  2. Good Morning 😀

Thank you for the great little film, Danya. It has given me a better appreciation of what the searchers do (nice editing too 😉 )

  3. Good Morning,

The following is the press release for the candlelight vigil for OCt. 28th.

    Press Release:

Candlelight Memorial: A candle light memorial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, 2008 at 7pm to honor Stacy Ann Peterson and to promote an end to Domestic Violence.
In Bolingbrook, Illinois, a candlelight vigil, and recognition of Domestic Violence Month, will be held at 7pm beginning at 392 Pheasant Chase Drive, and ending at 6 Pheasant Chase Court. The Vigil is being presented by: the elder family members of Stacy Ann Peterson, the family of Kathleen Savio, and the searchers for Stacy Peterson. The group will peacefully gather at 392 Pheasant Chase Drive between the hours of 6:30pm and 7pm and then will proceed with lighted candles to 6 Pheasant Chase Court where Stacy Peterson was last seen one year ago on this date. A local Pastor will conduct a short speech and prayer. A video will be shown in remembrance of Stacy Ann Peterson; weather permitting. Those who wish to stay for coffee, conversation, and refreshments will be graciously welcomed into the home of Stacy’s friend Sharon Bychowski following the event. The group is holding this vigil to pray for the victims of Domestic Violence, and to raise awareness for missing persons everywhere.
October is Domestic Violence month. Presenters will be handing out Purple Ribbons as a symbol of support to those organizations that support an end to Domestic Violence in America. Purple was also Stacy Ann Peterson’s favorite color.
The family members would like to thank all those individuals and organizations who have come together to assist in the search for Stacy Peterson, and those who continue to work toward putting an end to Domestic Violence in America.

Here’s another link to the Spira film, for those like me who had a little trouble finding it.

Thanks, Facs. When I can’t find something, I’ve learned to check Danya’s Twitter notes on this page. 😉

  5. just my 2 cents here. for the last year we have been trying to honor cass’s wishes. she was the closest person to sp right. now we have all heard that cass wants no part of a public vigil. that leaves me to think she sees what it is doing to the children. or she just might be in a different stage of the grief process.i really don’t know. but for some reason she doesn’t want it. so why all of a sudden are cass’s wishes thrown out the window?

  6. I’m sorry to see that “elder family members” in that press release.

What a strange way to draw attention to the fact that not all family members are supporting the vigil. IMO

  7. so strange in hoseys book he states he thinks drew will walk. anyone got any inside scoop on that? i would’nt promote a book that he clearly states that in.

  8. yes noway it was just his opinion. but by putting it in writing he kind of sets a stage.because he is a reporter privy to stuff that i am not. sure makes me think why does hosey think this. especially since hosey was chummy with len & paula who state dp will be locked up. just hits me as strange. is armie short for armstrong? or just a pet name. curious about that too

  9. Itsok if cass wants to be alone but why can’t we do both? This is not just about Cass. Stacy has more friends in her life then anything will everknow !!!

  10. feistygurl – It is beyond doubt that Armstrong merely collected public media accounts everything that he reported on, except for his one-on-one with Peterson. Remember seeing that discussed here, maybe? That’s the point. He did no in-depth investigating of his own, he merely compared public witness statements that the media reported on with what Drew Peterson told him and wants the story to be. Therefore, there’s no “inside” information about Peterson walking, it’s merely Armstrong’s opinion.

Along those lines, it was his opinion in one section of the book that he didn’t think Peterson is a killer, yet, now, he’s saying he’s not so sure and even makes it sound as though he does not believe in his innocence.

His book is all smoke and mirrors, and he’s going to say anything he can to get it to sell.

  11. Oh no-this is not going to be good. I really thought that they were going to try to come together and fix the situation. Sad, sad, sad.

I guess the elder family members are only listening to the people next door and their BS and not looking at the what is really going on. Now you will have the biggest divide that has ever happened.

Great job groupies. Proud now? I guess that you couldn’t even tell the truth when it really mattered. Not only have you made most of us completely walk away from helping, you have now alienated and divided the family. You claim to support Stacy 100%, well you just absolutely hurt the very person that she loved the most. You all kissed the @sses of Cass and Sharon to get close to this case and now this! I guess hanging out next door tormenting Drew, the children and getting drunk is your real motivation. It’s hilarious that your dumb blog has now been quiet-kissing up at it’s finest! You must have known that it is wrong, wrong if you have stopped posting now. Why didn’t you take it down? Shame on all of you! Pathetic!

More support lost to find Stacy as it’s just the same ole drunk group. Is there not ONE brain between the group of you?

Cassandra-my thoughts and prayers are with you today and everyday. I really hope that this will work out in some way. I’ll keep you and Stacy in my prayers. Pam too!

