s Most Wanted” tonight.

Family members of missing Plainfield mom Lisa Stebic and missing Bolingbrook mom Stacey Peterson were interviewed.

Stebic’s cousin, Melanie Greenburg, says the show was a sort of “how to” for other families that might be looking for a family member.

She says she was able to share all the different ways in which they tried to keep Lisa Stebic’s face and family in the public eye, such as making a website, buttons, flyers and YouTube videos.

Greenburg hopes the segment will help generate new leads in the case.

She says maybe it will reach that one person who still may know something.

It’s not like we can stand outside his prison cell protesting or talking shit, once he is locked away he becomes nothing but a number and all outside communication stops, that comment was very stupid and you should have your face slapped til it’s fire engine red, IF ANYONE IS GOING TO FUCK WITH HIM THEN THE TIME IS NOW!!

Seeing as how my emails have gone unanswered and phone calls unreturned I am just going to post here what I wanted to talk to you all about. I know you read here daily and will indeed get the message.

Every since the day I saw the video posted with that song , even after you called me , I just can’t fathom how it is in anyway helping the search for Stacy.
Roy, Sharon, Cass… you all know how much I love you and have stood by you through this but I cannot stand behind you with this one.

I know the frustration, I have someone missing in my life as well. We lost Rachel when we were young kids and at that time we behaved in this manor but we have all grow up now.Now I know that the best thing I could have done for Rachel was to try and help protect her brother and sister. All of us are adults in this case, there should be no need to have people say ” Why are they acting this way” ” Is this out of frustration?” etc. We as adults should know better. As a child I wanted nothing more than to yell at the person who took my friend away, I wanted nothing more than to harrass him and make him crack. Now I know better, as an adult I know that those behaviors can harm others. In our case it would harm her siblings. In Stacy’s case we have young kids in jeopardy.

I would like to speak to you from my viewpoint, please listen and please remember while you read this that the person writing it does indeed love you and does care for Stacy and her kids.

I have children the same age as Stacy and Kathleen’s. Looking at this from the view that I hope and feel that Stacy would have…. this is becoming very dangerous for those kids.
I can not fathom the thought of my own children hearing a nursing rhyme turned into a song about my death. I would roll in my grave knowing that my children were suffering so.

I hope by hearing this from someone that you know is only in this for the right reasons, I hope that will show you that the point is a valid one. I will understand if you never speak to me again, but I have to at least make sure you see that you don’t have to be a Drew supporter to feel this is wrong.

Please at least think about it, Roy think of your little girl, Sharon think of back when Roy was that young and how important his mommy was to him. Try and put yourself in Stacy’s place if she were still with us…… Would she have ever been okay with this happening around her babies?

To any who would see this for anything other than what it is, I do not care what you think or what you want to say. I am here for Stacy! I am here for Kathleen! I am also here for those innocent children who need people to stand up for them.

Please from this point on just write me off, I will continue on my own and would like to be left alone and out of this mess.

The way everyone here is speaking to people on who are only wanting the children to be considered is completely uneccessary and very rude. One does not have to be on Drew’s side to care about those kids.

Consider this my offical resignation as a committe member and as a member of the searchers for Stacy.

Why on earth have you posted this here?

Like it says at the top of the page, THE SEARCH FOR STACY.

This blog is about Drew Peterson and his dead wifes and the search for one of them,
this is a prime example of why nobody shows up for searches anymore.

    It is news.

  22. People I forgot about the bad words in the post and would have edited them out. Now I hope Danya deletes it and I would repost it with them gone.

  23. Media Alert: Drew Peterson to Appear Monday on CBS’ ‘The Early Show’ – September 27, 2008

(PRNewsChannel) / Tampa, Fla. and Chicago, Ill. – Drew Peterson, the former Bolingbrook, Ill. police sergeant accused in the disappearance of his wife Stacy and implicated in the death of his third wife Kathleen Savio, will appear Monday morning on CBS’ ‘The Early Show,’ Peterson’s publicist announced today.

Glenn Selig says Peterson will answer to results of a polygraph test and other issues raised in the upcoming book by investigative journalist Derek Armstrong, Drew Peterson Exposed — Polygraphs Reveal the Shocking Truth about Stacy Peterson and Kathleen Savio.

