  1. Gatehouse,
    Thanks for clearing up.

We just have to wait to watch the piece tomorrow night. Can only image who made the post and what will be shown. My imagination is giving me some crazy thoughts. Will just stay calm and patient(very unlike me).

  2. Hiya Whitey!

I await the news. I hope someone youtubes it if there’s anything of interest.

Danya, no apology! The imposter should get double Chinese burns.

  3. Bucket – It’s a joke, isn’t it? Must’ve gotten under somebody’s skin.

Whoever it is is nothing but a coward!

  4. Bucket – it just proves that the “danya” was from an imposter and that they didn’t like Rescue exposing them. Oh well!

  5. OT … but does anyone or everyone have TWO boxes to choose the option “Notify me of followup comments via email”?

  6. The fiance of the former Bolingbrook police sergeant has reportedly moved into his house along with her two young children, according to the author of a book about Peterson.

Of course, there is still some question as to the identity of the woman who is marrying Peterson. NBCChicago and NBC 5 will have more on the story Monday as well as a rare look inside the home of Peterson.

    http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/Drews-Fiance-Moves-In.html

  7. You’ve seen the public side of Drew Peterson. But what is he like behind closed doors? An NBC5 News Special Report with Rob Stafford. Monday Night at 10pm.

  8. To remarry legally, the attorney said, all he has to do is file for dissolution of the marriage.

If his current wife, Stacy Peterson, who has been missing since October 2007, doesn’t respond within 30 days, their marriage is legally over.

  9. It’s not really as simple as that, luvpups. In Illinois he needs to show he gave her no reason to run away…..and he will be in jail before then.

Seems NBC5 have joined in with the Brodsky/Selig/Armstrong plan?

  10. The father of those children needs a lawyer to keep his kids out of such an environment. Remember DP online with his whores with the kids in the room? Legitimate fear of violence in the household, et al.

  11. Wonder if this is another “rumor”/attention getter, since Drewpy hasn’t been in the news lately!!!

Man, he sure craves the media attention, all the while saying it is disrupting his & his kids lives!!!

  12. Well, the Children & Family services don’t seem to think Drew’s own kids are in harms way, so I doubt any court would rule that HER kids are in harms way!

  13. Hi everyone. Hmmm. what a charmed life for Drew. I’m sure he makes all his family proud.

    Bracing for more snow!

  14. Here’s SMM’s take on situation:

NBC News Chicago: Singing the Praises of Drew Peterson?

NBC 5 News Chicago is broadcasting a “Day in the life of “Drew Peterson tonight on their news broadcast.

Maybe I under estimated the news worthy potential, filming a cowardly dickless wonder as he parades or floats across a room in the kitchen or bathroom cleaning toilet bowels or operating a vacuum cleaner in a home where a crime was likely committed. And a mother’s life, erased.

So what can we expect to see from this high profile suspect and abuser? It’s likely he will appear preparing his children’s meals, doing domestic duty around the house, folding laundry, making beds, oh and smiling for the camera as he says “this is just an average day”. Maybe we will get a glimse of the 23-year-old ( who needs a psych evaulation) to whom Peterson is engaged.

If NBC wants to do a “news” piece why not report on an investigation into the lives/deaths of Kathleen Savio and Stacy Peterson. How about interviewing Harry Smith the lawyer who represented Kathleen in her divorce and also met with Stacy to seek legal advice just days before her vanishing act in leaving Peterson. Or visiting the Will County States Attorney and doing a story on how the legal system failed both of these women, and what their office is doing differently. Or Illinois State Police and how they may have missed important evidence in the home during their search for evidence.

Parading this sick cowardly cop, a murder suspect, just feeds not only Peterson’s sick abusive pattern but, others who are as I write this, plotting and planning to murder their wives and girlfriends all in the name of getting away with murder.

Everyone who read this needs to send an email of outrage to the reporter rob.stafford@nbcuni.com Or head over to the Drew Peterson blog where they list the direct cell phone number of the reporter here.

The man in charge is Larry Wert his email is larry.wert@nbcuni.com

  15. I think it’s interesting that the NBC update misspells Selig’s first name and doesn’t mention armstrong by name at all. They just refer to him as “The author of a book…”

That’s no way to extend “mandatory courtesy”! 🙂

  16. facsmiley

    * * * * * * *

They’ve had a chance to reflect since the mass assault on their comments page, or they’re just rubbish, too.

  17. Oh Bucket, I didn’t mean to say that they’ve edited the story at all. The only story I saw today said that it had been ‘updated’ January 12, but I never actually saw it before that.

  18. I wasn’t paying close attention. I’m sort of fed up with this today. Nobody cares if he thinks he’s being stalked/got engaged/has a new hostage, er..houseguest.

  19. Hey Bucket – I’m with you. Yawn.

Armstrong’s big revelations are about as hit/miss as Peterson’s lie detector results. Too bad NBC seems to be picking up on it.

  20. This came from NBC’s website, under “Local.”

    Drew Peterson’s Fiance Moves In

    Jan 12, 2009 | 54 comments

The ex-cop, who is suspected in his fourth wife’s disappearance, has a new roommate, according to an author who is writing a book about him.

Um, last I heard, Armie signed, sealed and delivered that book. Didn’t anyone tell NBC about it?

  21. Oh Rescue, I totally missed that. Unnamed, no book title and somehow it’s in-progress. That’s some mandatory non-courtesy.

Of course, bear in mind that he has two more “investigative crime news books” in the works so technically, that could be accurate.. I heard he kicked a couple more of his authors so he can concentrate on self-publishing his stuff.

Maybe one of them is, “Drew Peterson Exposed…Some More”.

  22. Good Evening All,

After reading the NBC report and seeing the 6pm news about fiance moving in, thinking we will see Mr. Peterson ask for a divorce on the air. But as bucket said, there is more that needs to be done.

Will watch the news tonight and see what NBC will be reporting.

  23. I guess Derek took NBC to task over their lack of “mandatory courtesy”. The article has changed from the earlier:

“The fiance of the former Bolingbrook police sergeant has reportedly moved into his house along with her two young children, according to the author of a book about Peterson.

    to

“The fiance of the former Bolingbrook police sergeant has reportedly moved into his house along with her two young children, according to Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed.

Because, after all, isn’t that what it’s really all about? 🙂

NBC still hasn’t figured out the correct spelling of fiancée though….

  24. NBC still hasn’t figured out the correct spelling of fiancée though….

    * * * *

There you are, they are a bit rubbish.

  25. On the other hand, the Tribune just avoids the whole fiance/fiancée issue by referring to her simply as his ‘girlfriend’.

Drew Peterson’s girlfriend moves in, her friends say

    January 12, 2009 6:18 PM
Drew Peterson’s latest love interest has moved in with him, according to distraught friends and family members of the 23-year-old mother of two.

“It’s unbelievable,” said Joe Raines, the uncle of Peterson’s alleged fiance, Christina Raines. “I don’t get it, but what are you going do? She’s an adult.”
Peterson is the 55-year-old former Bolingbrook police sergeant who is the sole suspect in the disappearance of his current wife, Stacy. Authorities are also re-examining the mysterious death of Peterson’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in an empty bathtub in her home in 2004.

The cases have captured the media spotlight, and Peterson’s appetite for women – especially younger ones – has snared headlines and been the subject of blogs and radio talk shows. He once entertained the idea of participating in a “Win a Date with Drew” contest, and one of his former girlfriends, a 22-year-old tanning salon employee, was called to testify before the grand jury that is investigating his wives’ cases.

The investigation of Stacy Peterson itself raised eyebrows; she’s his fourth wife and was only 23 at the time of her disappearance.