Blogger here-please do not take this personal or if you post over “there” it’s not directed at you in any way! This is directed at about 8-10 people that have truly lost their minds and have no heart. They know who they are. Cass and Pam are now the target??? Wow-I never saw that one coming. Again, shame on them!

    Fuzz-what the heck? I am stunned! 😥

It might be best to stop posting the personal family problems here or anywhere else. Doing what you are doing right now is only going to hurt your family further.

Instead of a posting here, maybe you all should sit down and talk about everything.

This is not getting support for Stacy. Your comment about Stacy having more friends-NOT ONE OF THE PEOPLE THAT IS THERE EVER MET HER!

Please don’t disrespect Stacy further, keep it within your family. This wont make people want to help. That is a 200% fact!

  13. From what I can tell Hosey talked to all sides in order to cover the story the way a journalist should. Off the record, it’s very clear that he dislikes Drew and thinks Joel is a moron. Of course he can’t state that when taking a journalist’s stance. I think he did a very good job of remaining unbiased professionally. Sure, he’ll make money from his book but he’s a journalist by trade and I don’t hold that against him. I dont think his book is great, but I think it’s journalistically sound as an independent investigation.

Then you’ve got Armstrong, who is not a reporter, nor a journalist. He’s a novelist and a publisher and he uses his own publishing company to publish his own books. No credibility. He heard that Drew was trying to get a book published so he approached Selig to write it. The book was rushed, under-researched and worst of all, transparently biased towards Drew’s innocence. Yet, in all of the book’s marketing he tries to represent it as an indictment of Drew. It’s reprehensible.

  14. Facsmiley there are reports out that you are writing a book on the peterson case. I can’t really tell you where I heard it but is it true?

  15. Rescue! 😀

How sweet of you to acknowledge my diurnal cycle being eccentric to your own. Yep, almost 7:30. daaaark. When do your clocks go back?

  16. Hiya, facs!

I don’t know when our clocks go back…this sun. or next sun, think. It makes a big difference here. Around Chritsmas/solstice it is dark by 3pm.

  17. What Neil Schori was saving for investigators has been on my mind. She may have told him who else may have been involved… another big reason to wait for the hearsay bill. Just a thought.

  19. There’s still a little over a week to go before the candlelight vigil. I know others have differing opinions, but I’m still holding out hope that all the family members and supporters can come together.

And if they stay respectfully apart, that’s OK too…but sadder.

  20. Wow, Bucket, never thought of that!

Stephen and his ex-girlfriend may just play a role in that. Not saying they’re guilty of anything, but the question of whether they were home at the time this all occurred, thus, being alibis themselves, could get interesting. Especially, since it was very notable that Stephen’s ex gf did appear for a long while at the GJ proceedings.

What Neil Schori was saving for investigators has been on my mind. She may have told him who else may have been involved… another big reason to wait for the hearsay bill. Just a thought.
    ***********************************

Right. He said on Greta’s that there was information that he could not share with her.

    Go, hearsay bill!

  22. I also remember reading somewhere that Stacy told Neil Schori and one other person about what happened the night Kathleen died.

We have no idea (well, I don’t) who that person is and what they may have to say.

  23. I hope not. I don’t think anything she said or wrote about it would ever be admissable. But she was really close to Tina.

I really hope it was to someone still living.

  24. Looks as if this appearance is still scheduled. If he doesn’t blow this off, it will be a good opportunity to ask Armstrong some questions, either by phone or chat:

Facsmiley there are reports out that you are writing a book on the peterson case. I can’t really tell you where I heard it but is it true?

    Is this true?

Are you Anon11 who had been visiting Lavanda’s chat room?

  27. Nevermind, I know the answer to that one. 😀

On the topic of who Stacy told about Drew killing Kathleen (other than the pastor) … I don’t think it was anyone who was family. That’s just my opinion, no factual basis.

I don’t think it was Harry Smith since the conversations they shared were only to set up meeting and discuss divorce in a general way as it applied in Stacy and Drew’s case.

I don’t think they would have gotten into details over the phone.

Again, no factual basis … just my opinion.

  28. I just came across some interesting discrepancies in Drew’s timeline. He had Armstrong ripping up other people’s version of the timeline, but on Nancy Grace October 31, Hosey claims to have just spoken to Drew, yet Drew’s ‘official’ account differs from what he said back then.

    Drew’s Official (June 2008) Timeline:
Drew gets off work between 5:30 and 6 am and goes to sleep.

    HOSEY:
… He said he got home about 3:00 or 4:00 o`clock in the morning…

    Drew’s Official (June 2008) Timeline:
Between 10 and 11am the children awaken him and Stacy is gone.

    HOSEY:
Well, just a couple minutes ago, he told me the last time he saw her was about 9:00 AM, when she was on her way out to paint that house

  29. Well, you know how Hosey was always misquoting Drew … 😀

Maybe this is one of the reasons Joel and Drew started saying that about Hosey. BTW, I had read that before … about Drew saying he woke briefly when the kids came in their bed at 9, but it was on a blogboardforum.