Peterson’s criminal defense attorney Joel A. Brodsky also will be in New York for the program, Selig says.

Peterson steadfastly denies any involvement in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance and Kathleen Savio’s death.

So Drew and Joel are going to upstage Armstrong by doing a show one day before?

    What gives here….?

  25. Glenn Selig says Peterson will answer to results of a polygraph test and other issues raised in the upcoming book …

Maybe they found out there was something less-than-favorable in this piece of literary genius.

  26. Ok first off I must say I rarely post here but I do read here everyday. I have seen many people bring post from Ashlens over here. Are only certain people allowed to do that? I, too, happen to agree with Fuzzmouse. Playing that song had to have hurt those children. What was the purpose of doing that knowing the kids were there too?

  27. The only reason I can think of for not wanting the post here is the fear that it will bring posters from Ashlen’s and cause a ruckus, the likes of which we have not seen (and do not miss) in awhile.

But I still say “Go FuzzMouser!”

  28. Thanks for explaining that Noway. I just think it is hard enough on the children. Touchy subject! I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful at all to anyone just didn’t understand.

  29. Happy Sunday

Does the Early Show appearance mean the Today show thing is off? Did Today dump them? One way or the other Today is probably not happy. Fancy a rival network just pulled your exclusive out from under you!

Peterson steadfastly denies any involvement in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance and Kathleen Savio’s death.

His appearance comes on the heels of a recent lawsuit filed by his relatives against WBBM-TV.

The lawsuit filed Friday in Cook County Circuit Court alleges the station’s coverage of the relationship between former NBC-affiliate WMAQ-TV reporter Amy Jacobson and Craig Stebic was false, malicious and illegal.

More WHAT? Who is related to Amy Jacobson Selig Brodsky or DP???

  32. Wasn’t the author going to be on the Today show?

If it’s accurate that the Today appearance is canceled, I can just imagine Mr. Armstrong tearing his hair out … I was so close to fame … so close!

Even if he does make it on the Today show, it’s kinda anti-climatic. 😉

“Drew Peterson Exposed breaks explosive news in the case of the disappearance of Stacy Peterson and the death of Kathleen Savio. The contents are under embargo until October 1, 2008. The news will break exclusively with Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today show.

He’ll be there long enough to do both the Early Show on Monday and the Today show on Tuesday. I don’t know if he is, but he could.

  36. Whose flight information is that?

I’m still laughing at CBS2Chicago link. I think the middle part of the story got deleted by an overzealous editor type. 😉

They got into an argument one day when Yelton wanted Drew to tell him where Lacy was and Drew refused. Yelton wanted to know that his niece was okay. Yelton had been having a hard time dealing with being on the searches, he broke down in tears at every search. Yelton lost it and wanted to go after Drew , he wanted to know why Lacy had not been seen in awhile.

Roy and Cassandra tackled Yelton in hopes of keeping him from attacking Drew. They ( Roy and Yelton) then got into a massive argument in which Roy kicked Yelton out of his home, refused to give him his belongings, took away Yelton’s puppy, and proceeded to tell Yelton that he( Roy) loved Stacy more than he ( Yelton) did.

Roy then tried to get Yeltons sex offender listing raised by calling and telling the officers that Yelton was no longer living with him ( that is an offense against the registration law) , Roy did not know that Yelton was smart enough to have already switched himself to a new address.

Roy then went and revoked the bond and Yelton was placed back in jail.

Just prior to him pulling that stunt Yelton and Cassandra called a few people and asked all of us ” If we get rid of the drama, will you come back and help us search for Stacy?” ” We have our own boats set up and want to get back to looking for Stacy and be done with all this get Drew shit” ” We want to get rid of Roy, Sharon, and all the bullshit and get back on track, this is about Stacy not this other shit.”

Less than two weeks later we all find out Yelton is back in jail.

    Sweat and Savings

Thanks for your response, Troubadour. You commented that..
“We do this with our own sweat and savings, and hope the author community will stay with us on this for awhile.”

While you’re getting your start with your own capital, once the first four books have been published, will you be aiming for an emerging publisher grant and then on to a block grant? From what I understand of BPIDP (which is not much!), that would lead to a focus on books by Canadian authors. Kunati’s plans to limit the number of titles by principals seem to be more conservative that what is permitted under BPIDP (maximum of 75% of the titles from co-owners/shareholders). Publishers who get these grants don’t publish “vanity titles” (author handing over money or committing to buying books), which is always good. (Or if they do, they don’t get grant money for them.)