Peterson declined to comment Monday on his new living arrangement, but did joke that Raines, “won the lottery…A Drew lottery.”

“She got to be with me,” he said.

The notion has Raines’ family members worried. Her father, Ernie Raines, filed several police reports with the Bolingbrook Police Department over the weekend requesting well-being checks on his daughter, and to also document that his daughter had moved in with Peterson, said spokesman Lt. Ken Teppel.

“It’s just crazy that she would make a decision of this magnitude knowing what’s out there,” Joe Raines said.

Peterson would have to file for divorce before he can proceed with a fifth wedding. In Illinois, willful desertion or abandonment for at least one year is grounds for a divorce.
    –Erika Slife

  26. Mr. Raines needs to go find Mrs. Matuska, the mother of that Kim nitwit, because when she stepped it, Drew was out of her daughter’s life, pronto!

  27. well, I guess it sort of explains why Ernie Raines was calling the cops to check on “Drew”. I suppose he was worried about this daughter as well.

Personally I’d be more worried about the danger Drew poses to her than anything her ex-boyfriend might do.

  28. So, like, is he going to watch her kids when she goes to work, or is she going to just stay home and be his love slave?

  29. yeeuch. Thats why the bs stalking story? To cover up the real reason the police were there? He is a puh-rize slop of lying offal.

There’s a photo on the NBC Chicago page of Miss Raines that has an inset pic of DP. It looks like he found a way to keep tabs on her via hologram.

  30. (PRNewsChannel) / Bolingbrook, Ill. / Drew Peterson confirmed in a taped interview with Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed, that Bolingbrook Police visited his house at 5pm today, investigating a stalking report. The ex boyfriend of Christina Raines, Drew Peterson’s new 23-year-old fiancé, allegedly boasted about stalking the Peterson house last night. Raines’ father Ernie was concerned enough to call the police, who checked on Peterson’s welfare.
    *************

So, the liar spun the truth to make it sound as though Mr. Raines called the cops to check on Peterson’s well-being, when it was his daughter he was checking on.

Oh, such a proud, proud day for Drew’s family.

    LOL!

  32. OK, I’ll be cruel then and ask if it’s true that Derek Armstrong’s face is made of silly putty? I swear, it rivals Michael Jackson’s!

  33. For those who missed it, try to catch a rerun of Greta. She had D’Armstrong on and I guess they paid for the tapes that he was pimpin’ cuz she played some of them as well.

Drew said Chrissy moved in because Mike came home drunk and abused her verbally and physically sometime last week.

  34. This commenter brought up a very good point:

    Tracy Today at 9:01 PM
Ok Wasnt the KILLER spotted kissing a girl at a night club when he was supposedly engaged?

    Has Chrissy seen that tape?

Drew Peterson has moved his fiancee and her two young children into the Bolingbrook home he formerly shared with his missing fourth wife, Stacy, a relative and other sources say.

Christina Raines (right), 24, has told her father she plans to marry Drew Peterson.
    (Rich Hein/Sun-Times, Courtesy)

And Ernest Raines said his daughter, Christina, 24, has told him that her weekend move into Peterson’s home is only the first step.

“She’s planning on living there, and they’re planning on getting married — after he gets divorced,” Ernest Raines said Monday.

Peterson wouldn’t comment Monday, nor would his attorney. Christina Raines couldn’t be reached for comment.

Raines said he’s not happy that his daughter and his grandchildren moved in with Peterson, who is 30 years older than Christina.

“I don’t like the fact that she’s with him, but what can I do?” Raines said. “This is not right, but my hands are tied.”

He said he had talked by phone several times to his daughter since she moved in with Peterson, and she has told him things are going well.

“She said, ‘I’m all right, dad. I’m fine,’ ” Raines said.

The move means six children 15 and under will be living in Peterson’s home, but maybe not for long, Raines said his daughter told him.

Peterson — who has yet to file for divorce from Stacy — has already mentioned finding a new place to live, he said.

“He’s talking about moving to a bigger place,” Ernest Raines said.

Drew Peterson’s girlfriend has moved in with him, friends and family members say
Christina Raines’ father has filed reports with Bolingbrook police to request well-being checks

  37. Good Morning All,

Just got done shoveling 4-7″ of snow and now need to get ready for work. At least in the report they interviewed Cassandra and had a statement by ISP. Was a bit concerning (if I heard correctly) that it could take another 6 months with the GJ. Did anyone else hear that???

If correct, it would be June or July. If Blago hadn’t amended the Hearsay Bill, wasn’t that the date or timing that was on the original bill??

  38. DP’s children were raised under HIS military rules. Are her children as well disciplined as his?
I highly doubt it. Maybe a problem in paradise.

  39. Is there that big a shortage of men in the 25-35 age range, that these women are so enamoured with a 55 yr old, wrinkled, suspected murderer?

Keep flashing the $$$$$ signs Drew, that is all you’ve got going for you!!

  40. Hey all! WSF, I heard them say something about the GJ but you can watch the clip again on line for the specifics. It’s embedded on that page with the story about Chrissy moving in.

  41. Looks like Hosey and Rozek have added more to their original story from this morning. Here’s the rest of it.

    Dad not happy at all

Raines admits he is not exactly happy his daughter and his grandchildren moved in with the four-times married Peterson, who is 30 years older than his daughter.
“I don’t like the fact that she’s with him, but what can I do?” he said. “This is not right, but my hands are tied.”

He has talked by phone several times to his daughter since she moved from Romeoville to Peterson’s home and she’s told him things are going well.

“She said, ‘I’m all right, dad. I’m fine,” Raines said.

He’s also talked several times to his grandchildren — one is 5 years old, the other 4 – who also told him they have moved in with Peterson, Raines said.

“They said, ‘We’re in Drew’s house,'” Raines recalled.

He said he met with his daughter Friday at a suburban coffee shop to try to persuade her to end her relationship with Peterson, but that didn’t work out the way he hoped it would.

“I was hoping it would go the other way,” he said, adding his daughter was wearing new diamond earrings she said she received from Drew.

He plans to keep communicating with his daughter and grandchildren — calling and e-mailing them regularly — but he doesn’t want to visit the house or see Peterson.

“I don’t want to talk to him,” Raines said. “I’ve got to communicate with my daughter and my grandkids, but not him.”

    Police attempt wellness check

He said Bolingbrook police have warned him to avoid confronting Peterson, something he will refrain from doing, so long as his daughter and grandchildren are fine.
“If there’s any trouble,” he said, “I’m going to be over there.”

Raines, a Chicago resident, said he is even weighing a move back to the southwest suburbs himself, so he can be closer to his daughter and his grandchildren.

“I’m going to try to move out there so I can be closer if they need me,” he said, adding: “I’m not backing off, not at all.”

Ernest Raines called Bolingbrook police several times over the weekend, expressing concern about his daughter because she had not answered her cell phone, said Lt. Ken Teppel, a police spokesman. Officers went once Friday night to Drew Peterson’s home to check on her, but neither she nor Peterson were there at the time, Teppel said.

Police will not be making any more visits, Teppel said, noting that since Christina Raines is an adult they have no grounds to continue stopping at Peterson’s home.

“We don’t want to get caught in the middle,” Teppel said.

    Neighbor: ‘You’re going to die’

Peterson’s next-door neighbor, and the best friend of his missing wife, did not see the new fiancee move in and has yet to run into her around their cul-de-sac.
The neighbor, Sharon Bychowski, believes she knows why Raines is taking up with a man old enough to be her grandfather.