  30. That was what he told Hosey three days after Stacy disappeared. Drew is a big fan of “fresh” evidence. So shouldn’t we believe what he was saying then over what he was telling someone this summer?

  31. Well, not exactly “believe” but consider to be his actual statement. Because, of course I don’t ‘believe’ either version…

  32. her college buddies?

Facs – that’s the sheer joy, I believe, of law enforcement wanting him to keep blabbing. He keeps changing the lies. It’s very hard to keep up a lie, hard to remember what you said. When you tell the truth, that’s not an issue. The truth is never hard to remember.

  33. Do you think it is possible she thought she told someone when in fact they didn’t get the hint, or thought she was just trying ideas out, as you do in conversation.

  34. Noway said: I don’t think it was Harry Smith since the conversations they shared were only to set up meeting and discuss divorce in a general way as it applied in Stacy and Drew’s case.

I don’t think they would have gotten into details over the phone.

Again, no factual basis … just my opinion.
    *************

I knew they had met in person, but wanted to find it before I responded to your thinking they only talked on the phone:

Smith on Friday also said that Drew Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy, met with him twice in the week before she vanished to solicit advice for her own divorce from the embattled Bolingbrook ex-cop.

    http://www.suntimes.com/news/peterson/832553,CST-NWS-boling08.stng

  35. I’m guessing this timeline is the same timeline he gave LE … didn’t JB say that?

I do remember Armstrong saying that DP had given a timeline to LE but that he (Armstrong) had not seen it.

It would be a major blunder for JB to let his client give a different timeline to anyone. I thought that’s why he didn’t let Drew answer questions about the timeline … because you get all mixed up over time. 🙄

  36. He also said he didn’t believe in letting his client take a poly, because they’re inaccurate.

    ‘nough said.

  37. Thanks, Rescue. I’m glad to know that she actually met with him.

If he is the person Stacy told about Drew having killed Kathleen, I imagine he felt pretty sick inside on hearing that.

  38. facsmiley // October 17, 2008 at 1:50 pm

I also remember reading somewhere that Stacy told Neil Schori and one other person about what happened the night Kathleen died.

I would have thought that about anyone.

But it didn’t happen with NS, so who knows.

As Bucket mentioned above, maybe they didn’t realize at the time what Stacy was telling them. It was only after she disappeared that it clicked?

  41. I also think that Harry Smith had something to add in the Kathleen Savio investigation, especially since he had knowledge from Kathleen that Drew threatened her. I can understand why he’d be cautious during the actual proceedings, but I wonder why his information didn’t ring bells after she died?

  42. SCHORI: I asked for more specific things. She gave me details that I really can’t share. But I just got her talking about it and asked her what — this is a crazy amount of information. Again, I asked her, What exactly can I do with this? Why did you tell me? I asked her if she had ever told anyone else. She said at the time, she had never told another person.

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,316418,00.html

  43. I don’t remember it as being anything Schori said. I remember hearing it recently – like within the last couple months. Can’t remember where, though.

  44. I think it was something HeDidIt posted here. It was during the flury of articles that she posted here, on Ashlen’s and then on the forum.

    I think.

  45. But I have to say I think Peterson could actually first get charged in the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, before Stacy is even found. The cover of the “Chicago Sun Times,” Stacy told a clergyman Drew killed Kathleen Savio, and the report says she told others as well.

Updated 10/17: Oak Brook department suspends Steve Peterson for improper use of police data

    October 17, 2008

    By JIM JAWORSKI
Oak Brook Police officer Steve Peterson, son of former Bolingbrook officer Drew Peterson, has been suspended for improperly using police data, village officials said Friday.

Steve Peterson has been found to have violated department rules for using police databases for personal reasons, assistant village manager Blaine Wing said. Peterson has been suspended for 25 days without pay.

Police Chief Tom Sheahan was unavailable for additional comment late Friday afternoon.

Drew Peterson drew national attention when he was accused of killing his wife Stacy. He has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged. Steve Peterson is Drew Peterson’s son through his first marriage.

  48. Thanks, apple. I hadn’t seen this posted. I put it in here because it’s short and links have a tendency to not work when you want them!

  49. Yep, noway, I am thinking the same thing. I wonder if I can find out if mine has been run at some point and time.

  50. I wonder….Why did he get off so easy ? That is a firable offense here, no tolerance, no chances
    period,no discussion. He gets a suspension ??
Housten we got a problem !!

  51. I guess the rules were meant for those other cops. 🙄

I suppose this happens a lot. I don’t know what the ramifications would be here, wonderwoman.

But if he had been fired, and previously other cops had been suspended without pay, DP would have said they were targeting his son because he was his son.