I’m curious about why most of the principals in Kunati have not been identified. You’re obviously very proud of Kunati and the work you do for the company; I assume that your colleagues feel the same way. You’ve been upfront about the policy on publishing books by principals; again, I’m assuming here that Kunati won’t be hiding the fact that the author of some future title is also a principal. Just curious about why the other principals are staying in the background.

Reply to Ink slinger, grants and Kunati in Quill and Quire

Hi Ink Slinger (from Derek)… It’s heady, early days. We’re in the news already, but we’re still working 7 days a week 20 hours a day (give or take). A lot of these questions have — thanks to all of your feedback — become subjects of coming press releases. I now find I no longer have time for writing! To answer your question: two other principals are James McKinnon and Kam Wai Yu, both authors, neither on the “slate” for publishing through Kunati — the remaining five are members of various author groups I’m in who wanted to be part of the business (and have not yet submitted any titles for editorial review — they have to go through the same process as any author, however).

James is our editor-in-chief and handles acquisitions. This article in Quill and Quire might actually clarify this (Quill and Quire is Canada’s Publisher’s Weekly) — you’ll find the article on their website (and on ours at or on our publisher’s marketplace site ( I’ll post the content in another post (to keep these posts short).

If you just go by the online retailers, it appears that Kunati’s spring lineup isn’t selling. I’ve seen self-published books with better rankings. So I’m wondering if this is yet another start-up publisher that’s not going to make it.

It’s been a month since I started the chart for The Secret Ever Keeps. The sales are so slow that you can count them individually–four books in one month. Fifty books a year at that rate. That’s got to be disappointing for kunati, considering the work they put into this.

My guess is they won’t be around much longer. Esp. when the returns start pouring in.

I checked out the Kunati website this afternoon, and was pleased to read this: “Several Kunati books topped the Amazon rankings recently, and retail chain and independent support will send Kunati back to press for all eight summer titles.”

Which sounds great, since Troubadour said a couple of weeks ago that only .05% of their books were sold on Amazon. Unfortunately, when I checked at salesrankexpress, nothing had changed–not a single title was below 100,000, and only one was below 200,000. With such unsubstantiated claims–topping the Amazon rankings–you have to wonder if the other sales claims are equally credible.

    Call Kunati!!

  49. 😀

So … what you’re saying is that if 10 people buy this book, DA will be doing the happy dance?

P.S. Now that I think about it … that can’t be wonderwoman. Her helmet is red, white, and blue. 😉

  50. Sorry about the “post-storm”…but just trying to show that Kunati’s claims about their success don’t necessarily pan out and could certainly account for Armstrong selling out and whoring himself to ghost-write Drew’s book.

  51. Wouldn’t it be something if the book has the total opposite spin that that on one someone would “whore themselves out for”

Whatever the spin it’ll sell copies and that’s the name of the game.

    Armstrong or Hosey.

Do you honestly think either one cares that much about anything other than fattening up their wallets?

  52. teneleven, I don’t really understand why anyone would publish a book about a case that hasn’t been resolved yet.

In Hosey’s case, I think I understand it a little more (or forgive it a little more) since he’s a local reporter who has been close to the players from the beginning. He’s a journalist, and it kind of follows that he might follow up his many stories with a book.

In Armstrong’s case, I find it hard to cut him any slack. He’s got no history with the case. He’s written historical mysteries based on a the Tarot deck, reality TV shows, and a “House”-derivitive! The thought that he took the bait when Drew, Joel and Glenn were trawling for an author, doesn’t bode well.

I’d love to see this thing turn out to be an actual expose (as the title would suggest), but I just don’t see how it could happen seeing as it appears to be based solely on first-person accounts by Drew.

I just have a completely bad feeling about the thing.

I think they have disabled comments for everyone.

Well, hopefully this is the beginning of the end.

  56. 1wonderwoman // September 28, 2008 at 8:33 pm

I wonder.. Why they did that ?