“She’s thinking, ‘You won’t even have to work. I’ll give you a car. I’ll take care of your kids,'” Bychowski said. “That’s what she’s thinking, poor girl.”

“It’s the same thing as Stacy, plus a few kids,” she said. “He does the same exact thing over and over.”

And Bychowski knows what she would like to tell Christina Raines.

“All I can say is, ‘You’re going to die,'” she said. “It looks good on paper now, but that’s what Stacy thought, too.”

  42. Not being one to mince words, I think it’s time for some to come off the attacks on Lenny & Paula for doing a “good” thing by trying to further justice, and let the fun begin with this nitwit who moved in with Drewpie.

23 years old with two small kids, moving in with and accepting gifts from a crime suspect is sheer stupdity, ignorance and greed.

She’s the one that needs to get 40 lashes. What a stooge she’s turning out to be. Pity her children. Pity her father, her family. She’s the one that needs to get professional help. A caring father, and she continues to pull this baloney? Disgusting.

  43. And people like to take Stacy to task for hooking up with Drew.

But in Chrissy’s case you have to add that she hooked up with him fully aware that he’s a suspect in the disappearance and homicide of two wives and is suspected and hated by a large segment of the population. Not only that, she’s exposed her little children to the media circus surrounding him.

Damn, you’d think she could find a 55-year-old sugar daddy without the extra baggage.

  44. I can’t believe lawyers aren’t glomming onto Tony Yauk as we blog. Wouldn’t you want to be the counselor who gets those kids out of Drew’s house? Instant hero!

  45. I think it’s great that all the news outlets are reporting on it, reporting her name, and the fact that she moved her two young children in along with her. She looks like the putz of the year. It’s about time the attention got focused on the misfits who take up with Drew, and not the many other neighbors, ex-friends and family who are helping law enforcement nab this crime suspect, and who have to endure the negativity

Unless of course, she’s secretly taping him, then I would hope she’d accept my sincere apologies.

  46. I did like how Drew complained about the grocery bill in the report last night. Just wait, soon he’ll be annoyed with her for spending money on family members and friends. He’ll start monitoring her purchases and her tracking her whereabouts.

It’s like watching a train bearing down on a stalled car on the tracks. Can we at least get those kids out of the car?

  47. She doesn’t deserve anyone’s time – she’s a waste of it. She’s responsible for HER actions, but she is putting two small children in a house with a man who acts like a control freak, a drill sergeant, who is suspected of killing two of his wives, who trolls bars like a hormone-crazed 19 year old, and has little to no respect for any woman. He preys on female teens and young woman as though though he’s vying for a trophy.

Mr. Raines – find Mrs. Matuska. She was a tough cookie. Got her daughter Kim out of Drew’s loving arms. Maybe she can give you some advice on how to rearrange your daughter’s thought processes to work correctly.

  48. There were two posts made by Tony Yauk at the NBC site this morning saying that he had his kids with him and he was trying to get someone to help him get his kids out of that situation. One of the posts listed his email addy. I hope someone can help him.

  49. “Her father has asked police to conduct regular well-being checks at Peterson’s Bolingbrook home to make sure his daughter is safe.”

That is quite a different story than the one Armstrong was putting out there about him calling the police because of Mike stalking and threatening Drew. It just did not make any sense that Ernie Raines would be so worried about Drew that he would call the police.

Yet again, some top-notch “journalism” from D’armstrong.

  50. Facs – yes, Mr. Raines should be concerned. His daughter is a misfit who’s lost her way. He must be heartbroken.

  51. This is a transcription from the Greta show last night. I don’t, in any way, vouch for its accuracy. The phone conversation in particular was very hard to make out.

ON THE RECORD WITH GRETA VAN SUSTEREN – January 12, 2009

GRETA: The former sergeant has an infamous history with wives. His third wife’s death has been ruled a homicide and his fourth wife, Stacy, is still missing.

Joining us live is Derek Armstrong, Author of the book, Drew Peterson Exposed. Derek conducted the interview you just heard (sic). Do we have the tape? We do have the tape. We can listen to it.

    PHONE CONVERSATION EXCERPT:

ARMSTRONG: Tell me about the reasoning for the move-in so soon after you told me that you were engaged. What happened there?

PETERSON: Well, she’s coming out of an abusive environment where the ex-boyfriend had originally moved out when they broke up. Chrissy didn’t break up with this guy to be with me. She broke up with him to not be with him. He originally moved out and I guess, at first when we were first seeing each other he moved back in and they were both on the lease of the apartment so she had no legal standing to keep him out so… They shared an apartment but there was no (inaudible) between them. The relationship became abusive where she was physically and emotionally abused and it wasn’t a good environment for her and the kids. What had happened was early last week he came home drunk and it had caused Chrissy to leave the house with two small children at two, three in the morning to avoid a physical confrontation.

ARMSTRONG: Which day did this happen on?

PETERSON: It was last week some time.

VAN SUSTEREN: Derek Armstrong who has written a book, Drew Peterson Exposed, joins us. Derek, that’s your tape, isn’t it?

ARMSTRONG: Yes it is Greta, Hi.

    (CROSSTALK)

    VAN SUSTEREN: Go ahead.

ARMSTRONG: Sorry. I interviewed him Friday and Sunday –two different interviews. That one was from Sunday.

GRETA: Did you have an opportunity to talk to his young fiancée?

ARMSTRONG: No. She wouldn’t come on. I spent about ten minutes trying to convince her to come on, through Drew. She would just say, “No comment.” and that she was happy she moved in. That’s all I could get.

VAN SUSTEREN: How old is she and how old are her children that have also moved into the home?

ARMSTRONG: She’s 24 which I think seems to be a pattern with Drew Petersen. He’s now 55. He had his birthday last weekend. Her two kids are the same age as lacy and Anthony, which is four and five years old–a boy and a girl.

GRETA: Now, at best I’d say that Drew has really bad karma in the marriage department. A worst we’re all suspicious of him for several reasons. Does he think it’s…I mean, how does he explain that he’s now on #5 young woman moving into his house.

ARMSTRONG: it’s more than actually five. In the book I actually went through all his romances. It goes back quite a long way. It’s always with younger women. It’s quite a lot younger women as a rule, even when he was quite young himself.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you have any idea how the investigation is going into the homicide of wife number three? Is anyone going to be charged?

ARMSTRONG: I had information that there were going to be charges last month. It didn’t happen so I’m a little gun-shy on that one. A source had told me that charges were coming based on some information I had about the will – the Savio will and the hearsay law of course, that came into play.

GRETA: What about the disappearance of his fourth wife? Is it anticipated any charges will be brought in connection to her disappearance?

ARMSTRONG: I would anticipate at some point there will be but I don’t think that case is as far along. There’s not enough traction in that case as far as I can tell.

VAN SUSTEREN : Now, Drew Peterson told me that his wife simply took off and everybody says she’d never take off on her children. Has there been any indication, any sightings, use of ATM or anything at all to in any way back up Drew Peterson that she took off with a guy?

ARMSTRONG: Well, there had been some early indications from the cell phone. Her cell phone voice greeting had been changed shortly after she disappeared. There was the story of the person from college that she met where he had indicated – this was in a discovery motion – the defense found a document from the police that indicated that someone had told her that if she was unhappy she should take all the money she could, not use her credit cards and leave. And that’s about all you really have.

GRETA: All right Derek. Thank you.

  52. “What had happened was early last week he came home drunk and it had caused Chrissy to leave the house with two small children at two, three in the morning to avoid a physical confrontation.”

So maybe that explains why the neighbors didn’t notice her moving in?

  53. I remember seeing that before. I think it was changed from the personalized greeting by Stacy to the default “robot” one.