  52. Re: Steve Peterson – oh, that is so not good to hear.
Now a 25 day suspension for improperly using police data? On who?

25 days of no pay, with a baby coming. This is #3 or #4 in his short career so far, isn’t it? Wonder how they “caught” him doing this?

Is this the girl that there was the picture of her jumping on the bed at a hotel?

  54. Who cares what Drew Peterson says, about his son or anything else. What disgusting is that Drew Peterson can’t keep his children out of his affairs (no pun intended) and encompasses them in his less than stellar life. Too bad. Too bad Stephen doesn’t straighten up and fly right, for his own good and for his own family to be.

  55. Sorry guys I did not realize it would upset them so that I was here chatting with you. We have had some great conversations lately.

Thanks to whomever sent me the post with that stuff, I’ll save it with the rest.

    Interesting about Steve, hmmmmm.

  56. Good Evening All,

Just to clear the air from some morning posts, that have been since deleted, I am not Roy Taylor.

For the press release, Stacy’s grandfather(who loved her very much) will be there, along with her Uncle Kyle who continues to assist in the searches and two cousins.

Also read the article on Steve Peterson, very interesting, and wonder where he learned this from????

  57. whitesoxfan – he HAS a mother to help him see the error of his ways. Maybe he should start confiding in her and asking her for some guidance that doesn’t run parallel to his father’s. It certainly isn’t getting him good name recognition.

I guess it would be nice to believe he really is doing the right thing, and we just don’t know all the details regarding his cooperation, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

  58. Well, you wonder what he’s thinking by possibly turning a blind eye to his father’s questionable endeavors.

Now he’s got his own child on the way to think about.

If Drew Peterson can refer to his own mother as being senile because she was compelled to testify before the Grand Jury, what does that show about his respect for her? It’s about time Steve figures out that his father uses people, including him and his half-siblings. Maybe he’s more of a man than we give him credit for. Hope so.

  59. WhiteSoxFan….chuckling here. Your now Roy? Although, I adore him and admire him, I know your not. I will see you on Oct. 28. Thanks for all updates on that. Say hello to your loved ones from me.

  60. applealley,

Rec’d call at work about morning posts. But they are now gone and thought I would just clear up if inquirying minds still wanted to know.

See you on the 28th. Please make sure you find me and say hi to us all.

  61. Drew Peterson’s son gets new suspension
    October 17, 2008 at 7:17 PM | Comments (0)

As he waits for an appeal of an 8-day suspension meted out in April, an Oak Brook police officer was handed a stiffer punishment for running unauthorized computer checks of village staffers’ vehicles, authorities said today.

Stephen Peterson misused the Police Department’s mobile data system to run license tags of more than 10 village personnel, including Village Manager David Niemeyer and Deputy Police Chief Steve Larson, the village’s Police and Fire Commission ruled Thursday, suspending Peterson for 25 days.

The three-member panel also agreed with Police Chief Thomas Sheahan that Peterson made improper personal queries on the Law Enforcement Agency Data Systems computer.

Peterson argued that he was making random checks, as allowed under department policy, and that he typically checks 50 to 100 license plates each shift.

Peterson will be given the opportunity to appeal the ruling before the suspension is enforced. A DuPage County judge in January will consider his appeal of the suspension he received for being in uniform and driving a squad car, without permission from superiors, when he appeared at a Will County grand jury.

The panel was investigating the role of his father, former Bolingbrook Police Sgt. Drew Peterson in the disappearance of Drew Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy.

Maybe that is how Daddy got started.

Can’t keep his nose clean at least while this is going on? MO looks rilly rilly rilly bad….he doesn’t think they’re watching him?

  63. Greetings from the Frozen North! Sorry about the suprisingly abrupt manner in which I was separated from my computer- MRSA friggin’ sucks! Anyhoot, it’s nice to be back home again. I missed you, and anyone that I might have possibly *not* missed- well, what can I say? My aim is getting better! 😉

Holy shitake mushrooms- I’ve got LOADS of catching up to do, I see! Well, I’d better get a start on it…

  64. Anyone remember reading this?

    Quote:

“Peterson has summoned his neighbor to the house, because Peterson said he hadn’t heard from his estranged wife in nearly two days, Davlantes reported. ***Peterson told Carcerano, who was a locksmith and was going to be at the house soon, to open up the house and see what was going on.***”

I think I just found the answer to the locksmith query that I posted at SYM. As I recall, JB said he had no idea who the locksmith was or the company he worked for, but he’d find out and get back to me with it. He never did get back to answering that query.

Well, here’s the link to the partial transcript of the Carcerano interview at Candyrose’s site (scroll down to Nov. 8, 2007 to see Steve’s quote):

    http://w ww.acandyrose.com/stacy_peterson_recap3.htm

  66. Basherette – I am so glad you are back. I have been wondering how you are feeling. 🙂

I didn’t remember that specific statement – wonder what is up with that?