If I were a betting person, I would bet that the fact that one of their own, a devoted search team member, has gone public with her unhappiness in the handling, that is has caused some internal issues.

  57. Jack,

I am very curious to find out who Hang Drew is . Do you know for real? I would love to know who felt that my attempt to be honest was worthless on a shithole blog.

  58. If they cannot understand just how hard it was for me to post that, this case and each of them have been a huge part of my life and became like family to me. There is not one person who can say I did not care for them or that I have been in this for anything other than the right reasons.
Whoever thinks other wise has really lost sight of the true reason so many of us get involved in these cases in the first place.
Yes, I messed up. I got to close to this one and became to close with each of the people involved. That clouded my ability to stand up for things and to keep myself on the right track. I just wish they would understand I do care, I do support Stacy and Kathleen. I just do not support doing things that are immoral and illegal.

  59. I think your post was brilliant and from the heart and I would bet it was not an easy thing for you to do.

Truthfully I think the only deaf ears it will fall upon publicly are those who support the vulgar, vile, “internet party”.

I think that those who have followed this since the beginning, those who are in it for bringing Stacy home and having Kathleen’s and her murdered put to justice, whether it be Drew Peterson or not, are very very proud of you.

Just because someone does not jump on the he’s a guilty pig wagon publicly doesn’t mean they don’t think he is a guilty pig, just are more tasteful in their approach.

I am very proud of you Fuzzymouser!

  60. There will be a major backlash, you do know that right?

You have to stay strong in your decision. It is the right one.

  61. Thank you Jack. I didn’t think many would understand just how hard it was.

I know it may not make things get better, but I had hope that it would.

  62. gentlemanjack // September 28, 2008 at 8:52 pm

… I am very proud of you Fuzzymouser!

You are not the only one, believe me. 😀

  63. gentlemanjack // September 28, 2008 at 8:53 pm

There will be a major backlash, you do know that right?

You have to stay strong in your decision. It is the right one.

What is the worst they can do to me? I have all the people who have worked with this on me who can prove that I have always been here for the right reason. So what if they want to shit talk about me, so what if they right a book and smear my name.

There is nothing they can do that is worse than me feeling bad by not saying something or the guilt I would have felt taking part in it and then having something happen to those kids.

  64. Thanks Jack. It feels better now having got some more of that off my chest.
Not much more to do now but pray for some change and for people to understand.

  65. I would bet that even some of the people/forum/blog members who some have seen as/accused of being the “enemy” and not mattering, Amandareckonwith, BigM, Kimmer (no disrespect just making a point) understand and are proud of you too.

I hope that your giant step in the right direction will bring some renewed hope and support to the cause.

  66. I feel bad about believing so many things about so many different people. I apologize to any and all who I thought ill of due to things I was being told.

I hope all of them see this and can understand and hopefully accept my apology.

  67. Fuzzymouser, yes, we know each other somewhat.

Contrary to what Hang_Drew thinks he knows, I am not a member of the Peterson Family.

  68. This site has a mention of a September 30 ‘media appearance’ for Armstrong’s book on the Today show, but I don’t see any other announcements besides that.

I think it could be old info. I mean, why would Selig put out a press release for the Early Show appearance and not mention an appearance on the Today Show…if there is one?

  69. Fuzz I want you to know I am proud of you too. Posting that had to of brought up many emotions within your soul. You are a sweetheart. We have talked many times and the only vibes I picked up from you were true concern over finding Stacy. Please don’t let this crush your spirit! Praying for ya!

Drew Peterson spins his side of the story in a new book. And no, it’s not titled “If I Did It.”

The former Bolingbrook police sergeant tells all—or maybe not — in “Drew Peterson Exposed,” due out Wednesday from Canadian publisher Kunati Books.

For the first time, Peterson lays out a timeline of his whereabouts on Oct. 28, 2007, the day his fourth wife, Stacy, vanished. He also submitted to a polygraph, according to author Derek Armstrong.

“There’s some pretty stinging indictments of him, but I think the book does tell the whole story,” Armstrong said. “It’s very much an investigation of what I think everyone missed.”

Police have called Peterson a suspect in the 23-year-old Stacy’s disappearance. Authorities are also reviewing the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, which was reclassified from accidental to a homicide.