Funny, Stacy tried to leave Peterson and he made her disappear.

Kathleen did leave him, but didn’t live long enough to finalize the marital property issues before she was killed.

Raines better sleep with one eye open and realize she’s in it for the long haul.

  55. “What had happened was early last week he came home drunk and it had caused Chrissy to leave the house with two small children at two, three in the morning to avoid a physical confrontation.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I would prefer to hear the father, boyfriend or childrens fathers story than the versions cooked up by Drew and his repetative Sociopathic reasoning.

Has anyone ever noticed how his stories are always the same ?

Supposedly abused women rescued by the ever generous, gift giving, helpful Drew (!!)

  56. Forgot to mention about the “boyfriend” coming home drunk – Drew of course never comes home drunk !

Christine please note: Drew never comes home drunk (!!)

  57. Damn, if he doesn’t always have to rescue a damsel in distress at two or three in the morning. First Kim, now Christina.

Street. Rats. Isn’t that what Drew calls his rescued friends?

Yes Drew seems to always be very active at that time of the morning.

Rescuing women, speeding, hanging around truck stops (!)

What else does he do at that time of the night ?

“First I want to post about the article in the paper today about Drew’s 22 year old friend. This I hope will answer the question on alot of minds…You have to understand Drew to know what is going on. He has a habit of befriending younger people who are lost and misdirected so to speak…There are numerous examples of Drew doing this with both young men and women. There is nothing awry with this. (excpet in the imaginations of some people) The artcile ends with the woman saying that Drew was “nothing but nice to me”. Thats all that is going on. Thats what Drew is, the helpful neighbor, the friend who will always lend a hand. ”

Like when he offers to suck the makeup off a stranger’s face at a suburban strip mall nightclub…

  60. Wasn’t Drew washing clothes at his home at 2 or 3 am on the night Kathleen happened to “fall over” in her bath tub ?

What else does Drew do at 2 or 3 am in the morning ??

  61. BTW, Joel’s quote above was in reference to Kim Matsuka, who it later turned out was in a relationship with Drew. Not a “young person in need”, just another young dumb thing that Drew thought he could convince to clean his house, watch his kids and service him sexually.

I’ll better her parents thank the lord every day that she got away from him.

There you have it. Straight out of the horse ass’s mouth. If they happen to, as Facs says, “service him sexually,” that’s an added bonus!

    Street. Rats.

  63. Let’s not get impatient as Drew is still in the Courting and Impressing stages of the relationship, busily making Christina his accomplice by exploiting her needs.

Once the Disappointment stage sets in (for him that is) he will start his victimizing and degrading of Christina and her family, just like he did with all his other conquests.

My guess is that time is about two years away as the intervals between his “disappointment” will become shorter with each new wife.

That he can murder his wives and still keep the house tidy ?

That he murders the mothers but is a good father (!)

  67. facs,

Thanks for posting the link this morning. In talking to my wife and co-workers, they thought the “6-month” comment by reporter was in reference to a resolution on one of the cases.

Going to be patient and wake. NOT!!!!!

  68. ARMSTRONG: I had information that there were going to be charges last month. It didn’t happen so I’m a little gun-shy on that one. A source had told me that charges were coming based on some information I had about the will – the Savio will and the hearsay law of course, that came into play.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So Derek Armstrong had “information” there were going to be charges against Drew Peterson last month.

And who exactly parted this information to Derek Armstrong ??

Police generally tell you NOTHING indept about ongoing investigations, let alone when exactly they are going to charge someone.

LE keeps these things close to their chest and so they should too !

Drew Peterson’s 24-Year-Old Fiancé Moves In After Stalking Incident
Young woman moves into Stacy Peterson’s bedroom.
    kunati.com – January 14, 2009

    (PRNewsChannel) / Bolingbrook, Ill. /
After an alleged stalking incident, Christina Raines moved in with Drew Peterson over the weekend, bringing her two young children with her. “I couldn’t be happier,” Drew Peterson said in an exclusive interview with author Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed.

Christina Raines gave a comment through Peterson, “I don’t want to speak with the media.” But she confirmed the move was precipitated by a confrontation with her ex-boyfriend and that she’s “happy moving in.”

In a previous story on Friday, Derek Armstrong—who continues to investigate the case—reported that police visited Drew Peterson after his fiancé’s ex-boyfriend was reported as allegedly stalking them.

In the previous interview, Peterson indicated it was possible Christina would “move in.” Now, Raines has moved in to the master bedroom at the home on Pheasant Chase Court, a Bolingbrook address made infamous by the disappearance of Drew Peterson’s wife Stacy, who is also in her 20s.

Drew Peterson, who turned 55 the weekend before last said “I don’t care what people think. I love Chrissie. I love her kids. The incident with her ex-boyfriend just accelerated our plans,” in a comment disturbingly similar to a comment made for the book Drew Peterson Exposed. In an interview for the book, he had said, “I don’t care what people think. I love Stacy. I’m happy.”

In the latest interview, Peterson told Armstrong that he had plenty of room in the house for Christina and two more kids. He said his four children get along very well with her two children. “Lacy and Anthony are about the same age as Chrissie’s two kids. And my kids adore Chrissie.” This also hauntingly mirrors a comment in the book Drew Peterson Exposed, when he said, “My kids adore Stacy,” at that time referring to Kris and Tommy, children by his third wife Kathleen.

Armstrong broke the story Friday after a police conducted a “welfare check” to Peterson’s house when it was reported that Christina’s ex-boyfriend Michael L. Siuda, Jr. admitted he had peered in Drew Peterson’s windows and was stalking her. “He told Christina on the phone, and she told her father. Her father called the police.

Explaining why she moved in, Peterson said, “Either we get an order of protection against Mike—I believe he already has an order of protection from a previous girlfriend—or we move in together where I can protect her,” Drew Peterson said.

In the earlier interview, taped Friday—prior to the move—Peterson said of the ex: “This guy is insanely jealous. He won’t leave her alone. A couple of nights ago he was abusive enough that she had to leave their shared apartment with her two children.” Peterson also described an event about a month ago at a public bar where ex-boyfriend Mike physically pulled her away from Peterson. “He can get physical and he’s definitely verbally abusive. He even stole the token ring I gave Chrissie when I proposed.” Peterson also mentioned the ex-boyfriend has been tracking her with GPS on a cell-phone he gave her, and intercepting text messages from Peterson to Christina.

The new live-in arrangement MAY upset many who have followed the suspicious disappearance of fourth wife Stacy Peterson on October 28, 2007, says Armstrong. Although they are still married, on the first anniversary of her disappearance Peterson consulted a high-profile divorce attorney about a divorce based on “abandonment.” Peterson’s third wife Kathleen Savio was found dead in her bathtub, and Drew Peterson remains a person of interest in this case, now ruled a “homicide” after a new autopsy at the request of Savio’s family. At the time of Kathleen’s death, Stacy had moved in with Drew.

In the book Drew Peterson Exposed, Armstrong also described Peterson’s many younger girlfriends and wives, from his early days as a military police officer through to his resignation as a sergeant of the Bolingbrook Police after Stacy’s disappearance. Many of those intimate stories offer disconcerting similar to his current relationship. When asked about all his stories of younger women—peppered throughout the explosive book—Peterson just said, “That was then. It has nothing to do with Chrissie.”

When Armstrong asked what Peterson thought neighbors and the media would think about another woman, half his age, moving in, perhaps even sleeping Stacy’s bed—while still married to Stacy—he said, “I don’t care. It’s our life. Stacy left me. I have to move on with my life.”

The full taped interview covers Peterson’s thoughts on his children, the new larger family, his opinion of Christina’s ex-boyfriend and father, and other explosive details.