  67. Here’s another one:

“Rossetto told reporters that he and Stacy were not having an affair. He said they traded flirtatious text messages ***and e-mails***.”

Emails, hmmm? Don’t quite recall hearing DP/JB ever talk about “racy” ***emails***- only about those “racy text messages” sent to Stacy’s phone…

Also don’t ever recall reading/hearing if and/or how Stacy replied to any of those naughty text /*email* bits.

    Hurm…

  68. Good Heavens, Basherette. I thought my eyes were deceiving me!!!!!!!!!!!

It is sooooo wonderful to see you back. I am sorry you were down for the count for so long, but, believe me, I continued to send out my queries about you, hoping to hear.

This is a nice surprise, and I hope to see a lot of you for now on!

  69. Good Morning All,

Good luck to the searchers today. I’m unable to help for the near future with a bad back. Stuck watching football until the baseball game tonight.

Hopefully, all will remain somewhat calm on the blog today.

  70. Good “afternoon” Bucket. Ms. Bucket, are you a member of any other site, such as at Lavanda’s, where you have PM available?

  71. This will be their explanation for thet missing laptop. And more “evidence” that Stacy left and took the laptop. Just tucked it in her bikini and left. 🙄

  72. Drew would have been dying to see what all was on that laptop. Think he took it with him on the three-day-trip to peruse at his leisure?

  73. And to remove the tracking software he had on it?

Maybe he stripped it and then donated it to some nonprofit organization.

  74. You can rest assured, if there was anything on it helpful to him, we wouldn’t be talking about the missing laptop.

One can also guess that she had a journal on that laptop, or, yes, maybe more emails, but emails are things LE can track down.

  75. Well, Scott R. may have kept some of those exchanges.

My guess is that if there was anything beneficial to Drew on that laptop, it was offset by something that would have worked against him. Big time.

  76. Emails are electronic records that are stored on servers. A power higher than ours, so to speak.

So, the email issue is not, IMHO, something he could toss away with the laptop. What he could toss away was personal data stored on that laptop. Again, a journal of some kind.

And, I believe that is probably true – there was something on that laptop that was harmful to him, or he would’ve had Brodsky waving the thing around like a flag. That, I believe, is indisputable.

  77. Rescue, without the laptop, I suppose we can hope that Stacy had an e-journal, she also had a backup copy, and it was stored somewhere other than her house.

  78. Noway – yes, but let’s hope this time it works to unravel the mystery of her disappearance and presumed homicide, and not wind up falling on deaf ears.

Will County State’s Attorney’s Office can make all the noise they want about investigating everything now, including Kathleen’s death, the investigation, and Stacy’s disappearance. But, the noise is useless if they don’t bring it to a conclusion! And that is just my opinion. As is everything I say on this blog.

  79. Rescue,

My guess is we will see some action after the election(11/4) and after the House signs the amended hear say bill(11/12).

  80. I know I’d read (article) that Steve C. said that Drew wanted him to meet at Kathleen’s house, that he (Drew) had called the locksmith and he was meeting them at the house.

Also, that Drew and the locksmith waited outside while Steve C., Mary, Mary’s husband, and (possibly) Mary’s son went inside.

    UGH!

  81. CARCERANO: Sure. I was coming back from work that evening and I saw Drew in the subdivision. He pulled up to my car and asked me to go to the house in about 10, 15 minutes, he was going to have a locksmith come to the house and her best friend, my neighbor, was also going to be there, and I pulled up in the driveway and went and got her best friend. We went over there. The locksmith opened up the door and her best friend’s husband went towards the garage to see if the car was there. Her best friend and I went up the stairs, she checked the bed area. The covers were kind of ruffled over. I went into the closet and then I proceed to go into the bathroom, I noticed an exercise ball or a balloon, and as I walked back towards the back of the bathroom, I found Kathy lying naked…

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,310736,00.html

Does not sound like Steve was saying he was the locksmith here … but people do lie.

  82. whitesoxfan – it’s funny how the Hearsay Bill had an “oversight,” it was caught, sent back, and now is due to be signed once and for all, all in tune with the elections. Aw, politicians. Aw, politics.

  83. Strangely, I know I never heard or read anything about the locksmith being before the GJ as a witness. I would think he’d be a pretty important one to hear from – get a sense of the situation in real time.

  84. I doubt anyone would have recognized him by looking at him … and isn’t that how Danya said they basically were doing it?

I mean unless he wore his locksmith uniform when he went to testify . . .

  85. The way they fought like cats and dogs, or lions and bears, whichever, I have a real hard time being convinced otherwise that he set up the whole thing.