Peterson’s publicist says he’s scheduled to appear Monday morning on CBS’ “The Early Show,” but the 54-year-old claims he’s already tired of the book buzz.

“Actually, I’m bored with it all,” he said in a telephone interview with the Tribune. “I’m waiting for the movie to come out.”

    Who would play him?

    “Denzel Washington.”

While some might argue Peterson has already exposed himself enough—after all, he did entertain the idea of a “Win a Date with Drew” contest on Steve Dahl’s radio show—attorney Joel Brodsky said his client won’t make any money on the book and just needed to speak out.

“He felt if nothing else, at least the guy would listen to him,” said Brodsky. “I mean, nobody is going to paint him as a saint.

    “Maybe his mom. Maybe.”

Good morning all! Don’t forget that I can’t see The Early Show here! I count on you to keep me in the loop! 🙂

  71. Hi wddarlin

No word from Basherette in yonks and yonks. Rescueapet and others have called out to her here periodically, but no response.

We love you, bash, and thank you for you very entertaining posts. Miss you. 🙂

  72. Just watched Drew on the EARLY SHOW. Here are my thoughts:

    1. The biggest is Drew’s statement on “the night Stacy left”. His exact words. “The night”. It’s known in all evidence presented she became missin in the day. Not the night. Supposedly Drew was out calling and looking for her during the day. So why did he say “THE NIGHT”. Another flub up in his lies is my reasoning.

    2. He stated that Stacy’s relationship with her family was “off and on”. She loved them one day, but wanted to get far away from them the next.(A definite lie in my opinion. Especially when she was the major party and celebrating planner. I don’t buy it.)

    3. He passed the polygraph tests and it will be presented in the book EXPOSED. Doesn’t mean a hill of beans to me. Any psychosociopath who takes a polygraph becomes to a point that they believe their own lies. I don’t believe in the results presented and the timing of the polygraph enabled Drew to have his innocense planted firmly in his mind. It means nothing in my book.

    4. He presented himself as a slouch. Unshaved, slouching in the chair. I’m sure he was coaxed to sit “openly” with his arms not folded across his chest, etc. Except he took it too far to the point that it is obvious his posture was purposeful in trying to compose himself in a way to deceive.

If you didn’t see the show, you didn’t miss anything.

Just more lies and his firm stance on he is innocent and more of the same blah blah blah about not going into Kathleen’s house as she would accuse him of stealing and he only went in when he heard the yelling. That he waited a whole day to go back (after trying to bring the kids the day before and no answer)….because it was a long holiday weekend and he thought maybe he messed up the timing of when he was supposed to return the children. BIG FAT LIE. With 17 calls to the police on each other regarding the kids visitation times….there is NO WAY he would have just figured he messed up. He knew she was already in that house dead and was buying more time to plan how to “discover” her.

  73. Fuzzy, You did right. What they are doing there is a disservice to Stacy, Kathleen and her children. I’ve always felt Hang_Drew was Len himself. I just find it odd that he up’s and quits posting …which I believe was due to the ISP telling him to lay back….and yet he allows that blog to continue on. He is deceiving and my guess is he is Hang_Drew.

  74. Hi Lavanda! 😀
Thanks for your update/views. Interesting to hear he was slouched etc. He sounded a bit pale and wan on the Pretzer radio program, too. I think he is suffering.

  75. The three most important questions, on the lie detector test, showed deception. Drew says, he has no idea why. Do you know where she is, did she call, did you have anything to do with her disappearance.

  76. My guess is that he says “the night Stacy left” to emphasize that she called him that evening (around 9?) to tell him that she was leaving him.

No idea why the lie detector test showed deception on the three most important questions?

I have an idea … maybe because there was deception on his part.

  77. NOWAY SAID :
No idea why the lie detector test showed deception on the three most important questions?

I know why he failed. Jesh, its because the examiner is an alcohlic with a criminal past and wants write a book to cash in on this case and he also wants to keep DP sinister ! That;s it I just KNOW IT ! LOL

  78. He said there was confusion on his part and he thought Kathleen might have been giving him an extra day because it was a holiday.

Easter was April 11 in 2004. Possibly he was talking about their spring break?

But it would have been clearly indicated who had the children for spring break … IMO. And there is no way he would have assumed this, considering how stormy their relationship was as far as being even minutes late when returning children.