    BOOM!

(OK, I added the last bit.)

  72. What a little knot of vipers. I see they re-release the story with more insignificant detail, and repeat Drew’s lying version at length.

If Derek Armstrong is independent, why didn’t he expose the lie that the welfare checks were for Christina’s sake, not Drew’s? The BS is rising fast!

  73. Peterson Beau Moves In, Worries Family
Raines Is Set to Become Peterson’s Fifth Wife; Foul Play Suspected for Last Two
    By EMILY FRIEDMAN
    Jan. 14, 2009
Christina Raines, the fifth fiance of Drew Peterson, the former Chicago police sergeant who is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy, and the homicide of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, has moved in with her husband-to-be, causing her father to become concerned about her safety, authorities told ABCNews.com.

Christina Raines has alarmed her family by moving in with fiance Drew Peterson, who is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy, and the homicide of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.
(Courtesy Joliet Herald News/AP Photo)According to Bolingbrook Police Department, Lt. Ken Teppel, Raines’ father, Ernest Raines, has made several calls to the department requesting that officers visit Peterson’s home and check on his daughter’s well-being.

Peterson, 54, and Raines, 34, got engaged in mid-December, when their relationship was four months old.

Later, Drew Peterson Maintains InnocenceTeppel said that the first call from Ernest Raines came Thursday, Jan. 8, when he alleged that he knew Peterson was being stalked by his daughter’s former boyfriend.

“[Raines] said that Peterson was being stalked by and told police that ‘if something happens to Drew it’s not [my fault],'” said Teppel.

Patrol officers went to Peterson’s home to warn him of the threat and, according to Teppel, Peterson was grateful for the heads up and told authorities he was “not worried.”

But the next day, said Teppel, Raines called the dispatcher again, frantic over his inability to get in touch with his daughter.

“On Friday Jan. 9 at around 11:30 p.m., Christina’s dad called frustrated and upset because he hadn’t heard from his daughter all day,” said Teppel. “Raines said he was going to snap.”

“He was upset and wanted us to go to the house to see if she was OK,” said Teppel.

When officers arrived at the Peterson home, Christina was not there, said Teppel. Upon checking out the house and speaking with the children present — Peterson’s as well as Raines’ two — the officer determined that everyone was all right and called Raines back.

“The office then called Raines back and said that his daughter wasn’t there,” said Teppel. “Raines was upset that we didn’t do anything else and that his daughter was living with [Peterson],” said Teppel.

Father of Peterson’s Fiancee Says His Hands Are Tied

“The officer told her that we can’t go to Peterson’s house every hour for you to see if your daughter is OK,” said Teppel. “We’re not going to be an instrument to his harassment against [Peterson].”

Raines’ home phone numbers have been disconnected and calls made to Peterson’s publicist were not immediately returned.

In an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, Raines’ father said that he knows there isn’t much he can to do to control his daughter’s decisions, even if he doesn’t approve.

  74. There’s actually a bit more to the ABC story. I’m omitting the last page because it’s just history of the case, but here’s the rest about the ‘move-in’.
    *************************

“I don’t like the fact that she’s with him, but what can I do?” Raines told the paper. “This is not right, but my hands are tied.”

“She said, ‘I’m all right, dad. I’m fine,'” Raines said of the few conversations he’s had with his daughter since she moved in with Peterson.

Authorities also said that they received a call last week from Raines’ children’s birth father, Tony Yauk, who wanted information on how to obtain custody of his children after he learned the kids were living with Peterson, according to Teppel.

But Raines’ mother, whose name is unknown, is not as concerned about her daughter’s looming engagement, according to Derek Armstrong, author of “Drew Peterson Exposed” and a reporter who has followed the Peterson case for more than a year and who first broke the news of Peterson’s December engagement.

“There have been two different reactions to [Raines] moving in,” said Armstrong. “The mother actually went over to the Peterson home Sunday and seems to approve.”

“It was their first cordial meeting after [her daughter] had moved in,” said Armstrong, who said that Raines’ parents are separated.

Armstrong, who said he spoke to Peterson last week, was told that Raines and her two children, ages 4 and 5, had moved in earlier than the couple had initially planned because of an argument she’d had with her ex-boyfriend, whom she was still living with at the time of their engagement.

“I asked [Peterson], ‘Now that she is moving in you understand that people are going to say she’s 24 and you’re still married,'” said Armstrong. “He said, ‘I don’t care what people think. I love Chrissy and I love her kids and the incident with her ex-boyfriend just accelerated our plans.”

Armstrong said that Peterson described his fiancee in a previous interview as “very attractive” and “svelte” and said that it “wasn’t his problem” that she was so much younger than he was. There is a 30-year difference between Peterson and Raines.

  75. Young woman moves into Stacy Peterson’s bedroom.
    WTF
The scumball lowlife piece of shlt had to put THAT in the story?
    Anything to sell a freakin’book!
I’ll tell you what, if Stacy were my sister or daughter, there would be 4 people in the hospital right now for an EXTENDED stay.
That is all I have to say about that!

  76. Hi Bucket…I can’t believe he’s got another one. What do these young girls see in him. I can’t believe they are that blind and stupid….

  77. I worry she’d already be afraid to leave. He’s probably told her all about how he’s the only one who really cares and can protect her.

  78. Bucket – you worry for nothing. She knows more about him than any of his past loves have known.

She’s a conniving, greedy street rat who’s looking for the gravy train route.

Can’t help but feel pity for her worried family and friends, though. Oh, and two more kids that are thrown into a situation that is out of their control, and who have to live with the circumstances.

As far as Drew Peterson goes, he’s the onen that has a nasty habit of using 911 for his benefit. Coward that he is.

  79. I wonder if Ms. Raines has quit her job at TGI Friday’s yet? After all, the “insanely jealous” Mike still works there and we know Drew wants to protect her from him.

I’m just afraid that by the time she wakes up to the idiocy of what she’s gotten herself into, she’s completely dependent on the murder suspect and then she’s going to have a tough time gettnig away from him.

That seems to be when the women around him disappear or ‘slip and fall’. When they try to get out from under his control.

  80. I reserve my concern for ALL of the kids involved.

You know, the kids that were psychologically damaged by posters of Stacy in the next door neighbor’s yard and windows. Thank heavens they don’t have to be damaged by that anymore – now they can get to know and love a new mommie – hopefully one that won’t disappear or fall dead in a bathtub.

  81. maybe with all the attention that he is getting about his missing and dead X’s he will not do anything to this one to prove that he isn’t guilty of the others. He would be a complete jerk if he did with all the media attention. She might also think along these lines as well.

  82. qhorses – hi!

I wish that could be true, but he was in the middle of a bitter divorce settlement with his ex-wife, and had been involved with at least 18 calls to the police during domestic squabbles, and, still, she fell dead in the bath tub and he didn’t even get checked out fully as a possible suspect.

Maybe she a psycho that HE should watch out for and who just might be the one that will do harm!

Just that the poor kids in that house have to live with two lunatics now. So sad.

  83. You’d think so Qhorses, but so far the media scrutiny hasn’t stopped him from doing anything he’s felt like doing. i.e., Win a Date with Drew.

  84. This is new as well. No, I’m not copying the whole press release because most of it is regurgitated crap and no, I’m not posting a link to it or crediting it because you all know where it comes from:

…Peterson confirmed Stacy’s clothes had been “packed away” clearing room in the master closet for Christina.