If she wasn’t there to take the kids back when she was supposed to, he’d have been on the phone documenting it with his department so he could get yet another zing against her. You know, make it 19 domestic calls, instead of the 18 that are on record. No, but this is the ONE time that he was genuinely concerned about her well-being.

However, that isn’t enough to put him away for killing her. None of this speculation and reasoning is. Hopefully, what will put him away wasn’t buried the first time, or shoved in some inventory room corner. The kind of stuff that jurors can hold in their hands, see pictures of, hear blood/hair/dna evidence about. Phone calls to a cell phone when he was supposed to be home in bed and given an alibi for. Others in his house that saw him arrive back when he was supposed to be there the whole time. One of them is “missing.” Maybe, there are “two” more that aren’t.

  86. rescue,

When I first heard about the oversite on hear say bill, I was dunbfounded and first thoughts were was it done on purpose to get someone off.
But after some soul searching and conversation, realize we are all human and mistakes happen. Thank goodness it was caught in time.

To all the ladies on the blog,

    HAPPY SWEETESS DAY!

    …………………………

Hell this is just the kind of thing Randy Mucha was doing. You can bet Steve was trying to get dirt on people because of where their cars were parked and stuff.

  88. “Mucha was arrested and charged with using the department’s computer to illegally obtain information about a couple who started a local Citizens group (additional charges were also added approx. 1 month later). After much harassment by Mucha, the couple filed a lawsuit against Mucha and the City, in which they were awarded $2 Million.

    Interesting.

  89. I believe somewhere (maybe the same gretawire post), he was assuring us Steve P was a good guy. That’s some recommendation!

  90. Hey Rescue,
I ran over to register at lavanda so to pm, but haven’t had the confirmation email yet…maybe didn’t take?

  91. Fuzz-I do not and would not think that you were involved. Sorry that I didn’t answer you earlier-I needed to take a little break.

In regards to plates being run-if you believe that your license plates have been run-submit a complaint to the DMV or contact the police. Each and every person that runs a plate has a personal log in. FYI-insurance companies can run them as well.

The people that are running the plates of the persons visiting Drew had better take notice. It’s a very serious crime. You won’t just receive a suspension, you will get jail time.

They better just fire Steve Peterson! Everything that I read about him makes me believe that Drew gave him evidence. Remember that late honeymoon that he took? The trumpet case? UGH! 👿

Bash-great to see you back! 🙂

  92. facsmiley // October 18, 2008 at 3:03 pm

    Ducky, that’s great advice.
    —————————————————–
Thanks! I just thought of something else, anyone work at a car dealership? They can run plates as well. The best thing to do is to make a complaint with the DMV and they will find out anyone and everyone that has run your license plate. 🙂

  93. Fuzzymouser-this is the same person that was looking at the dental schedules at all of the offices to find out when Drew and the kids were coming in. Another violation.

  94. Fuzzymouser-the threats are illegal. I’ll email you. Give me a few minutes. You really do need to make a police report about the threats. Someone needs to put an end to threatening people. Really!

  95. Quotes Query:

Which of the following quotes has DP *NOT* allegedly said?

    (1) “The only thing I did wrong was not having her cremated. If I had had her cremated I wouldn’t be having all this trouble.”

    (2) “I should have had that *@!&% cremated. If I had cremated her, I could have thrown her out my car window and she would have been out on the street where she belonged.”

    (3) “I should have had that $*!@% cremated. It would have cost me less and I wouldn’t be going through this trouble.”

    Answer:

Quote #1 was allegedly made by mass murderer Dr. Harold Shipman (Dr. Death) to one of his subordinates shortly before he was arrested.
    Link:
    http:// news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/478325.stm

Quotes #2 and #3 have both been attributed to DP (allegedly voiced by DP himself on the Lenny & Paula wire tapes).

    Links:
Quote #2 (video & text link):
    http://ww w.mefeedia.com/entry/friend-tells-ap-she-secretly-taped-drew-peterson/10728780/

    Quote #3:
    http://ww w.suntimes.com/news/peterson/1069491,boling072308.stng

Weird how similar they all sound, hmmm?

  96. Boy oh boyardee- DP’s so-called “timeline” in the 2nd book sucks worse than a $3 dollar person-engaged-in-the-world’s-oldest-profession (and I *ain’t* talking about farming!). 😯

If my IQ ever drops as low as his, please, just shoot me, will ya?!

  97. Hiya Bash

Funny thing too, to me, is that neither Shipman nor Peterson was actually in the position to determine cremation against burial. In their dreams.

  98. Speaking of shooting, the amazingly insensitive idiots that decided to serenade the Peterson children with their bastardized version of Frere Jacques whilst merrily toting “REDRUM” posters with all the dignity and grace of pregnant yaks on rollerskates have set the new record for all time lowest IQs.

Way to go, schmucks! Just what those dear children needed- more friggin’ nightmares!

Personally, I’m surprised that Stacy and Kathleen didn’t come down from Heaven full of righteous anger to shove those posters and music up their arses. Must not have been enough room to do so, since those idiots’ heads were already occupying the space.

Someone pass me the ammo, please…

  99. And *STILL* no word on FSP’s tax exemption status?!

Does the accountant just sit around all day picking their nose whilst cheating at computer solitaire, or WHAT?

  100. Meanwhile, back at the chicken ranch- did I read this correctly?

Exlax is gone a-courtin’ with DP and JB?

Crimony! What’s next- is she gonna wipe their arses, do their dishes, sign over her life savings and procure a plethora of critically drunken schoolgirls for the communist sods to bugger too? 😯

Must. Bang. Head. On. Wall. Now.

  101. I’m thinking about Steve Peterson and getting madder and madder. Why isn’t he sacked for that? It’s a stupid excuse to say lots of policemen do searches for personal reasons. “Custom and practice” is never n argument when you have actual rules and regulations. What? he thinks they all might want to date his not-yet-born baby? Why would you look for dirt on village officials? There must be an innocent excuse…not .

I thought there was a lot of competition for police jobs. Why do you have to keep sneaky dishonest ones?

  102. Good morning everyone.

I agree, Bucket, it is very troubling that Stephen Peterson is yet, again, in trouble.

He does have a wife, a baby on the way, and he does have a mother, so maybe they can rev up their positive influence on him and help him realize his father isn’t the best person to use as a good example. Well, as any example, for that matter.

  103. Thanks- I keep reading here, I just have been doing most of my writing as homework (went back to sschool).
I hope you caught Lester in time. I had just turned it on and they were about to do the story. It should be on the web soon I’d think.

I’m so glad they did this. Pam did well as usual getting in the truths. I’ll try to transcribe some of it.

  104. L-where is the investigation going?
PB-I wouldn’t believe what the defense atty is saying right now. I do talk to the ISP and they say it is “STILL A VERY STRONG CASE, THEY’RE STILL PROCEEDING WITH THE INVESTIGATION AND I THINK WE’RE GOING TO HAVE A CONCLUSION REAL SOON.”

  105. L- Has there been anything they’ve (ISP)come across that has advanced their hope and optimism that it wil be solved?

PB-They always give us that, but there is always information they’re finding that just encourages a very good and thorough investigation. They won’t tell us what it is, they never have, they’ve been very stoic on information, but we’ve always been trusting that what they have is very pertinent to this investigation.

  106. Anytime I read Pam Bosco’s interviews, even when their spontaneous, she is so well-spoken and articulate. She is a wonderful spokesperson to have on behalf of Stacy Peterson.

  107. Anytime I read Pam Bosco’s interviews, even when they’re spontaneous, she is so well-spoken and articulate. She is a wonderful spokesperson to have on behalf of Stacy Peterson.

  108. L-DP has not exactly stayed out of the spotlight; how does the family react to that?

PB- The more he’s in the spotlight the more information the ISP have on what he says. So it’s never been much of a distress to us to have him out there, we always think it’s more information for the investigation.

  109. L- The lie detector question “Did you bring harm to her (Kathy)?” he passed. Why do you think that is?

PB-“Talking about the Savio situation, I think its more in the back of his mind as the longer it goes, so he had a better chance at probablby passing that side of the test. But for Stacy, I think when he was deceptive on the three answers, I think its because it was the forefront of his mind, it was rather current, and I think he couldn’t hide what the truth he knew behind that case.”

(I put the commas in-she never took a breath)

Hearsay bill is *STILL* not passed into law? Ay chihuahua!
    ——–
The IL gov had to amend so it goes into effect immediately. It was missed on the original bill. He has signed, but it has to go back to the House on 11/12 for their signature.

Hoping/thinking we will finally see some action after the election and than after 11/12.

  111. on the hearsay soxfan, did I hear it said that it automatically becomes law on the 19th of November if he doesn’t sign it?

  112. lizanne61,

I think since the Gov signed, the time limit is up. Since the House already passed, hoping all will be done on the 12th when they met again. Hopefully I’m not wrong.

  113. Shoot, I’m sorry I missed the show this morning. Maybe they’ll make a video/transcript available in a bit.

Great research on the quotes, Bash and interesting observation Bucket. For people who had no say in the matter, they were terribly interested in the way the bodies were interred.

And I agree that Pam B is one class act.

  114. think you’re right, and I hope so too. Sooner the better. I’m surprised with chicago mob history that they haven’t enacted this law sooner.

I would imagine that if Stacy left a journal, as is rumored, that it too would be considered a hearsay item. hmmm

ps soxfan- We were at that last game; did you see how they lost but they still got a standing O… chicago fans are the best

  115. bash-

So glad you’re back, between you and SNL I’m laughing again!

I wish that I would have used your words. HAHA!! It’s great to see you back.