“We went shopping yesterday for bunk beds for the kids. Now there are two princesses in the princess room,” Peterson said in the interview. Chrissy’s two children by a previous boyfriend, are the same ages as Peterson’s two children with Stacy Peterson—his young wife who has been missing since October of 2007. “Chrissy’s kids are great. A boy and a girl. My kids have new pals.” When asked by Armstrong about the many pictures of Stacy Peterson in the house, Peterson replied, “They’re still up. My kids have a right to their memories.”

Peterson said he had plenty of room in the house for “Chrissy” and two more kids. He said his four children get along very well with her two children…

  85. I’ll just say that the press release from which the above clip was copied is pretty spectacular in the amount of typos and grammatical nonsense it contains, even for a PRNewsChannel release.

Armstrong is in a fever to strike while the iron is hot and sell those tapes while people are still carrying the story. *barf*

  86. All I can say is let him keep opening his big mouth. He’s not hurting the prosecution’s case against him in any way, shape, or form with these antics.

In fact, he is keeping Stacy’s name in the news which is important in a missing person case while making himself look like a fool which will not bode well for his defense team if he is ever charged in this case. Sadly, in some cases, such as Lisa Stebic’s, where the husband stays very quiet, the story ends up getting pushed out of the news and people kind of forget about them.

  87. When asked by Armstrong about the many pictures of Stacy Peterson in the house, Peterson replied, “They’re still up. My kids have a right to their memories.”
    *************************

Let’s see, how many opportunities has he had to use this line in the last 15 years…

  88. Well, I look at it this way. Chrissy Raines is not the brightest bulb on the Christmas Tree. In fact, knowing what she does about Peterson’s life, yet moving in with him along with her two innocent children, makes me think she’s off her rocker. Greedy, looking for a sugar daddy, but mentally off the mark.

We’re all blabbing about how she’s going to be his next victim when, in reality, she may be the one that will do him in, heh? After all, judging by the way she is going against the wishes of her family and friends by moving in with the Prince of Darkness, she might just be Lizzy Borden in disguise.

Ya never know. Stranger things have happened. Just ask Drew – he lost an ex-wife to a drowning in a dry bath tub!

    Lizzy Borden took an ax………

  89. Somehow, I feel that if she gets cosmetic surgery, braces, breast implants and whatever else that lovelorn reject of his always rants about, we’ll be deserving of an apology.

Drew’s “loved ones” better hope he hasn’t found himself a mutant as evil as he is – because he might just be the next victim we’re reading about.

Unless, of course, he’s got somebody doing background checks on his roommates. I heard his son is good at that stuff.

  90. Somehow I feel that if Drew disappears none of his neighbors will have memorial gardens in their front yards.

And 99% of the people that know him, or of him, will be smiling ear to ear.

  91. Sad truth is that he is likely the key to finding Stacy and if he disappears or something happens to him, her family may never find out what really happened to her.

(Sorry to bust the party that was started.)

    ….pop goes the weasel…..

    Pop goes the weasel…

    oops

  93. thinkaboutit2 // January 14, 2009 at 2:11 pm

Sad truth is that he is likely the key to finding Stacy …
    ******************************

Do you think? I’m not so sure. I really don’t feel that he will ever confess and if he was going to slip up I think he would have done it by now.

I’ll allow him to live in my hypothetical future if there’s any likelihood tho…

  94. Facs – LOL. Stranger things have happened when someone is facing the death penalty versus a plea agreement. Some narcissistic murderers have been known to brag about killing people that the police didn’t even were linked to them. I’ve seen this on some criminal documentary shows.

  95. I am still very confused as to why Drew is on the phone granting interviews to the the predatory Armstrong

Why is he even mentioning the changes to his household, the removal of Stacy’s belongings, the treatment of her photos throughout the house?

Doesn’t he realize that every time people read this stuff they become freshly disgusted and angry? That it only serves to remind them of Stacy and the fact that she’s had no justice and her family no closure?

    Keep it up, laughing boy!

  96. Well, there’s still hope here. Maybe the new mommy is wired for sound.

Maybe the new mommy is out to get Drew.

Because, thinking the unthinkable – that she loves Drew, thinks that sleeping with him is (oh, help me here) acceptable, and that she’s up to taking care of six minor children at the age of 23, is the reality of it all, is a very sickening thought.

  97. I don’t think he’ll tell anytime soon, but if Stacy is still not found in years to come he just might have to tell someone because he wants someone to know how clever he is.

  98. Drew is obvsiously telling Armstrong this stuff so that he gets in the news. His team is always bitching and moaning about the press hounding his client and doing the whole “sinister sells” shit and that others are causing harm to his children by coming into and out of their life and he is the one out there putting the BS on the plate and bringing people with their own set of problems around his children.

He is likely getting a cut of any money that Armstrong is making from selling the taped phone conversations.

Plus, I still say he is hoping that some shows want him to appear on their show so he can get another free trip and maybe be paid for his interview.

Poor guy – he doesn’t have enough brains to realize that all he is doing is hurting his future defense.

  99. Don’t worry about Chrissy taking care of the kids – I think a lot of that work falls (and will continue to fall) on the two older boys. They seem to be the ones doing it all this time, haven’t they?

  100. Hey Bucket ~ I actually think he might have a hand in helping her remains be discovered sooner than later.

I’m not convinced that his quest for a divorce will be so easy. As far as a divorce is concerned and him moving on with his life, things would probably go a lot more smoothly if Stacy’s remains were found. Of course, that might not happen until he starts the proceedings, and he did run up against a Judge who’s very not sympathetic to granting him an easy divorce.

  101. TAI – her taking care of the kids? She couldn’t handle her own life, taking care of her two kids and herself, without flopping herself at the feet of the evil one! If she can’t take care of her own self and her own life, how is she going to take care of anyone else’s?

Of course, she might be a good playmate for the little ones, because that appears to be about the only thing she’s capable of doing. Functioning in the real world and moving through it like a responsible, level headed person doesn’t seem to be her strong trait.

  102. Rescue, I am still thinking about that a lot. As distasteful as the whole new young girlfriend thing is, it’s really only interesting to me in that he might want to marry her. To marry her he will need to either divorce Stacy or show her to be dead. Either thing is going to present Drew with some interesting problems. He may not be able to get divorced at all, given the laws about desertion in Illinois. Proving that Stacy is dead would definitely mean fewer legal entanglements, but in creating a situation in which her remains “surface’ he risks being exposed as her killer.

What is he going to do?

  103. As for Armstrong’s connection to Drew I’m sure there’s money involved. There has to be.

Either they are just outright lying about the royalties, or as TAI suggested, Drew is getting a percentage of the ‘licensing fees’ or whatever for the audio tapes D’Armstrong is selling. Perhaps he’s hard at work at “Further Exposed” and Drew will be getting a cut of those royalties. But there’s money changing hands somewhere.

  104. See, that’s the beauty of this all. I believe he’s cocky enough to think he can get around her death if her remains turn up.

It would be quite simple for him to go forward with a divorce if her remains were found. Dead is dead. He’s out of the marital commitment. Gets the marital assets, free and clear. Brodsky will fire up the white noise, and they’ll figure out who’s the best patsy to pin her death on.

We’ll see. This may be a blessing in disguise.

  105. Q – I think he may pester her about it first.

For one thing, it’s in his best interest to share his assets with another party, preferrably one he can control before he is charged, convicted and sent to prison.

For another, I’m sure he wants this same party to adopt his kids so that he can keep them from the Cales and Savios should they try to get custody.

  106. Rescue, I don’t think you need to divorce your spouse if they die. Her death would make him a widower and he can pretty easily gain control of all of the shared assets – especially if she did not make a will.

  107. BTW, if you remember, since it’s been determined that Kathleen died at the hands of a murderer, and her then bf was called before the GJ investigating her death, Brodsky was spewing that he should have lawyered up, taken the Fifth, remember? Setting him up in their sites as the logical guy to hold suspect in her murder, since we all KNOW it wasn’t his client, heh? Can you just see the same thing happening if Stacy’s remains were “discovered?”

TAI – her taking care of the kids? She couldn’t handle her own life, taking care of her two kids and herself, without flopping herself at the feet of the evil one! If she can’t take care of her own self and her own life, how is she going to take care of anyone else’s?

    ***

Rescue – I think you missed my sarcasm. I’m saying that she isn’t going to be the one taking care of the kids anyway – the older boys will be.

  109. qhorses // January 14, 2009 at 3:04 pm

should be interesting to see what happens when she starts to pester him about getting married.

    ***

I think Drew seems to be the one pestering the young ladies to take a ring from him. I count about 3 of them now (well one was really a guy that he never even met in person yet talked marriage to).

  110. TAI – you sure are right about that! Those teens should be the ones to grab the money out of the safe and run for the beach!

  111. TAI – Did you see the IM conversations that were posted at Drewpetersonkills between him and someone who calls herself Toby? He was totes ready for her to come move in with him to help with the house and kids…and he hadn’t met her yet.

She broke it off when she read in the news that he’d gotten engaged to this other poor bim.

  112. Facs…..you are so right I didn’t think about it that way, but does he have enough time to prove Stacy’s dead, marry the girlfriend and have her adopt all his kids and put half his assets in her name…..wow no wonder he retired from the force you sure can’t work and do all that….

  113. I don’t go to that site very often. I recall hearing something about there being other women even back in the Ashley days when a magazine was releasing some other woman’s name that he was tied to. I’m betting that there are more.

  114. Did you see HER father on Inside Edition a few minutes ago?

They were asking people to call to vote yes or no if you think she is safe moving in with him.

Number: 1-800-296-2446 and you have option to leave a recorded message that may be aired!

  115. Sadly, the new mommy will have to live with the recent pics of the evil one kissing yet another bimbette after the big engagement announcement went awry, and he had to cruise the bars that weekend.

But, this is all good now, since it may turn out that seeking a divorce from Stacy may unturn who-knows-what.

  116. This was their last conversation:

    11/29/2008

Drew Peterson (11/29/2008 12:47:10 AM): Hi Toby hope you had a nice thanksgiving and all is well with you.

    12/17/2008

Toby Hunts (12/17/2008 11:17:05 AM): seen the news this morning, you’re engaged and getting married?? I’m happy for you Drew but you didnt have to lie to me, you wanted me to come live with you and see where it went you said

Toby Hunts (12/17/2008 11:17:39 AM): and you said you were not seeing anyone last time we chatted so why did you lie to me? the news said you have been seeing her for 4 months

Toby Hunts (12/17/2008 11:21:48 AM): I guess while you were seeing her you were trying to see me & lie about her which I dont understand, I am finally here in illinois for my mother just like i said i would be, i wont bother contacting you anymore, i wish you well in all you do, take care & merry christmas to you & the family

  117. Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:26:47 PM): You can stay with me until you find something

Toby Hunts (11/25/2008 6:27:24 PM): yea that would go over good with your kids, they would spike my cereal in the morning

Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:28:00 PM): they are a fun loving group for sure

Toby Hunts (11/25/2008 6:28:09 PM): you have extra room there? maybe if i dont find anything good by then i could rent a room from you?

Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:28:51 PM): Many different possibilities

Toby Hunts (11/25/2008 6:30:09 PM): well if i dont find anything and you’re willing to let me have a room with you i would be willing to pay plus help clean up & cook dinners, i wouldnt be a bother and i’m easy to get along with

Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:31:11 PM): Toby I already like you alot Meet with me before you do anything I really want to help you

Toby Hunts (11/25/2008 6:31:31 PM): can i park my car in the garge for the winter though? i hate cleaning snow off of my car unless you’re going to do that for me

Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:37:35 PM): Sorry phone call and I will clean your car off

  118. Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:56:16 PM): Ok keep in mind I would be willing to drive up by you this weekend for a while if you can get out for a while

Toby Hunts (11/25/2008 6:57:12 PM): with family here i doubt it and if i left that would be rude i think, my uncle from indiana will be here and my aunt from north carolina will be here

Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 6:57:50 PM): Ok just want to meet with you soon

Toby Hunts (11/25/2008 6:59:03 PM): it would be like i am leaving them to take care of my mom which would not be right, listen just so you know i dont have a problem meeting you, you have been a soothing soul for me

Drew Peterson (11/25/2008 7:00:52 PM):I am sincere but I am looking for some help with the house and kids and you seem to be what I’m looking for in a relationship so if we can work something out great if not we made a good friend in each other
    ***********************

Then he got engaged to Chrrisy about 3 weeks later.

  119. I guess Chrissy’s dad was on Inside Edition today and they quickly spoke with Drew:

[QUOTE]INSIDE EDITION caught up with Peterson, who denies any wrongdoing, outside his home in suburban Chicago.

“Can you tell me…are you in love? Are you in like?” an INSIDE EDITION reporter asked.

“Ha ha ha. Some serious lust going on,” responded a chuckling Peterson.[/QUOTE]

I sure hope Chrissy reads this – although if all of the other stuff didn’t sway her this probably won’t either.

  120. Since he’s considered a suspect in the disappearance of his wife, and since this loser that moved in with him has two small children, I wonder if her children’s father and/or their grandfather can do anything legally to get them away from her and out of his house?

If she’s still working, does she leave those kids in the care of Peterson himself? I know the teens do a lot of child sitting, but they do have to go to school sometime, so they’re not always around to watch them. Oh, what a mess for those poor kids.

  121. “serious lust going on.”

They didn’t feature that kind of stuff on the Mr. Mom video. Only him telling Lacy that he loves her, and they had half an hour to eat.

Oh, and folding laundry on the bed that Chrissy is now sleeping in.

But nothing about serious lust going on.

  122. Rescue – It seems to me that she is a lost soul with no self-esteem if she thinks that Drew is her knight in shining armour like Stacy thought.

  123. Drews been cruising bars, flirting on the internet, coaxing women he doesn’t even know to come and live with him as recent as early December (Toby conversations), yet he was “dating” Christina, who has a “jealous, stalking” boyfriend, even though Christina and the boyfriend had “split up” and were only living in the same apartment because of “lease arrangements”.

After Drew “dates” Christina for “four months”, Drew gets engaged “because he loves Chrissie”, then immediately goes to a bar without “Chrissie” and slobbers all over several female patrons (plenty photos), “Chrissie” then moves in with Drew because of Christinas “jealous, stalking boyfriend”, who isn’t really her boyfriend anymore.

    I am glad it’s that simple !!

  124. What does Brodsky’s remark mean – it doesn’t make any sense to me?

The children’s father doesn’t want them with Peterson and he’s worried about them. Brodsky said he has no legal right to the kids because “there’s no court order for child support.”

Huh? You mean the father can’t be concerned and want his kids out of a crime suspect’s house because Brodsky says he has no “legal right to the kids?”

    That’s sick.

  125. So, if the mom of these little people turns out to be a mental midget, just who DOES have the right to get them out of that house? Who initiates the first move to get them into safe hands?

  126. Recipe For Hope, Stacy Peterson

Are you sick and tired of seeing the shenanigans of Drew Peterson and his merry band of pranksters constantly in the news and on your TV? Have you had about enough of this constant barrage of disrespect for the mothers of his children? What can you do about it? What can you do to bring back the respect and dignity to this three ring circus?