Pam B-is and has always been a class act! Can that please spew over to others?

I have a question (don’t shoot me)-who are the committee members now? Anyone know? I really am asking for good reasons-nothing is updated with them.

    lizanne61,

I was out there as well and cheering at the end. It was great to see, especially when Bobby Jenks walked out of the bullpen and tipping his hat.

We were in leftcenter and Upton’s homerun was caught by a fan that was 3 seats from my son.

The Amy Poehler rap was good. I thought I was going to lose it when the moose wandered on…
    ————–
I was the sameway. Do you think Palin was supposed to actually do the rap???

  119. She looked like she was having a good time during the show.

It would have been great to have Obama and McCain walk in as well. They were both very funny at the fundraiser the other day.

  120. Hosey’s book is currently:

    #24 in Books > Nonfiction > True Accounts > Murder & Mayhem

#32 in Books > Nonfiction > True Accounts > True Crime

    (Armie’s book doesn’t rank)

  121. Thanks facs- I’ve tried reading the book but the writing is so bad it makes me feel dyslexic. Canadian press apparently doesn’t use ‘AP’ style.
They must have lobotomy inspired dramatizations instead of news up there?

  122. Liz, to me it looked like he’s much more used to putting together PowerPoint presentations.

I’ve seen his Kunati books describesd as what a publishing house would look like if it was run by the marketing department. Exactly. It’s even more telling that he uses that quote as if it’s a Good Thing.

  123. I missed the earlier Pam B interview and haven’t be able to find anything on line.

I agree she speaks very well. Have seen many of them in the past.

  124. lizanne61 // October 19, 2008 at 12:47 pm

speaking of wildlife, this is a really funny game; make sure you click on the oval office door a few times. and don’t miss the chicken scratches on the front of the desk.

Don’t forget to click on the front of the desk too. 😀

    That’s good!

  125. noway & lizanne,

Just clicked on the link. Boy, was it funny. Clicked on computer, teen pregancy up 4000, baby names, brigde to to where. I clicked on the bridge and a car drove off. Can’t get to the front of the desk.

  126. Click on what looks like flat front of desk (right and left … imagine that the front of the desk swings open like cupboards.

  127. timetotellthetruth,

See you on the 28th. I’ll be there with my wife and possible my daughter. Hope to meet you.

Radio show is about to start, I believe
    ______________
Had my time difference mixed up 🙄 … yes, it’s about to start. I’ll check for myself.

  129. What a disappointing radio interview. Mr. Armstrong didn’t have anything new to add, other than to say Peterson is a sociopath and denied ever saying he was innocent.

He also tries to come across as an inside authority on what is going on with law enforcement, in that he says if they had hard evidence, enough to convict him, he’d have been arrested by now. He said everything is circumstantial, and they’re taking it slow and steady, as they should. He even tried to specify how he’d interrogate him if he were a police officer and had him in a room.

Hmmm. How he got so knowledgeable about what law enforcement has and doesn’t have is beyond me, since he wrote on his blog that he took the battery out of his cell phone and made sure he wasn’t being tailed by anyone, which I assume to mean the police. Thus, he has no inside loop to what their case is or isn’t.

    Just plain dumb stuff.

  130. Yeah, I totally was not impressed by Armstrong, but it’s not surprising. This is the first time that I’ve heard him call Drew a sociopath, though.

He outright lied when confronted with his statements in the book about his opinion that Drew was innocent and ‘not a killer’ and said it was quoted out of context and had to do with what the polygraph showed. I call BS on that.

He thought that Drew’s timeline would ultimately be more damning than the polygraph. Meh.

  131. He thought that Drew’s timeline would ultimately be more damning than the polygraph.

Isn’t that a given? I mean the polygraph won’t be allowed into court … and the timeline … if it varies at all from what he gave LE … would.

And of course, the timeline is a joke. The gaps are tremendous. IMO

  132. You’re welcome, whitesoxfan. You didn’t miss anything. It gets sillier the more he talks. Can’t figure out how he doesn’t see how ridiculous he sounds after writing in his book one thing, yet saying another in interviews.

  133. OT … but what’s new?

Ducky, I’ve been asked to extend an invite to you to register at Kimmers. The problems they were having with the board are fixed.

    😀

  134. About son tom’s band concert (3:15-8pm)-
It was a sunday concert so it must’ve been a big deal but no dad? Having little kids is no excuse either, they’re always welcome at the schools.

And gee, he took the day off and everything. So he had 5 hours w/o the eldest.

  135. Re: Phone call from Stacy:

9 P.M.* At home, receives call from Stacy that she found someone and is leaving.

At home? I never really gave this any attention and noticed this before. He says he was “at home” when he got the call from Stacy on his cell phone. Isn’t that easily enough verified, especially since there’s opposing information from Morphey?