There is a group of people on the internet that are fighting to do just that.

This group would like to see the dignity and respect for Stacy Peterson and Kathleen Savio be restored, not only on the internet, but in mainstream media as well.

If Stacy or Kathleen had reached out to a domestic violence organization, maybe they would be here today to relate their stories.

This group would like to raise money to bolster the efforts of local domestic violence organizations and the way they would like to do that is publish a cookbook.

Not just any ordinary cookbook, but a cookbook with recipes along with safety tips for women caught in this cycle of abuse. Are you a survivor of violence, or is someone you know caught in an abusive relationship. Some of these tips you offer could save someone’s life.

This is one of the easiest, no cost to you, things you can do! Just write out your favorite recipe, add your name and city, if you like, and email it to:

    recipesforstacy@gmail.com

Oh! One more thing!!…Please, please include any safety tips for that someone you know who is looking to safely get out of the cycle of abuse! These valuable tips will be included in the cookbook in recipe form…..sort of like 1oz. of prevention, 1C safety, stir in a pinch of caution and don’t let it boil over!

All of the printing costs are donated and ALL proceeds will go to an organization that helps women safely survive!

    DO IT TODAY!

  127. “Raines begged police to regularly check on his daughter, but he says they told him there was nothing they could do. So he says he’s taking matters into his own hands.”

Maybe he should take that book that Drew autographed for him and find all the parts about Drew being a serial cheater and highlight them, then return it back into Chrissy’s hands.

  128. I’m concerned that he doesn’t have to marry her and she adopt his children. If he can establish her as primary caregiver and everyone becomes emotionally attached, who knows how Children’s Services will recommend. He wanted to get her in as soon as possible, and he was probably advised to do so.

  129. Facs, you betcha there’s money there. Why would Armstrong pretend to be neutral, an independent investigator and have all these exclusive interviews with which to have stuff to broadcast as black noise. bulloney

  130. Are you sick and tired of seeing the shenanigans of Drew Peterson and his merry band of pranksters constantly in the news and on your TV? Have you had about enough of this constant barrage of disrespect for the mothers of his children?
    YES
What can you do about it? What can you do to bring back the respect and dignity to this three ring circus?
There is a group of people on the internet that are fighting to do just that.

    where, when, and how?

  131. All these people arguing, advising, begging, threatening Christina to get out or getting her children out of the house is only going to make her resolve stronger wanting to be with Drew.

At present Drew is the knight in shining armour, “helping” Christina as much as he can, making her life as inviting as he knows how and the more noise everyone makes, the more Christina is going to believe Drew is wonderful and everyone else is wrong.

Needless to say this is exactly what Drew is speculating on and his first step in isolating Christina from family and friends and he doesn’t have to do lift a finger to achieve this as everyone is driving them closer together as it is right now !

No one can make Christina see what she doesn’t want to see as at this stage she doesn’t know a Sociopath on a mission from a normal caring guy !

  132. I agree, Just. She’s clueless. She’s relieved that he is a buffer from the turbulence outside their their home and can’t recognise that he’s the one who caused it.

  133. JAH – With all due respect, you have to expect her family and friends to do everything they can to convince her that what she’s doing is insane.

She’s not in the midst of an abusive and stalking relationship with him, as most all his other wives and ex-financee were, and trying to get out, she’s jumping into one with him, head first! There is no rational reason for her doing this. She’s running away from what? An abusive boyfriend? Her father was there for her – to take her in. Why is she running to this misfit?

Most abused women would do anything they could to get OUT of such a relationship, but despair because there’s no safe haven for them, or they have no one to help them. This woman is lucky – she has loving, caring people around her. Does that sound like a woman that is playing with a full deck? IMHO, I think not.

  134. Isee what you’re saying, rescue. I just think that you don’t have to have been abused in any of the headline ways to have low self esteem.

I think there is a chance he has been grooming her for a long while.

  135. Woo, boy, Bucket, Peterson does have a way of zeroing in on the weak links, doesn’t he? It’s an uncanny knack he has of bringing out the worst in people, no?

  136. You don’t have to have low self esteem to suffer neediness. She’s known him for a long time so much easier to persuade her than someone who only met him aprés Kitty and Stacy.

  137. rescueapet // January 14, 2009 at 6:23 pm

JAH – With all due respect, you have to expect her family and friends to do everything they can to convince her that what she’s doing is insane.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

yes rescueapet, what she is doing is insane, but she is not listening to anyone as she is “in love” with Drew and anyone wanting to “convince” her otherwise (by whatever means) is only going to strenghten her resolve to be with him more, which is exactly how Drew wants it to be !

That is the point I was trying to make……

  138. Rescue, predators sure do know how to spot their victims. For a start, a single mother of two…how vulnerable is that? She probably telegraphs her insecurities in her behaviour as much as her mask-like makeup to the level of eyebrowlessness. She a pretty girl and should never be wearing all that.

  139. I found this very thoughtfully written piece, on a writer’s blog.

    http://writeasrain.wordpress.com/2009/01/15/dangerous-liaisons-drew-petersons-fiance-moves-in/

Dangerous Liaisons-Drew Peterson’s Fiance Moves In

    January 15, 2009 by writeasrain

Wow, I can’t imagine, as a parent, how horrifying it would be to me to have one of my daughter’s move in with someone who was suspected of killing not one but possibly two of his wives. However, that is the exact scenerio that Ernest Raines, father of Christina Raines-Drew Peterson’s fiance, is facing this week.

Ernest Raines is extremely worried and concerned that his 24 year old daughter has moved out of the residence that she shared with her previous boyfriend, and moved in with Drew Peterson the former police sergeant from Chicago.

Christina and Drew became engaged in December after becoming involved with one another approximately four months previous to that. Drew has been considered a suspect, by many, in the suspicious disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy at the end of October 2007. Drew’s third wife , died under mysterious circumstances, in 2004, and that death has recently been classified as a homicide.

It is no wonder that Christina’s father Ernest is seriously concerned about his daughter’s well being considering the fact that 2 of Drew’s 4 wives have either gone missing or died under questionable circumstances. Not only has Christina moved into Drew’s home; but , so have her very young children, ages 4 and 5.

Christina is a legal adult and is free to make her own choices regarding her personal life; even if she doesn’t believe that she is in some kind of danger. However, she is the parent of two young children and it’s not good parenting to put them in the middle of a situation where they could possibly be in danger.

Parents across the nation have had their children removed from their custody for lesser reasons. There are reports that the two young children’s birth father, Tony Yauk, has allegedly been asking authorities how he goes about getting custody of those children. If I were in his position…I would do the very same thing.

If you are a parent who perceives that your children are in danger and you do nothing…that is considered failure to protect. I would ask Christina if her relationship with Drew Peterson is worth the possible loss of custody of her biological children? Shouldn’t your own flesh and blood come before any romantic relationship? If her relationship with Drew is so important to her …maybe she should consider relinquishing custody to the father of her children; or, maybe even to her own parents or relatives; if they are appropriate people to be caregivers.

You also have to wonder about a woman who would start a relationship with a man who is 30 years older than her; who has also been the subject of much speculation regarding previous relationships. How do you put those concerns aside and consider becoming his 5th wife and move your children into that environment? What needs, of Christina’s, are being met by being romatically involved with Drew Peterson? Why would Drew Peterson want more attention drawn to him after all of this time of scrutiny from the authorities and the media?

  140. “They’re still up. My kids have a right to their memories.”

Is he talking about his internet virtual, uh, dating?

“They’re still up. My kids have a right to their memories.”

    ****

I’d like to argue that they actually have a right to have their moms alive and in their lives.
